    I really love this perfume.
    I wish they brought it back.
    It’s everything I like; A little floral, with some moss and wood and an oceanic finish.

    Ah..patchouli..why do you have to exist in this perfume. I owned a travel sized bottle of this discontinued Norte Flore Myrte, and all I could smell from this bottle of this patchouli. If there are other scents, they are all overwhelmed by the patchouli.

    I don’t understand why this beautiful fragrance is no longer being sold. It was my signature fragrance. I loved it so much and now that I am unable to purchase it, it makes me wonder, what other fragrances will be discontinued as well. The relationship between a person and a perfume is more than just material… it is very emotional. A perfume brings back memories, it makes you relive the past. I’ve had wonderful memories with Notre Flore Myrte. I have finished my last bottle and now those memories are farther away… Will they ever bring Notre Fole Myrte back? I hope they do because it was such a unique perfume. Myrtle is not used often in perfumes and that is why I loved this one. It was different, it was amazing, it was my perfume.

    I`m making my first review here because this fragrance has been discontinued and for the life of me, I cannot understand why. So I`m doing this under the hope that it`ll garner new attention and people will demand a return to this.
    First off, I`m a guy and I wear this. As it has been mentioned before in previous posts, this fragrance is pretty unisex. I first came across it some two years ago as I searched for a myrtle fragrance. It doesn`t seem as if myrtle is a widely used ingredients, so this was the first thing that popped up when I did a google search for a Myrtle perfume.
    Having some background in aromatherapy I can say this smells pretty close to myrtle. Obviously other ingredients have been used, but the heart is pretty myrtle. Actually, here’s a hint: If you get yourself some myrtle essence and you dilute it in jojoba or sweet almond oil and put it on your skin prior to spraying this one, the myrtle will really pop.
    So the fragrance itself… this is opens very fresh, clean, bright, sparkly but also a little floral. I like to think of it as a sparkling rose or pink champagne. A kind of fresh, sparkling bursting flower, citrus, green, and fresh as it settles it becomes a soft sea-breeze. It`s bright, modern but also classic. If this fragrance were to have a personality and the personality I have assigned it goes like this: This fragrance is flirty and romantic. Unpretentious and straight forward. This fragrance is like falling in love, softly, gently. Caresses and kisses. Definitely I use this for my first dates, my lucky seductive charm. Don’t think of this as a vamp seduction, or a femme fatale seduction though. This is a soft seduction. The scent itself is addictive and you want to spend your day with it and see where it’ll take you. If the scent were a person, they’d have soft skin. Wouldn’t really wear make up, maybe a soft lip-balm.
    Good for wear all day. Silage power is long and I have noticed that at the end of the day there is still a resonance in the air from it. It comes off best during the spring and summer months if you ask me, because of the green/flowery sea-breeze scent.
    Whenever I wear it, I am complimented on it. And here I’ll go into the gender factor of this fragrance: No one ever says this smells like a woman’s fragrance on me. Maybe my body chemistry is such that I can pull it off, but frankly, I think it’s the fragrance itself and the ingredients used. If one gets a whiff of myrtle essence, it is far from feminine in terms of scent. Then again, gender is such a constructed thing in the modern world. It definitely does not come across as an over-powering masculine scent. This does not impose itself into the room. Rather it smiles softly at you and beckons you to come and play. Maybe it’s an androgynous sprite. But even if it is a highly feminine scent, it is a gentle scent. It is also very original. I date men and they seem to really love it. But my female friends also fall for this. And when I reveal to them that it is a woman’s perfume they want to run out and find it.
    It’s become my signature scent during the spring/summer months. Why, why has L’Occitane discontinued this one? I have written them asking them to please bring it back. And they seem to be stuck on a verbena bent these days, but it is just NOT the same. Though I do not doubt there is some verbena in this, because L’Occitane just seems enamoured by that scent, it is just not the same.
    Please L’Occintane bring this one back.

    I find this too sour and tart, like eating dried cranberries. Otherwise, it’s a light, almost unisex, ozonic fragrance, with hints of citrus. It would be good for summer, but it’s not for me. I know this is a somewhat rare and coveted perfume, but it doesn’t do much for me.

    It’s hard to obtain the feeling of freshness with patchouli, as it tends to smell mossy, earthy or even “old&dirty”. It’s often used to balance very sweet, gourmandy notes of vanilla and fruits, giving this characteristic, luscious effect, very well known from “Angel” or alike.
    In this juice, however, patchouli turns out to be fresh and airy, as it’s been mixed with myrtle and some other herbs. Even though it contains citrusy notes that are pretty easy to detect, the fragrance itself does not smell citrusy. I’ve read somewhere it contains the sea breeze note and I have to say there must be a grain of truth in it; I live by the sea, so I can tell 😉
    Notre Flore Myrte reminds me a little bit of Coco Mademoiselle, but is much lighter, more casual and gives you this nice sensation of being close to nature. Nice work, L’Occitane!

