A hot, sweetened and steamed “pick-me-up” of a fragrance for chunky-knit sweater weather and those humdrum days that demand your tea zigzagged with condensed milk, fired by spices and crowned with chocolate shavings. This will make you curl like a filled-belly kitten in a warm corner as it captures into scent the cozy comfort of reading a really good book by the fireplace during a rainy day in autumn, warmed by hot sips of tea here and there, even if you don’t like autumn, or rainy days, or fireplaces, or reading or tea.

Relaxed, unisex, inviting and welcoming. Creamy and smooth spicy goodness, great for any occasion.
    Worth a try by anyone.

I love love the smell of this perfume , it reminds me of Versace eros toilette. Unfortunately it is not long lasting, I sprayed it on me and after two hours I couldn’t smell it anymore 🙁 what a waste for such a beautiful fragrance

OMNIA is a sultry warm sensual fragrance to me it’s like a journey to India, unlike anything I’ve ever tried what a shame they discontinued this beast of a fragrance…
To me this is about Ginger cardamom, masala chai infused
with spices and white chocolate warms up with the nutmeg saffron and cinnamon just beautiful!
Sex in a bottle and a journey to INDIA!

The most ‘Indian Summer’ radiating perfume I’ve ever smelled! The well blended spicy notes evoke pictures of turning leaves under warm autumn sunshine. Beautiful!

I agree with AnnabellLee’s opinion below, the top and middle notes of all the Omnia fragrances are different but all have the same basis. The original Omnia is spicy in the beginning, smells like chai masala, but ultimately has the same basic notes as the Omnia Crystalline I have. At the base, you can not distinguish them. However, it is a wonderful fragrance and is on the list of perfumes I want.
Very good longevity but delicate sillage.

Find this in local store, it still has a lot stocks of old perfumes. I got a 60ml bottle only for 33bucks, i bought it in a second without smelled it before. And i don’t regret it.. The scent is awesome very rich and clean. Why the hell they discontinued all the treasure, like this n BLV Woman. But thank God i still have them.

After reading so many amazing reviews and seeing this perfume suggested several times under a list of the best creamy/spicy scents, I decided to blind buy a tiny bottle from eBay with high hopes and expectations.
I really thought that this would be my signature scent based on the notes, descriptions, and reviews.
First thoughts? Soapy. Masculine. Medicinal. No detectable creaminess or sweetness anywhere. I totally see where another review felt it smelled like a veterinary hospital. Maybe we both got a bad/expired batch.
I really thought that maybe I was crazy, but my husband said that I smell like axe body spray, so I’m pretty confident in my olfactory assessment of it.
    Onto the next…
UPDATE: I can still faintly smell it on my wrists the next day, and it has lost all of its masculine/medicinal qualities, leaving behind a pleasant creamy sweetness, but sits SO close to the skin it is hardly detectable at all!

I don’t know if I got a bad batch, but this smells really bad on me.
Almost like a lotion soap smell with little spice.
Sort of milky in a way as well.
It reminds me of a veterinary office, and I can’t shake the scent.
I’ll try give it another chance.

I have to add, I think all the Omnias I’ve smelled have different top and middle notes but the same clean, almost crystal like base notes. Someone asked, just my opinion.

This is very pretty, not deep or resinous like most orientals, a little spicy but delicately so. I get a chai tea, not milky but more clean. It has the underlying base all the Omnia line have it you’re familiar with them, I’m a fan of them and this one is a nice cold weather addition to Omni a Green Jade or Omnia Crystalline.

I didn’t expect much from this fragrance and I’m really happy I was wrong.
The opening is spicy thanks to ginger and pepper, the scent changes quickly after the drydown into something so comforting and nourishing.
I get lots of milky tea with woodsy notes, sweetened by white chocolate and spiced up by cinnamon. All together The perfume is not heavily sweet at all. It just really makes me sniff my hand all over again.
It’s absolutely unique gourmand oriental that is warm, quite deep and also sensual.
I put it on my love list for sure.

When I relate fragrances to food, some perfumes are like sticky, delectable pastries while others are technical feats of complex gastronomy. Omnia is like a simple, nourishing oatmeal breakfast on a Sunday morning; a breakfast built upon an ascetic base of sandalwood floating in milk, lightly seasoned with sugar and spice and served with tea. It is by no means a powerful or bracing scent and what some may find boring or weak, others will find languorous and relaxed.

Can anyone explain why Blvgari named so many perfumes Omnia when they are nothing a like?

