An inexpensive lovely sweet floral with some depth from orchid, iris, woods and musk. Great summer pick me up.

I purchased this after smelling it several times and wanting it for awhile. Here in the US, it was $30 at Lewis Ginter’s gift shop in VA. At first I loved this. I had spritzed it and walked around with it and was sure I wanted it.
Only months later, however, it has such a strong sweetness to me that it smells cloying and fake. I still like it in the bottle, so maybe it’s my chemistry???? If anyone has any suggestions to tone down the cloying sweetness, I’d love to hear because there is something enchanting about this scent.
edit: 9.3.17 This is one that my husband likes. He’s the kind of guy that rarely notices what I’m wearing or notices my hair and makeup, after a full day at work but he likes this and Sirene when I wear it. Good enough reason to keep it around!

It’s soo powdery and so beautiful. The sillage is strong and the longevity is great for the price. On me it’s pure orchid and iris, it really smells like a luxurious vintage make up. Lovely for cool nights. One of the best fragrances by Bronnley so far. And yes, it’s true, it really smells like Giorgio Beverly hills.

So vintage… And powder soft. Just the right amount of sweetness. There a so many good fragrances that perform better than niche. This is one of them.

Well, I think this is pretty good, especially considering you can currently buy 50ml EdT for £5.99 here in the UK. Bronnley fragrances, being deeply old-fashioned and untrendy in the popular perception, offer remarkable value for money.
So as others have remarked this EdT packs quite a punch. The opening is bright and arresting – as well as the expected citrus I got quite a strong raspberry note, which was enjoyable but left me worried that I was in for yet another fruity-floral.
However it soon settles down into a good strong white floral. Somewhat sweet but not unpleasantly so. I’m actually not familiar with what “orchid” smells like, which was one of my reasons for getting this in the first place – I’m trying to expand my knowledge of various flower notes. I’m certainly getting a flower that I’m not familiar with so this must be orchid. I like!
Something I struggle with is the synthetic note found in virtually all modern fragrances (unless you’re going to pay $$$$ for niche offerings, it seems hard to avoid). But this is, relatively speaking, quite natural-smelling to me, so a big plus there.
All in all I think this is good, and very good considering the price. If you like strong white florals I consider this a safe blind buy.

It is rather strong for an EDT and that is always a lovely plus for most perfumistas. I would not personally use this particular floral in summer but for those who love orchids, perhaps seasons become irrelevant! I know I don’t care about seasons when it comes to my most loved fragrances 🙂
To my mind this smells exactly like the opening notes of Oleg Cassini’s ‘Cassini’ even though according to the database, Cassini does not share the orchid note!!

I seem to have acquired a sudden something for orchid 🙂 I got this a while ago and I’m very glad I did. The drydown is orchid and lots of powder to me. It’s refreshing and simple. But dont be fooled by that washed out looking packaging, and go thinking it isnt strong, because, surprisingly, it is. One spray on my elbow, and I can smell it through my jacket! That’s really something for an EDT.
I enjoy this one.

Anybody that tries to stamp Bronnley’s Orchid with an ‘old lady’ tag, is going to have to deal with me first. If you like orchids, powder and/or sweet florals, regardless of your age, this inexpensive and beautiful fragrance does it all. I am quite flabbergasted by how glorious this smells on my skin.
I spritzed on Bronnley Orchid following my morning shower and was amazed firstly by the strong opening followed by a wave of sweet and fresh florals. The powdery aspect comes into play during the heart, which really impressed me with its femininity and somewhat sensual nature.
The scent is mostly clean, however there is a subtle hint of playfulness throughout the composition which keeps you on your toes. Perhaps Bronnley Orchid suits my skin chemistry perfectly, and it may indeed wreak havoc on others. Either way it’s worth trying just to see how it fairs on your own skin. May you all be as lucky and enchanted as I was by Bronnley Orchid.
Orchids quite often feature in gourmands, and I can see why. These stunning flowers come bearing a sweet and luscious smell, that even on its own smells delightful and foody. Other than orchid featuring in this composition, ylang ylang, jasmine and rose add some extra floral dimension and character to the already beautiful blend. These notes can smell buttery at times.
The drydown is smooth and sensual with the tiniest hint of creamy vanilla lingering softly in the background. Thankfully Bronnley Orchid lasts on the skin a great deal longer than I thought it would. I am also pleased to say that the sillage is equally as impressive. I whole-heartedly recommend this amazing perfume.

I’m sorry to say that this was a scrubber for me. The opening is extremely strong indeed – too strong for me. Sillage is great and so is the staying power to be fair, so if this agrees with you you have a great value fragrance, but on me this turned sour very very fast and really did not smell like orchid. The dry down though smelled just like tuberose to me.

As the name suggests, this is a distinct smell of orchid. The strength being amazing, as well as the longevity. I find it pretty mature – this surely is part of orchid’s nature.
As I mentioned in another review, I easily get bored with mono-aromatic scents so I was happy with the small amount I used. 2 or 3 sprays were well enough for the whole day.
