Orion is a beautiful perfume,I am not a great fan of perfume Paolo Terenzi,I have Orion,Arethusa and Gumin.After a certain time,all the perfumes of this house make me boring and difficult for my nose,except Orion,who is very pleasent.
Orion has a wonderful sillage,drydown is beautiful especially on the clothes and stays after washing. It lasts more than 8 hours on the skin.
Bottle is beautiful as a sculpture that adorns the entire collection.

This is an absolute stunner! Very classy delicious summer fragrance for the fragrance connoisseur. Tiziana Terenzi is a great house and everything I’ve tried from them so far is absolutely stunning, rich, deep, strong, smooth, and done so well. This is an extrait de parfum concentration, so you know this is going to be strong, last forever, and you’re really going to smell it! The price for a perfume at this concentration that smells this good is an incredible value when you consider all the poor performing outrageously expensive niche brands out there.
Getting on to the notes and overall impression, this is just a very classy refined summer scent that is very similar to the ubiquitous/contentious Creed Aventus, but done much much better. Is it the same, of course not. But is very similar, but it’s own fragrance for sure. The subtle differences separate this from Aventus and take it to a much better place overall and is just more refined and wearable for an adult. I definitely feel like Byredo Oud Immortel and this share more similarities as far as the overall impression, then Orion and Aventus.
All great/genius designers will always tell you: Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. And that is what Paolo Terenzi has done here. He’s taken a good idea, but poorly executed fragrance (Aventus) and made it so much better, more refined, more adult, smoother, more interesting, and much longer lasting as well as much stronger. Everyone is obviously going to bring up the comparisons, between the two, but they end right there. This transcends Aventus with very little effort. From the beautiful fresh citrus opening, to the sexy intoxicating middle and dry down with the smoky birch, pineapple, incense, cedar, amber and other accompanying notes that add to the overall effect, this is just so much better than Aventus or any other “clone” like fragrance that says it’s like Aventus. Every time I wear this, I think I love it more then the last time! And talk about a compliment grabber, haha. I don’t like wearing fragrances for others. I wear them for myself and usually don’t care what others say, but when I wear this, people make me blush! I get asked all the time what I’m wearing if I have this on, and get so many compliments it’s embarrassing. I’ve tried to only put on 1-2 sprays on my chest when I wear this so I won’t attract as much attention.
This smells like a niche fragrance while Aventus smells like a designer with promise, but that wasn’t executed very well. This is strong, sexy, consistent, and you can smell this ALL day, and even longer. Most fragrances don’t last very long on my skin, and this goes 12+ hrs of noticeable sillage. And then a skin scent for hours more. It’s just amazing. This isn’t too sweet like some batches of Aventus, it isn’t too dark and smoky like some batches of Aventus, it’s perfect. Very addictive and girls find it very sexy. Aventus is way overpriced, extremely inconsistent from batch to batch (which is BS! Make the same perfume or just name it something else if you want to make one smokier or sweeter), and for most people has horrible performance. This is the exact opposite. It’s priced well for how amazing it is, and how long it lasts! It is the same fragrance every single time you buy it, and it’s just a better fragrance overall. I like Aventus, but it has too many flaws and costs too much for it’s poor performance. I think of this as the adult version for a fragrance connoisseur, and Aventus is for pre pubescent high school boys.
And just to address some of these ridiculous reviews and really negative comments, just stop! It just makes you sound ignorant and like you have no idea what your talking about. Some of these people on here wasting their time trashing an amazing fragrance that is better then their precious Aventus, just crack me up. They remind of the goofballs that always want to say Apple products suck, haha. Saying this fragrance “smells absolutely nothing like Aventus. Not even a little bit.” Or “I guess some of you see pineapple, apple, and a few other similar notes and straight away claim AVENTUS!” And so many other “gems” just have me rolling on the floor laughing hysterically. I’m not even going to try to explain to these people or their insane claims or negative comments. For those of you here for a real review, this smells very much like Aventus, but is much better. Weather you admit that or not, is irrelevant. This IS very much like Aventus. FACT. If you don’t like it for some odd reason (even though you claim to love Aventus) that’s fine. But don’t try and mislead people because you are stuck on a fragrance that every single 16 yr old high schooler wears and worships. It’s just sad and takes away any credibility from your reviews.
If you like Aventus at all, and want to find a classy refined version of it, that lasts forever, and fear you’ll smell like every HS jock who thinks he “knows” fragrance because he owns Aventus and Paco Rabanne 1 million, then you will LOVE this and want to try it. Orion is the real deal and is a real gem! I was so happy when I finally found this and realized that it not only lasts on my skin (which Aventus doesn’t), but smells incredible, is much more refined, and for an adult. Top top warm weather fragrance and can even be worn in the evening because of the sexy middle and dry down.

