I first sampled this scent when it came into our store a couple of weeks ago. Initially, I was a bit overwhelmed by the spicyness and opulent oud of this fragrance. It seemd very classically ‘oriental’ but with a feminine sweetness. However, after about ten minutes on my skin, it developed into this gorgeous soft and balmy oriental. It lost some of it’s initial ‘kick’ which I had found quite sharp and evolved into a creamy and unusual woody fragrance. It lasts for a very long time on the skin and I could smell it on my jumper when I picked it up the next morning. I can’t wait to get hold of a bottle of this for a bit of glamour and exoticism come winter.
