batmanik – :
Beautiful unisex oriental fragrance, no sugary at all.
The woody facet ads some depth to the amber, the oud is faint but the frag does have this little smoky vibe.
Very nice composition.
BUT
performs really bad on me !?
longevity is poor, i’m sad about that…
RANGEROVER – :
this is exactly what the first Omnia Bvlgari, the first brown one, was like, begore discontinued. a light spicy woody scent, with just a tad of sweetnes, a bit milky like a sort of masaala chai, spicy thea with milk. very pleasant, specially in fall winter,I love layerîg it with a bit of Baume et bois ou Oud vanille, or the 3 at the time, it gives a deeper ambery woody spicy scent, soft but not too sweet. one of the best adopt’s scents.
ruslanmail – :
Oud Ambre is very simple and uncomplicated, which makes it a good layering tool. Think of it as a basic Guerlinade – but lightened to a point of sheer transparency – with loads of Ambroxan added.
The top notes last for about 10 minutes with little to no projection. You’re left with a nice and comforting woody amber accord, dominated by sandalwood.
The late drydown (4 to 5 hours on me) is mostly vanilla and labdanum, with a touch of white musk.
To sum up : an uncomplicated light amber, which can be extremely versatile in its uses. It would be a good place to start for oriental/woody newbies, but I personnally like to layer it with disappointing rose fragrances (Nectar de rose, I’m looking at you) or wear it on average days when I have no inspiration for a more enlightened frangrance choice.
romanchuk777 – :
Fond : labdanum, vanille, muscs, ambre.