What a true pleasure it is to wear Omnia. Warm, sweet, milky spices envelop you like a warm blanket in front of a fireplace. It’s true that the sillage is mild, but I like to keep this for days in when the weather is cool. Omnia is my sensual little gem that I save for myself and my love, and that makes it even more special than one that I wear out daily.
It will always hold a special spot with me and I will always have a bottle.

My mother gave me a sample of this perfume when she got given a few samples in with an online auction she had won and I fell in love with it in in an instant. I then realised here in New Zealand it was going to be very difficult for me to find it as it was no longer being sold so when a friend came out from England he asked me what kind of perfume I wanted it had to be this one. Sadly he could not get it either but ended up settling on Bvlgari’s Omnia Coral which is very different to this one. This is the very first Omnia and it’s very sad it’s not around much. To me it reminds me of a delicious cup of Chai tea – Warm, spicy and has all the same ingredients the tea does. This week my prayer was answered when I saw one bottle in a store and I knew that I would not see it again. It’s the smaller 1.3 oz bottle but it’s ok as I have it until it finishes and maybe by then it might be found again. It’s a must for those who like a bit of spice and all things that are like a good chai. Cardamom is right up there. Delicious!

Exactly what people say, the scent is practically if not literally NON EXISTENT! Which oddly, I find, to be part of the charm! But at the same time, need to take off points. Other than this this’d be the ideal scent, or maybe, BECAUSE of this ;). It’s autumn and I wear this everywhere for everything. Including Human Anatomy & Physiology class and LAB in which my usual Chanels and Chantecailles would probably be too much for. The plan is to run out this semester, before winter, and then never repurchase.
Wore late Fall ’17 and yes, it’s sO easy to wear, every day. It’s elegant &
as stated before the fact that this disappears comes with the pleasure of
having to spray liberally and reapply often. It is such a pleasure seeing
the juice go down as it lessens inside the brown plastic bottle, as visions
of getting rid of the bottle come in to play ;D. nO compliments, but I don’t
need them. I just figure nO one smells anything lol. 100% appropriate for
fall and fall only. Summer it turns into an ugly sweaty carnal thing that it’s
just was not intended to be, and defies the “BVLGARI” brand. mY plan to
wear this daily isn’t happening because as the liquid lessens I get into save
mode :-), seeing as how hard to get this is nowadays & expensive. *Goes
to change this review from ‘like’ to ‘love’. Winter this will be underwhelming
I would think (I’d never consider it for Winter) and Spring won’t work unless
it’s an extra crispy day, toward the end perhaps. Works well during Daylight
    Savings times IMO.

Many warm perfumes are a little old fashioned. This one is very modern! It’s young but comforting at the same time like a hip coffee shop would be. There’s a creamyness in the background and I love how the spices mix together. It reminds me of Indian sweets in a good way. This scent makes me want to hug people and invite them over. The notes don’t blend into the scent of my skin but they don’t need to. They’re wonderful the way they are.

  21. :

Spicy, warm and fresh at the same time. This seems to be the perfect autumn day scent. However it is very weak and disappears from clothes and skin within 2 hours. Need to spray alot to get any sort of effect.
My bottle is the November 2015 batch, the one you can find in limited quantities online for ridiculous prices. This would be a love for me if it had lasting power. I usually like fragrances other people call weak, but this is literally non-existing, like an eau de cologne. Sad, since it is a truly unique scent.
As for the Omnia bottles, while slightly clumsy I find them to be beautiful.

Super big love for this spiced oriental. Some days it is more floral and spiced and milky, other days it is more peppery and oriental…it is lovely on hot summer days. A milky, spiced sweet oriental floral. It also has a huge tropical feel…not the fruity cocktail vibe, but the spiced, creamy almost coconut-y cardamom and gardenia. I blazed through my 40ml bottle on holiday. I don’t really get the chai tea thing because it comes across as quite woody in the drydown…I do wish it was louder than a skinscent, but lotsa sprays seem to keep me happy with the sillage…definite re-buy…

I don’t mean to offend those who are fans of this perfume, but the first thought that came to my mind on spraying it was cat pee. Maybe we’re just not compatible. Luckily the scent only lasts for about 15 minutes and then it’s gone. I’m glad I got a sample before deciding to get a bottle. This is a no go for me, and I really wanted to love it, the notes on here are so me. Dissapointed.

