This is an amazing beauty; smokey incense, wood (both oud and sandalwood), spices, myrrh, a quite prominent rose (not mentioned among the notes) and touch of vanilla in the far drydown is what I get. The drydown takes hours to show up but the road to get there makes it so worth the wait. This is a perfume with many layers and each one of them is pure perfection. Perfectly unisex in my opinion.
Who are the perfumers working at Arabian Oud? I also have Ghroob and Kalemat black from this house and they are all my favourite scents, long lasting with fantastic sillage and very natural smelling. No smell of synthetic oud whatsoever (even thought they use synthetic oud as everybody else in the perfume industry). Pure artistry and no famous perfumers ever revealed. Not much about the house either.
I hope they will get some help with their branding and marketing – their perfumes are simply too good not to be spread over the world.

Another Amazing scent form Arabian Oud!!I’m love with this house! fantastic fragrances, high quality, beautiful packaging, reasonable prices… what else? really! And This scent is fantastic!!! Strong with an amazing longevity and monster sillage. i really love Momayaz, and it’s different from all others fragrances out there.
For the rest, i agree with kinetisphere, so my review ends here :p
PS…i hope they will ship internationally from their original on-line store again..It’s a little bit hard to find those fragrancies., I’ve found some honest sellers on-line (based in Saudi Arabia), but usually i prefer to buy direclty through official websites to avoid the risk of fake bottles (there is also an Arabian Oud web store based in UK, but the prices are higer…*_*.)…

~{first and foremost}~
i have to thank rawannnna for this!!
(THANK YOU! RAWANNNNA!!!)
(scent story)
it took me almost a week to figure out what this reminded me of. it is the fizzy ginger root drinks that they sell off the street carts in nicaragua!
(the review)
this fragrance like reinhard states is definitely not your typical “oud”. it has a fun and playful aspect.
it starts off fizzy, mildly sweet and has this unique deep dark woody undertone that holds this scent together. the fragrance does change over it’s duration and loses the light fizzy airy initial first blast about an hour into it. then stays true to it’s aroma for the rest of it’s scent life. this fragrance lasts and last! i gave myself a good 4 sprays and i admit it (i over did it) not so much that i exuded this cloud to others.. the darn thing is just so beastly it stayed on my skin for 24hrs even after a shower! that was 3 under my “A” shirt and 1 on top of the rest of me including my neck.
so yes beware the strength of this perfume!! she is strong an unforgiving to it’s wearer.
(kinda nice though) when you think of how weak some of the perfumes are of this day and era.
(the break down)
sillage: projection: 9/10 this thing is a beast and if you spray more than 2-3 sprays everyone will know!
longevity: 9/10 as mentioned in the review… this perfume is a monster! (in a damn good way!)
quality: 9/10 i am continually impressed with the quality of the arabic market their products
(all that i have tested) have blown the rest of the perfumes out of the water that i have tested!
** there are a few that will stand up to/with these fragrances.. but your typical designer and some niche just don’t hold a candle to the performance and quality of these perfumes.
*** in the end for the price of a high end designer..75-125 dollars you can get something like this that will just kill a designer. and it will be less or at the same price.
these are my thoughts and opinions, thank you for taking the time to read this. Lj

This fragrance is superb – Rawanna is right, Momayaz isn’t the place if you’re looking for your typical oud like what M7 or Montales.
Momayaz took a very different path, there’s a slight sweetness but not overdone with quite dominant woody aspect (from where it come from? its almost like sandalwood) that makes it perfect for someone who craves into masculine Arabian fragrance, the myrrh and olibanum also help to give more depth to this fragrance, makes it even more attractive by giving a more multi-faceted scent rather than linear one
Longevity and projection is superb. On my skin it tend to have stronger woody characters rather than Arabian Oud typical sweetness, one of the finest Arabian Oud (the brand) that I’ve tried.
score : a solid 8.5 from 10
careful on spray though, Momayaz could be easily overwhelming! 2 spray is enough

This perfume is special, its not the strong oud you think it may be, rather, soft long lasting somehow sweet oud. Amber and Myrrh notes are dominant, while oud is harmonizing the perfume and balancing the entire formula. a nice creation and good blend, quit unisex. if you like dominant oud blends, this one is not.
