Introvabile purtroppo -.-‘
Mi piacerebbe davvero averlo.

No problem Gesch, I am not that fan of Noa myself, but this beauty really does it for me!
Everyone entitled to their own taste for sure!!
Cheers!

Oh dear, I hope Action and Olga aren’t going to scalp me but this didn’t do anything for me 😉
It is somewhat close to NOA as Action suggested, it has a classy and refined formula like Olga praises. But I can’t enjoy it. It is slightly more interesting then NOA because of the Basil and Anise. Fear not: these notes are just byplayers and roughen up the otherwise alabaster-theme of this fragrance. ANd that is what I miss: this fragrance conjures up an image of a perfect alabaster-statuesque female with perfect and otherworldly features with no edges and faults. It is a clean but not soapy smell with enough musk, amber and flowers to make it a perfectly composed fragrance. But I just don’t enjoy it – the same as I don’t enjoy NOA, NR Essence or Her, neither could I appreciate Vie Privée Vintage, which is smooth high flowers but is the same alabaster-image in my mind.

I agree with Artsymom!! The coffee note is somewhere here for sure! That’s why I have always considered it a mature version of NOA: Musk + Coffee!!

What a great surprise (thanks, Weegee)!
Light & fresh, yet contains a warmth that some “fresh” smelling scents lack. It’s just pleasing and very different from a lot of the current perfumes. It’s clean without smelling soapy- a very comforting skin scent. It reminds me of how my first love smelled.
Because there is nothing overtly feminine about this scent to my nose, I can imagine some men being able to wear this too. And that’s not to say it’s masculine smelling either.
All of the notes are extremely well-blended; nothing is screaming out at me, but I do detect:
tonka, herbs and a bit of apple
Bonus- doesn’t bother my daughter’s allergies or trigger my sinus headaches.
EDIT: I just noticed an undertone of COFFEE! love it

ahhhh… love this such an amazing scent and i love the mens edition too very modern and doesn’t smells like axe or other cheap mens cologne, and please fragrantica include the opera III for mens on the list, so i can add that to my “i have it” list (:

Gillie, Thank you so much for my back up bottle of Opera! I guess ” one man’s junk” expression applies to perfumes too. LOL
Manya14 – :
That would be very wise Olga!! Should I have known that Byzance by Rochas would go COMPLETELY insane in the price, I would have bought TONS of it. Now I only have 2 bottles of that one. I suspect Opera being such a perfume too. When they will be all sold, it will become a typical hard to get and it will never be this good priced again!

Action, I like it so much, I am almost afraid to use it too often. I’d better get an extra bottle while it is still cheap and stop being stingy with it!

Olga, I cannot believe it myself why people are not buying themselves CRAZY on this one! This is a real masterpiece and indeed not your typical Capucci scream perfume but very creamy and flowery, like they improved NOA. I think this masterpiece is EXACTLY what NOA should have been.
LOVELY!!
pyshnoi – :
If you expect the the boldness and dramatic impression of Capucci de Capucci, you will get none of that in Opera. Opera is entirely different Capucci: soft, elegant, but just as unique. To me it is as woody as can be…the warm kind of woodiness with a hint of sweetness. I think the notes are in perfect balance, love the mixture of carnation, rose and citrus. Even though it is a soft fragrance, it has the same Capucci quality, great sillage and will linger on the skin for hours. On me it stays for 7 hours easily, which is pretty impressive for EDT.
I think it is very refined and unique, not just another ordinary nice casual scent, although it is suitable for any occasion all year around. The only thing that doesn’t make much sense is the name.
I really enjoy it and consider it one of my most successful blind buys, especially considering the quality to price ratio.

Oh my, this is so wonderful….just got it and already thinking of a backup bottle. Nobody even tried it except Action? What’s wrong with people!
If it’s any reassurance,it is still available on Ebay for only $20 for a large bottle. So go and grab it!
Will write a detailed review later.

I can’t believe my review is still the only one here!! I know of so many that love this one! For example ChatLunatique, Persephone, so ladies I hear it is available in the states for a great price! Buy it before the stock has run out!

OH my god!!!! You NOA lovers, this one is a MUST MUST have for you!!
