The British house of Soap & Glory is famous for their bodycare and skincare products as well as for cosmetics and accessories.
The latest product in their collection is fragrance called Original Pink. The perfume is a fresh fruity citrus that opens with of attractive, luminous notes of bergamot, lemon and orange leaf. The heart is alluring us with flavors of summer rose, peach, strawberry, gardenia blooms and jasmine. The whole composition closes with a warm trail of patchouli, amber and musk.
The perfume has been available in a charming silver flacon with pink letters, embellished with a bow ribbon on the neck. It can be purchased at the price of 19,31 EUR as 50 ml EDP since August 2013. The perfume is accompanying with a whole line of perfumed products, including: Body Butter, Creamy Clarifying Shower Gel, Body Polish, Bubble Bath, Body Lotion, Hydrating Hand Cream, Smoothing Body Scrub, Sun Powder Spray, Antibacterial Hand Gel and Fragranced Shimmer Lotion – all packed in adorable pink packaging.

I really like how this strikes a perfect balance between fresh/clean, mild rose and very very subtle sweet.
What you gotta keep in mind is, that this scent was not created to be a perfume initially but as a signature scent of a body care line (which i ADORED in my mid to late 20’s).
So when wearing it I never really thought of it as ‘wearing a perfume’ but more as a way to extend the longevity of the shower gel’s and body butter’s smell.
It’s lovely, feminine and clean smelling, but I wouldn’t expect anyone to compliment me on my perfume when wearing it. It’s really more like you’re wearing a very nicely scented lotion.
When I still had it I loved it most for spring or early fall weather (15-20 Celsius/ 60-70 Fahrenheit) for situations where an actual perfume would be too much (going to school or to some appointment).
It makes you smell super fresh and clean but with that subtle extra touch of soft femininity.

I just bought the body spray formulation of this fragrance because I had heard about the similarities to Miss Dior EDP (2012) and Miss Dior Cherie. I haven’t sampled the actual EDP formulation of Original Pink, but I’ve heard that the body spray smells the same. I also have not tried the original Miss Dior Cherie, but I’m interested.
As far as similarities go, this fragrance smells a little like Miss Dior EDP, but definitely not identical. The initial spray smells almost the same, but the drydown, at least in my opinion, is different (Which I expected, I didn’t think that the two would smell exactly the same). Original Pink is fresher and tangier, whereas MD EDP is more spicy and floral. Original Pink makes me think of bubbly strawberry champagne with rose petals and patchouli. I expected it to be too sweet, but it’s perfectly pleasant and has just the right amount of fruity-floral sweetness. Feminine and delicious.

This smells similar to many like miss Dior toilette, blooming and Versace crystal.
I only like the opening it’s very juicy and has lovely crisp patchouli.
The strawberry in this is strong and synthetic which is abit too much for me. Other than that it’s very cute and feminine.

To me it’s a great cross between miss dior and versace bright crystal. The body spray as well. I like it’s fresh tartness. Makes me feel VERY girly.

I have done to this, what I have done to the original agent provocateur bottle and maddonna truth or dare bottle…. I scratched a line down the back of these bottles (it’s just paint after all) so I can see where my perfume is up to. It is a clear coloured liquid.(maddonna truth or dare was a very orange liquid abd agent provocateur was a browny yellow)Lol. I hate not knowing how much I have left. A good perfume. It is more tart/tangy than miss dior cherie even if it is a bit similar. But this can get a bit cloying if oversprayed whereas mdc just wafts around inoffensively.

This smells like bathroom cleaner, probably because of the strong lime note. It’s terrible.
And ladies & gents, thanks to your reviews I now know to avoid Miss Dior/Cherie as well. Not for me!

I was very apprehensive about buying this when I was at Boots because there wasn’t a sample, I am also currently desperate to get Miss Dior Eau De Parfum.
One of my main concerns was that it was going to smell cheap. When I first tested it, it smelt very sweet. However on a second try, it smelt a lot better. I am not too impressed with the packaging of the perfume itself. The metal feels cheap, and I dislike not being able to see how much is left.
With that said, it is good as a cheap alternative for Miss Dior. I am looking forward to buying Miss Dior sometime in the future, so I won’t be repurchasing this perfume as it stands.

Metallic silver bottle with baby pink letters and chic ribbon. How cute! It’s modern but has vintage vibe in it.
For the scent, I agreed that it’s similar to Miss Dior Cherie. That’s because they have strawberry, patchouli and rose in common. However I think there are some differences. Original Pink smell more girly with juicy bergarmot scent while Miss Dior Cherie is deeper and more mature.
Unfortunately, it lasts only 1-2 hours on my skin so I have to bring it with me to re-spray among the day. :/

Only 1 drawback. Not impressed with the patchouli drydown – which almost smells like sage? That just killed it for me. Oddly enough, I do not note it at all in Girligo – the moisturizing body spray which is identical in scent to the Righteous Butter. Unfortunately Girligo is a light lotion spray, not just fragrance.
S & G has finally made a body spray available in Original Pink which I can spray on myself, in my hair, and on my clothing if I desire. Just ordered, cannot wait to try 🙂
As far as it being like Miss Dior Cherie, I have to disagree. While Original Pink may contain some of the fragrance notes that Cherie also does, they are nothing alike.
Original Pink: Light, fresh, flirty, alluring, slightly sweet (not sticky sweet or powdery), floral. Pleasing to the senses and suitable for any occasion.
Miss Dior Cherie: Sultry, deep. Floral, powdery undertones, hint of sweetness. Well suited to more formal occasions or ? Overbearing on me. But fragrances do smell differently on each who wears them…

I bought this for my mother-in-law because she likes retro-chic stuff, the Soap and Glory line has cool looking 1950s glamor packaging but, when I visiting her I actually used the lotion and I really loved the smell. I wish I could steal it back from her because Target no longer sells this line 🙁
Its clean, very girlie fresh and a little candy confection. It reminds me of Jayne Mansfield !
I will definitely order the lotion online maybe the perfume, I wish I knew what kind of lasting power it has. Anyway if you love retro stuff you will like this scent and probably most of this line.

I definitely need to try and smell Miss Dior Cherie as I heard it is similar to this. So far I really like this scent. After a few minutes it really settled onto my skin and radiated a lovely slightly sweet fruity rose scent. Not sickly sweet its very fresh actually.

I bought this after reading the reviews and it does smell like Miss Dior, except a little sweeter. It isn’t as strong, nor does it last as long, but still a good buy. The packaging is cute!

I bought this fragrance from Boots cuz’ I love many products of Soap&Glory.
This fragrance does not last for long and there’s no sillage on my skin.
I would love it if it’s EDP.

Am I honestly the only one who didn’t smell the patch at all???!!! I normally cannot stand patch in any capacity when it comes to my fragrances but this one is quite sneaky. Even if I have no idea that a certain frag has patchouli in it I’ll know as soon as I sniff it, but not with this! I have to say I’m disappointed in my inability to recognize my most disliked note.

The description sounded nice but it’s just the usual average fresh-fruity scent that you can expect from usual skincare products.

Had a chance to sample at Sephora since I had heard of the similarities to Miss Dior Cherrie and I can say that there are similar not identical. . For very little money this can be purchased along with the body products. Would like to purchase in the future.
