Wow! The lasting power is actually good but that’s not what anybody’s looking for with Demeter anyway. The woodsy Popsicle stick note adds a nice depth and it smells EXACTLY like summer. What a cool novel concept. Can’t wait to get the shower gel or body lotion.
For cremesicle junkies: I’ve also read Weleda’s Sea Buckthorn line smells just like the real thing, too.

My very first Demeter! I got it when Sephora used to sell it. I liked it a lot and wore it almost everyday. Sometimes I got a bit tired of the wood popsicle stick element, but this was an absolute HG for me. I could see myself getting this again for nostalgia.

Sometimes when I wear this I feel like I’ve smeared myself in orange marmelade. Can’t have that! Haven’t got any comments about it, but it sure smells something edible you have gotten on Your clothes. I do not want to smell like that, I’ve found out. Its too sugary and lacks the freshness of the Orange.
I have the perfume oil, dont know if it makes any difference

The top notes are very refreshing, like the zest and juice of a very ripe orange, for about 3 minutes I can discern the orange and the vanilla ice cream. After this very short period I am left with a very sweet almost “glaceé” scent. Imagine you mix a cup of powdered sugar with a bit of milk,a spoon of vanilla extract and some drops of orange juice, it is very close to the skin but thick and sticky. I like it, but I wish it could retain more of the initial orange goodness. Poor longevity, maybe 45 minutes before it is totally gone. I can’t smell any woody notes, but the vanilla seems leathery like an old vanilla pod.

This is a DEAD RINGER for Orange Creamsicles.
(for anyone who doesn’t know what that is – it would be a creamy orange sherbert wrapped around a thick vanilla ice cream on a stick)
The scent is a sweet orange and creamy dreamy sweet vanilla and it is really nice. I love it.
I don’t get any “stick” or woody notes in it this – just orange, vanilla, creamy, sweet. That is all.
Longevity is not so great on this one, maybe 3 or 4 hours before its a skin scent and that is if you spray about 4 times on each arm too. 120 mL for $17-$40 depending on where you find it online is not bad tho, and I don’t mind reapplying. Spray on your clothes you will get a bit more longevity out of it.
I have a few other sweet orange blossom scents and this is a GREAT addition, and fun. I can’t stop smelling myself all the time.

I love how this smells in the beginning! Exactly like a creamsicle. Unfortunatly, unlike the reveiwer below, I dislike the wooden “popsicle stick” aspect.
On another note, it leaves a greasy layer wherever I spray it, so I only put it on my wrists, where I can wash it off easily.

I feel like the orange might be a bit too sour to start with for a creamsicle but it calms down quickly enough. Then it does smell like vanilla ice cream with orange sherbet on top. Doesn’t last well but is good in the morning for a pick me up.

This fragrance really does smell like the real thing. You may ask yourself – why would I want to smell like an Orange Cream Pop? If you think about it – it is the scent of orange and vanilla – what’s not to like? This is true to the Orange Cream Pop right down to the stick. You will actually get a sense of the wooden stick – in a good way – it’s just there in the background. Some say this doesn’t stick around long on the body – but it is supposed to be light. That said, I find it sticks around a couple hours or so on me – ALSO, if you do like this scent – try the body oil! It’s only 15.00 and you can use it (per label) as a perfume on pulse points…or as a body oil…and I can smell this scent the next morning when I layer it this way. I also love Demeter Caramel Spray and Body oil!

Wow .. If you close your eyes while smelling this scent–your mouth will water. It smells just like the real orange creamsicle.
