Hi,
I also bought it a blind moment. 😀 As others said it before, the grapefruit makes this EDP(?) very bright, uplifting.
But the best part of it is the smoke that makes it sexy and seductive, and that smoke mixing with the grapefruit is just delicious. It does not perform well in cold weather so it definitely is a summer scent. In heat it makes me feel like a fruit basket that someone set on fire 😀 I would change the name to “Citrus on Fire” or….”Ashes of a Grapefruit”.
Also it is totally unisex frag. But to me every frag is unisex.
I am not really sure if they should label it as a EDP…
Scent: 10/10
Longevity: 3-4 hours
Sillage: Moderate.
Overall: 7/10

I agreed with the TdH comparison because it is apparent but please don’t make the mistake of thinking it’s a clone or in any way completely identical because it isn’t. The citrus is sharper opening with a positive grapefruit rather than orange, the earthy woods is supplied by a powerful, balsamic, oud note which is quite clean and somehow similar to the vetiver of the Hermes. This fragrance is clean, of decent quality and has superb performance with the citrus lasting a long time. I blind bought it a few years back and I’m still impressed by it.

I blind bought this fragrance at a discounter for far below the 120 euro RRP. The grapefruit makes this quite a bright oud, with linear development. I could not detect any leather, or much of the birch note – I was hoping for a darker, smokey oud. Performance was nothing special, considering it is meant to be an EDP. All in all, an average purchase if you like the grapefruit/oud combo, but not worth the inflated RRP.
Update: I have just received a sample of Terre de Hermes, and this is pretty similar!
