One of the few lavender scents I can (Stop. “could”. It’s discontinued. Damn, L’Occitane why did you do that to me?) put on my skin without thinking I smell like an air freshener.
Beautifully blended aroma of lavender and…. hmmm, meadow full of flowers. There’s nothing harsh about it and it’s not cologne-like smell, I’ve noticed a lot of people were quite surprised when I told them it’s lavender perfume.

This was a PERFECT mild eco-organic smell for relaxation and meditation.
This was the feminine side of lavender, softened by light sweetness of drying grass and wildflowers.
This was a piece of blossoming summer field with grasshoppers crick-cracking aroung me, in the middle of a megalopolis

This lavender has a metallic note for me. It does make a nice linen spray, and it is also very useful to spray on things I don’t want the dog to chew.

No surprises here: L’Occitane ORGANIC CERTIFIED LAVENDER FRAGRANCE smells *exactly* like the box of organic lavender flowers that I bought for culinary purposes. No more, no less. My 100ml bottle was half price, so it cost a small fraction of a bottle of Penhaligon LAVANDULA or Guerlain LAVANDE VELOURS, both of which are better, more complex perfumes with vastly superior longevity.
At this price, however, L’Occitane has delivered on its rather modest promise: a light, organic lavender fragrance!

This is a very nice, clean, fresh lavender. Simple and straightforward, not alot of complexity to it. The description says this is a powdery lavender, but I get firm woods at the base – cedar? This would make a very good linen spray. As Noelia said, not synthetic, very natural, like lavender water. Not too much strength, fabulous for a hot summer day.
