An unpleasant fecal opening that develops into a smoky, dark leather scent. That sums this up.

A wonderful barnyard oud that is quite animalic some hours, then become more and more woody and a little bit smokey. Unlike many there seems to be very little if any musk in this, which I like. Very, very good. I´m getting a bottle of this.

Hands down the most animalic oud I’ve ever had the chance to try !
It starts off with an enormous blast of blue cheese and fresh cow dung, with a really strange sweetness to it (the honey I’m guessing).
Oud Hindi calms down on the barnyard after 2 hours. The earthy notes come forth later on and create a really nice woody effect, like a pile of freshly cut timber.
The resins and leather are only noticeable after 4 hours or so.
I’m glad I decided to try this one out on my day off, because even if I enjoy and respect the beauty of Oud Hindi, I can’t picture myself wearing it outside the house, at least for the first 2 hours.
After that, the sillage drops significantly and Oud Hindi becomes a really nice wearable indian oud.
Totally recommend for for oud aficionados though !