This is a beauty! My favorite scents are exotic, perfumes that can transport me to a far away exotic land with one whiff. My other favorite type of scent, is a warm, cozy security blanket that envelops and comforts me. Omnia is the best of both worlds it’s full of all my very favorite exotic notes (cardamom, cinnamon, saffron, ginger, nutmeg) yet has many of my favorite “comfort” notes as well (sandal, tonka, almond) so Omnia has the distinction of being exotic AND comforting. I absolutely adore it, the only downside is that it is very low silage and skin close 🙁

This is the kind of fragrance that can lead me to a million memories. When Bulgari released it, I was living abroad for the first year, and my mom gave it to me as a gift when she came to visit me. It made me so so happy! I was a teenager that time, and I must admit that this is definitely not a teen fragrance, but I was crazy about perfumes already. I remember going into this small fragrance store after school, which was near my house, and asking the saleswoman to spray a little bit on my wrist so I could smell it through the whole day. I loved the scent. It is light, but different from everything I have today – and fortunately I found one, which is actually a tester, but still 65ml full for my delight! It has a very delicate citrusy note and it evolves to the same scent but mixed with incense – not smoky, never!- and somewhat spicy. I smell ginger and cinnamon in the middle notes. Then I can smell nutmeg and sandalwood, and also, lemon until it wears off. For sure a fragrance I wear to make myself happy, it takes me back to my teen years and how ecstatic I felt the day my mom gave me one…It was discontinued but you can find some in tester bottles yet. Soft silage, it lasts for 8h on my skin. Lovely and remarkable fragrance. Nothing alike the other Omnias- to me this will always be the ‘real’ one.

Another good one that got discontinued.
The pillar-fragrance of the whole line which name means “omnipresence”, in the container which was made so unpractical so that it could present the message of “everlasting” by imitating infinity sign – got terminated.
    Wow.
That’s the irony. That’s the Industry.
The prices on e-bay are slowly going up, but it can still be occasionally found in stores. Last week I had luck to notice it on the clearance sale, and I bought it for a bargain (cca 15 $).
I never liked Omnia bottles, but I remembered that I liked this scent, and that this Omnia – the first one – was in fact the only Omnia among all that followed that I liked enough to buy a bottle. I don’t recall why I never repurchased it.
When I tried it, after maybe a decade of ignoring it in stores, I was more than pleasantly surprised by once known, loved and then unreasonably neglected scent, and suddenly it hit me that I didn’t meet any similar fagrance ever since.
    So:
Omnia is elegant, descrete, soft and light perfume: mildly spicy, mostly woody, nutty and creamy and, by today’s standards, not sweet.
Woods dominate, but the combination of spices and nutty-lactonic notes makes it… oh!
I should have known better. Well, now I know better.
It is the middle of May, and at 8 in the morning there is already 21 degree of celsius outside. As day goes by it will only become warmer.
I wore Omnia yesterday (the weather was the same) and it was not even slightly heavy. Instead of dense or heavy performance which the notes, the group (oriental), even the coulour of the flacon, might suggest, Omnia performed as soft, woody-creamy refreshing scent.
    So nice.
    *love
*silage: soft / moderate (up to arms lenght, if generously applied)
*longevity: moderate (up to 5 hours)
*discontinued (still available, but prices are going up)
    * weather/season: All year round, except in summer heat (+30 C). I wear it in late summer til autumn becomes too cold. Casual to formal. Day. Night.