For those who like Aventus this is the one. Tiziana has the habit of picking successful fragrances and twisting the notes to harmony and this fragrance is not an exception.
Projection and lasting is also very good.

If you like the opening of Orion, you will like Afnan Silver Supremacy. It is exactly that! I liked Afnan, but not that much. So gave it to my brother, who is not much into fragrances. Afnan was close to a “smokey” Aventus, and so is this. Orion does smooth out as it dries down and is more pleasing to the nose. Considering not much difference in the overall smell (for me) and performance, but a huge difference in price, i cannot recommend Orion over Afnan. They can do the same job. Its a pity, I was so looking forward to smell the vibrant pineapple that reviews were raving about. I should have gotten a sample or 10 ml first, rather than a 30 ml partial bottle. When will we all learn….:)
In general, I am overwhelmed by the number of Aventus clones in the market, and find them redundant. I am also starting to not like them anymore. I have a 30 ml decant of Aventus and find it the most preferred for occasional use.

A great fragrance that is inspired by Aventus.
This is not a clone and does things differently. This fragrance is more bases notes focuses in contrast with aventus , which is top note focused in my perception. This one starts off with a little lemon or citrus with the pineapple, but the opening is short lived and quickly moves to the heart. The smokiness comes through with some nutty nuances.
After a hour to an hour and a half the heart and majority of the fragrances comes through. Here you get some rounded, smooth jasmine that is blended with some smokiness and the pineapple under the surface.
Overall this is not a love for me , but I consider it a great unisex and casual Aventus with 8 plus hours of longevity and fair projection.
Women if you like Aventus and don’t like Aventus for her’s price tag or want something a little different , give this a go.
4/5 for me and great at discount prices.

So I finally tried this 1 at Harrods and was much surprised. It is certainly well documented by now that this is another one of the Niche Aventus clones but hold the phone – this one got it right! In fact, I feel personally this has the ‘Emperor’ well and truly beaten.
It’s brighter, not poppingly sugary-sweet but definitely sweeter than *any batch of Aventus I’ve tried, forget any ‘smoky’ dealings
Much more importantly, it really does help to convey the colour ‘Yellow’ to me for once instead of the ‘Green’ (strong, raw and woody) of the pineapple in even fruity batches of Aventus. So this was unexpected but very welcome. Because of it’s inherent strength, the fresh-bright fruitiness may even have Cedrat Boise topped!
Some of the stemmy greeness or just ‘cedar-yness’ is certainly there but with definitely a thick splash of slightly-sweet brightness on top of it to much soften the ‘blow’
The smoke comes down in a sort of foggy blanket later but on top it’s so bright and juicy, really wonderful and so much so that it really does take the sting out of the ‘double smoke’ combo in the note list and that I can definitely smell in the drydown after just about half an hour or so in.
As such, all that above turns this into a real Winner and a very nice surprise from this house, which I must admit I have been very disappointed with (Maremma, Lillipur), until now.
Wow. While Cedrat Boise is definitely less expensive, this is certainly much more stronger and that goes for the top notes as well as they really push through until the base despite the ashy vibes that can fall upon the fun during the mid.
The drydowns are the same. Cedrat Boise still keeps it’s 10 for being so outrageously priced for it’s Quality and downright glorious smell but this has to be considered as an option for someone who wants to keep that fun, tropical and ‘brite-Aventus’ vibe going into the winter(!)