    Absolutely love this one. It smells irresistible to me. Can’t stop sniffing it. I think this kind of smell would please everyone around you as well. Very soft, flowery, with just a hint of citrus to accentuate the sweetness. Very feminine, inoffensive (in a good way-that doesn’t mean it’s ordinary) and good quality perfume.

    I’ve never smelled myrtle before so I’m not sure what I’m smelling with this. I find this to be a light floral, green, and slightly herbal. It does smell unusual and different, in a pretty good way.

    These are the official notes from L’Occitane’s website:
    HEAD:
    Mandarin tree leaves
    Cranberries
    HEART:
    MYRTLE
    Sea amber
    BASE:
    Citrus labdanum
    Patchouli leaves
    There’s no blueberry in this!

    Indeed fresh, (sweet)lemons and posibly something leafy. I do not get any blueberries, one of my favourite fruits. For a while there was a slightly burnt smell, but this has now disappeared totally several hours after spraying. Other wise not easy to distinguish any other notes.

    This is the only perfume I took with me when I went to Europe for 3 weeks last fall. When I was in France (10 days), I was asked what fragrance I was wearing. When I told them (3 people), they were surprised it was L’Occitane since the stores are everywhere at least in the north of France near Paris. In train stations,etc.
    It is one of my mainstays and a very feminine and unusual fragrance. Someone in the reviews here couldn’t find it in store…I think she was from Slovakia. I buy mine online at the L’Occitane website. Try that….

    I love, love and absolutely love this fragrance. Right now it just happens to be out of stock and I am desperate need of another bottle. This has people stopping me where ever I am and asking what I have on. PS: men love it!

    To me this isn’t a floral scent. It is very clean and citrusy, like what you would smell on a hot day around the Mediterranean. Nice for the summer.

    It starts a bit like a cologne and dries down powdery and soapy, but in a very natural and calming way. It’s really warm and elegant. Very feminine, yet can easily be unisex because is a floral-green perfume, based on herbs and aromatic plants.

    Very delicate floral. On me it smells very modest, almost unnoticeable, but definitely there. Would work for daytime and office for sure.

    Vow! It does smell like myrtle, I never knew there is scent made out of that plant, I have it in my garden, and the flowers smell so intensive in spring!
    Notre Flore Myrtle is gentle green-floral scent, pure, calming and natural. In the beginning floral notes are prominent, then clean citrusy notes arise. I agree, it resembles to Coco Madmoiselle.
    This is charming and long lasting floral, has tiny touch of sweetness and is good choice to use during entire year.
    The bottle is simply adorable.

    I have no idea of what myrtle is and how it smells when i pick up this perfume.
    But i do agree with some of fellow fragranticans here, that it smells floral-aquatic after a while.
    On me it starts with something fresh green herbs, after it settles it the aquatic notes starts to appear. My skin is very dry, and it is very good in soaking up any perfume that i sprayed on. I dont expect longevity when i sniff this one, but to my surprise it lasted the whole day to the evening!
    very surprising!
    to Ktv0926, i do think it will suit Miami heat perfectly. Where i live, it is also hot all year long, and this one just last and last 🙂

    This one makes me feel like a little girl. On me it resembles Coco Mademoiselle. Unique and long lasting.

    Very soft and light, I like it a lot. I’m not sure I would be able to wear it in hot Miami weather though. If I lived somewear else I would definately buy this gentle fragrance in such a precious bottle!

    I´d say that it´s a Chypre floral. Ok, my nose is not that good this days because of an allergic rhinitis (my nose is running and clogged) but the very first spray of Myrte made me think of Diesel Fuel for Life (a chypre).
    HEAD: Mandarin tree leaves and Cranberries;
    HEART: MYRTLE and Sea amber;
    BASE: Cistus labdanum and Patchouli leaves;

    Great! It’s really nice. Myrtle note is so soft, light and enveloping. I think all of ‘Notre Flore’ is well blended fragrance. Easily be unisex. I think it’s a ‘Floral Aquatic’ with green and fruity notes. Not just a ‘Floral’ note.

    very fresh, light and a little unusual green sscent. The smell reminds me of some plant, perhaps it is the smell of myrte, because I don’t know it. Anyways, its quite natural and I like it a lot