I bought a bottle of Omnia this afternoon – it wasn’t what I went to the store for, but c’est la vie. It came home with me!
I had this unique beauty when it first came out many moons ago and I loved it then. It was so different from anything else, and still is. I agree with another reviewer that this is by far the best of the bunch compared with all its flankers.
Omnia is not a sillage monster, but for me the fact that it’s a quieter fragrance works so beautifully with the scent itself. There’s no need for an assault on the senses of any kind here. It’s understated and modest even though it’s such an incredible fragrance. It’s smooth and soft and languid and almost spiritual, but also confident and not exactly funky or hip but stylish in a maverick kind of way. Like one of those people you meet occasionally who never seem to toot their own horn but are so comfortable in their own skin and with their own unique style that you can’t help but be drawn to them. Omnia is like that for me. I can’t even begin to describe the notes in it, they just seems to meld together to create this ensemble of creamy woody slightly spicy almost tribal magic. And the drydown is so soft and soothing.
It’s more of a close-wearing scent but longevity is pretty good. I put on literally a small dribble in the store this afternoon, and now some 6 hours later, the scent is still there. It’s soft and smooth but still more than a mere skin scent.
Before I jumped onto Fragrantica tonight to check it out, I wasn’t sure what perfume group Omnia would have been assigned to and I suppose Oriental is as good as any. There’s nothing of the gourmand in this for me but there is a subtle sweetness mostly from the woods I think and perhaps the tonka. Actually Omnia in general is quite subtle but in no way is it lacking character or style. IMO this fragrance is one of a kind and we all know that that’s fast becoming a very rare thing these days. This one is truly a gorgeous and unique gem.
And now for a strange happening that I stumbled upon today. I discovered that Omnia (particularly in the drydown stages) and….wait for it….Giorgio Beverly Hills (yep, that one) actually compliment each other quite nicely. There seems to be some common element in them (who knows what?!) which gives the Giorgio a really lovely sense of grounding and the Omnia a bit of a lift. Happily, I bought both today!
EDIT: I just want to add that when I wrote my review last night, I put another squirt onto my hand from my new bottle and then soon after went to bed, at about 11pm. It’s now 8am and when I woke I sniffed my arms and hands and the only scent remaining was Omnia….a skin scent certainly but most definitely still very present. No problem with longevity then!

  28. :

    5 out of 5

An addition to my review below:
My only gripes are the following:
Even though my skin usually amps up perfume, Omnia’s sillage is soft and the longevity is only moderate (4-6 hours, instead of the usual 8-12+). If your skin eats up fragrance, be warned that on you Omnia could disappear in a flash.
Also, the bottle is terrible. It’s clunky, the spray mechanism is unreliable and unpredictable (sometimes it drizzles, sometimes it sprays), and hard to aim. It has no cap so I’m afraid the perfume will oxidize or evaporate.
Furthermore, the bottle was dated and ugly even when they launched it. I remember seeing it in the stores and categorically dismissing it because of the unappealing bottle.
The juice is beautiful, the bottle not so much.

  29. :

    4 out of 5

A quiet, herbal/spicy, woody oriental, not overpowering or gourmandy at all, despite the notes.
There’s a fleeting flash of mandarin at the top, and the mid notes are fennel flower* and cardamom, with a hint of pepper and saffron. The base is lactonic sandalwood, very creamy and soft.
Like others have already stated, Omnia doesn’t really smell like chai, rather than an abstract concept of chai, and the white chocolate is also stylized rather than realistic. Since I’m not a big fan of gourmands, I like the conceptual versions better than realistic ones, but YMMV.
If Omnia agrees with your skin chemistry, it’s an easily wearable and comforting daytime fragrance. It doesn’t smell particularily “feminine” or “masculine”, so I’d imagine people of all genders could wear this comfortably.
A solid like, bordering on love.
    4/5 stars.
*I know fennel is not in the official description, but the note is unmistakeable… and quite lovely.

    Sweet and inviting.
    Will be getting her another.
I don’t care if she likes it or not.
    I love it on her.
It reminds me of something from the past.
    But i can’t remember what.
    2.2 Oz Bottle for $40…
Would buy another whenever she need it.
Sillage is about a foot away and last nine hours on her.

I’ve tried this a few times and it doesn’t sing for me, sadly. It is musky, lightly spicy, yes, but it also fell flat quickly and faded away within an hour. Ymmv, I hope it does!

Totally agree with hollycat below. This is a supremely excellent fragrance and I’m shocked that it hasn’t been more popular (well, I guess I shouldn’t be, seeing the state of the fragrance industry currently). There’s nothing else out there like it that I’ve found and I’m so glad I have a bottle of it. I think maybe it got lost in all the ridiculous flankers (I hate flankers – good scents should stand alone). I have tried Serge Lutens Feminite du Bois and found that it pales in comparison (maybe the Shisheido version was better). You must experience this before it disappears forever. Warm, spicy, just slightly sweet, comfy, inviting without being loud or obnoxious. Feels like sitting by a fire sipping a glass of wine or hot cocoa in your favorite comfy sweater and your favorite person sitting next to you. It’s that good.

  33. :

This is a warm and charismatic fragrance, rich in spices with a creamy white chocolate dry down. Spicey but not bitter, nor overly sweet. I really like this one! It’s something I feel I can wear at anytime, in most situations, possibly more so in the winter and fall.