Bought a decant and I’m so impressed. This is a unique scent for me, birch upfront and it’s the cedar, amber and oud that give it lasting power. Orion is incredibly transformative, taking you on a scent journey, with each stage presenting different notes. This is what niche perfume is all about, unusual but easy to wear.
I just love love love it. Completely full bottle worthy. 10/10

I have become such a fan of the house of Tiziana Terenzi that I kind of temporarily overlooked the fact that comparisons were made to Aventus and just blind bought it.
The cap of the bottle is really heavy, like solid metal and feels luxurious. I have been told that metal caps usually determine the high price of a fragrance and it could be true. The bottle feels weightless when you take the cap off to spray and you might get the feeling that you’re holding an empty bottle.
I like the fact that it is an extrait, even so if the concentration isn’t 30% of perfume from the classic range as compared to the 20% this luna range has. I have been told that the lower concentration is because of the use of precious materials and I can actually feel them.
Keeping the case point of Aventus in mind, this is a bit more refined, the ingredients used are of an exceptional quality. This actually feels like a real niche blend as opposed to Aventus. Performance is excellent and it even stays on the clothes for days on end.
I thought I could like something like Aventus but it does happen to be a dead ringer, actually better in structure with the added smokiness from birch from the older batches of Aventus. I do not hate Aventus, it’s just that citrus-based stuff turns acrid on my skin and I can’t enjoy this genre like other people do. I just don’t know how to make it work for me… It smelled great on a friend and it kills me to think, ‘Why not me?!?!’…. I think I need to retry when it’s warmer…

I tested this fragrance before and i wished to buy it. Today i bought and i am very pleased. I had aventus, micallef rv and afnan supremacy. If to compare all, i choose orion first then royal vintage. Even aventus is the most expensive among these, its not complex like rv and orion.

Instant thought- bergamont, cedar, green apple, and thyme.
The initial blast is strong but then slowly the dry down starts to creep up and everything starts dancing around in your senses and that thyme starts to evolve into a subdued patchouli, the cedar calms itself into a smoky birch. Of course there is the sweetness. not over powering at all.
never smelled Aventus- dont really want to after this. This gets a lot of complements and requires no more than 2 sprays- and thats pushing it.
Highly addictive stuff! I can understand how crackheads “jones” now- it’s all i can do when i wear this to have enough will power not to constantly smell myself

It has the Aventus vibe but in my opinion it developes differently. The silage and duration are amazing. If you have Aventus you can have Orion too since I dont think they are that similar. This one is a lot more brighter. If you don’t own Aventus you should consider Orion due to the price difference. Last thing to consider is that orion is an Extract de Parfum making it a best buy compared to Aventus.

Once again Paolo Terenzi knocks it out of the park. This has that Aventus on steroids vibe but being 30% by volume.. it projects for days!! I think the best way to describe it is just imagine a very Smokey batch of Aventus! Definitely not a clone cause i think Orion has its own thing going on. If you love Aventus, you’re going to really love this juice. Waiting on anther bottle now. Went tru the first bottle already!! LOVE IT!

Orion = Heavy Smoky batch of Aventus.
Longevity is very good like 12+ hours and the sillage is average. Use Aventus in the warmer days and this one in cold days(fall and winter).

Just received this, right of the top you get a smoky aventus tone which as we all know is lovely, then 1hr or so into it the fragrance is 90% in keeping with byredo oud immortel. To the untrained noise indistinguishable. After 2-3 hours aventus returns with that gorgeous dry down. Haven’t tested this enough but it’s longevity is very good and projection above average. I did a side by side test with oud immortel and both come and go on strength one minute immortel is stronger then next it’s orion. I do love Tiziana Terenzi house and Ursa is by far the best I have smelt. If I didn’t have oud immortel I’d be over the moon with this but with all the clones of aventus and that I have oud immortel it feels somewhat redundant. That aside still a wonderful fragrance which has numerous facets and transitions which most will find appealing.

Orion is like a smoking sweet birch, like a sour sweet birch with some balsamic, burning woods, and slight incense notes accompanies the sweet birch. The green apples shows up after few minutes but hidden behind the pineapple strong note. IT is quite complex but kind of pleasant to sniff.