  34. :

    4 out of 5

When I see scents like this get discontinued I’m reminded of how the vast majority of people don’t know a good perfume if it slapped them in the face.
Omnia is a rare beauty in designer perfumery. It’s rare in that it cant be compared with any other designer scent. Although I’m sure there are some niches that you can liken this to. Someone on makeupalley mentioned Serge Lutens Feminite Du Bois.
Omnia for me is so cozy and comforting. Its an oriental, spicy, woody, scent, with some gourmand qualities like milky white chocolate. The saffron gives it a slightly fresh feeling, while the other spices warm it up, and the ginger wakes it all up. And then the drydown of sandalwood, and white chocolate is so delicious and grounding. Just so satisfying.
Another fragrance from my past that I need to make a permanent home in my wardrobe.

This was my “signature scent” for a couple of years when it was first released. None of the subsequent flankers compare, in my opinion. The shower gel was particularly lovely and I would have used it by the gallon if it weren’t so expensive.
These days my scent tastes are broader but I’m wearing Omnia this morning. It’s a cozy warm morning in my house and it’s raining outside. Perfect.
It also makes a really nice layering base.

Hello every Omnia lovers! I think this beauty come back to the place! I bought it yesterday, and in my country we can find some perfume shop (overpriced). By My item’s code this stuff made in Nov. 2015.

I wanted this for so long, and was overjoyed to suddenly find it stocked at a large chemist this year. It’s like sticky, spicy candied oranges without being sickly sweet. Amazing in the Australian summer, the heat really makes it sparkle, and I feel like I’ve just stepped out of the shower because it has that freshness. My only wish is that it could be stronger and last longer!

Like Bvlgari Black, Omnia was also created by one of the consolidated masters in commercial perfumery: Alberto Morillas. It’s a mystery to me that this perfume has not done enough success to stay in production until today’s date, as Omnia is one of those perfumes easy to wear and very elegant. Omnia is like Black an oriental in a modern way with both exploring an exotic tea from a musky and stable perspective over time. The contrast between the spicy aspect and lactonic one of Indian milk tea called masala chai is made by the use of materials that suggest the lactone aspec of sandalwood combined to the spicy and slightly floral side of a saffron accord and the use of spices that balance both the fresh and cold sude (cardamom and nutmeg) with the hottest and intense one (cloves and cinnamon). The idea is well-balanced to maintain the delicate and persistent exotic style that has become the hallmark of the jewelry over the 90 and 00 decades.

I have procured a mini that checkcosmetic says is from 2003, so the same year it came out. Soapy spice, definitely not spicy enough to warrant being called masala chai (maybe the spiciness has gotten the edge taken off with time?). Less sweet than I expected. Absolutely no white chocolate anywhere on me, but ginger, cardamom, cinnamon, sandalwood and nutmeg for sure. I had higher hopes for this one, to be honest.

(A review originally posted on MakeupAlley in 2005, I wanted to re-post it here now because I do not use MakeupAlley anymore [but have many fond memories of using it] and I am trying to get back into writing reviews, using old ‘work’ as inspiration…):A sweet, unusual, pungent incense scent. It becomes more fruity and woodsy as it settles on my skin. I agree with the reviewer below that it is somewhat of a skin scent, and the only drawback is that it seems that you need a lot of it to be able to smell it and that the lasting power could be questionable. That said, I get the feeling that the sillage could be interesting, and spritzed on fabric, scarves, clothes it could provide an intriguing wake. A little simple for my taste, and I would go with YSL Nu for a more complex incense scent, but nevertheless I find it noteworthy.

  46. :

    3 out of 5

Let’s get one thing straight: Omnia does NOT smell anything like chai tea. Anyone who says it does has clearly never tasted or smelled a cup of authentic masala chai. Omnia has none of the aromatic spiciness, and completely lacks the warm, sweet creaminess of the real deal.
I had read the note list here, along with the indulgent reviews and was expecting something gourmand, but alas was disappointed. That said, it is still a nice perfume, just don’t expect cinnamon, clove, sandal or white chocolate to feature prominently at all.
The first spray is cool, lively and fresh; A transparent hint of tangerine blends with a watery, vaguely ozonic floral note (lotus). A thin dusting of cold, green spices emerge, in particular cardamom, ginger and black pepper, imparting a clipped, dry, slightly vegetal crispness. There is nothing particularly sweet detectable here, or from any point onward, bar what remains of the watery tangerine.
I don’t pick up on the cinnamon, or the almond notes, nor do I get much intensive sparkle from the clove. It’s all very understated and minimal.
My nose was hoping to find a hint of white chocolate or sandalwood. While I might admit to smelling a tinge of something milky in the background, I cannot say it resembles anything close to the smell of white chocolate. It’s just not sweet or creamy enough to even glance at that association for me.
The watery, peppery freshness persists, gradually getting weaker and weaker, until after just 2 hours, I can only smell it by pressing a forearm to my nose.
Do I enjoy wearing it? I certainly think it’s unique in that the freshness is not centered around calone or citrus. It smells clean and mineral like, similar to a foam facial cleanser you’d buy at a spa. It’s rather innocuous to be honest; Doesn’t excite me or make me feel “delicious” as other seem to think, but at least it’s easy to wear to work or at the gym.
Just don’t be fooled by the ‘gourmand’ notes, because you will be disappointed.

  47. :

Starts citrusy with a mellow spicy breath that is immediately loveable in a delicate feminine way. At the same time this first Omnia provides a fresh and energizing touch that feels masculine.
After that the duality in this composition gets even more evident and this is what makes Omnia interesting and alluring. Yes, it is not loud, it is locked in its quietness. But on the inside it skilfully masters feelings of anxiety (spices), tenderness (flowers), passion(chocolate) and power(wood). I would put sandalwood as the key player here, feminized by the flowers, masculinized by the woods, in this intriguingly spiced up Jekyll-ness.
And in the meantime it is really easy to wear. Now i understand why i had to have this discontinued travesty.

Definitely the best of all the fragrances of Omnia collection launched by Maison Bvlgari. Also agree, comes from the hands of the talented Alberto Morillas creations that have a multitude of houses and all of them Honourable qualities, always with a footprint “morilla” of being, that is, emphatic and nothing simple impressions. Omnia is a different oriental scent of many launched in the outside world, not aggressive, does not humiliate nor bother the smell of this sensitive perfumery viber more dense and opulent. It opens and spicy, with Black Pepper, cardamom, roasted ginger and a plate of fresh saffron, but all properly balanced as to arouse interest to know how this will end. Your heart has more spices like Nutmeg, Cinnamon dry wood, Clove-India and floral touches, which according to Fragrantica database would be the Lotus; It is a perfect match as it comes into line attaches to the independence and fragrance, as well as innovation. For a moment I associate evolution of the medium, the water characteristic smell and dense Aguapé, Murure or Hyacinth Water, which depending on the region is known as one of the names mentioned above, and for those unfamiliar smell in fast words, describe it as a water, dense green smell and burnt / spicy nuances that despite subtle design very well. Finally, its base is a ballet hardwoods that give a unique support the fragrance, to give it visibility and also seriously, as you can tell this facet in an interaction with the warmth of Tonka and charm of sandalwood making it a fragrance, let’s say, “perfect embrace.” Yes, it is comfortable, despite being oriental, something sublime feeling and let engage. Some people do not speak well of their anchorages and projection, however, in me Omnia fixed for 12 h and designs by 9 am even in the heat, yielding positive praise and perfume questions which seen. I regret that he has been discontinued, it is what counts, but I feel happy to know that I have one for the next seven generations!

This was my very first FAVORITE fragrance….not my first fragrance ever, just the first fragrance I felt most strongly for, about 11 years ago.
I used to go around Sephora and smell all the different fragrances they had out. The moment I smelled this one, I had an almost immediate high and just couldn’t put down. It was so incredibly intoxicating. I loved it so much that it was the only thing I wore for 3 years.
It happens to go really well with my body chemistry and it brings out warm and boozy notes. Everyone who smells it on me thinks it smells delicious. However, my sister tried it and it smelled HORRIFIC on her. She brought out the spiciest notes in it that I couldn’t smell on myself. Obviously don’t buy perfumes based on other peoples reviews of them (which is what I often do).
Ever since that moment years ago, I’ve been on the hunt for something that gives me the same sort of visceral reaction. But I have been unable to find that aha moment with another fragrance that gives me chills and forces me to keep my nose anchored to my wrist all day. But if anyone has any recommendations, I’d be thrilled to hear from you!

I tend to do ok with perfumes that people criticize for having no sillage or longevity; most things find a way to stick on my skin and be decently worth the time. But Omnia… I have never encountered a perfume that is so hard to smell. I don’t think I’m anosmic to any of the notes, since I can technically smell it if I make an effort to sniff my skin–but it’s an effort. As soon as I stop consciously trying to smell it or move my arm away from my face, it basically ceases to exist. I’ve tried wearing it half a d
