Released in 2013, Nobre (means noble, in Portuguese) is considered an oriental-woody and was born from a particular sensation of its own creator, during a trip held in Petrópolis – Imperial City – in Rio de Janeiro. In a visitation to the main Museum of the city, he came across a replica of the Royal Crown, surrounded by several other articles, including an empty bottle, which all indicates that it has been used to store perfume. So, amid that backdrop of vestments, silver, gold, etc. was born the concept for the creation of this fragrance.
In its official composition there are notes of nutmeg, Tahiti lemon, Sicilian lemon, lavender and melon, in the output. The body of the fragrance carries notes of galbanum, clove, Lily of the Valley, cardamom, Balsam of Tolu and geranium, while the base is composed with notes of sandalwood, honey, cedar and patchouli.
Initially, even before I met the fragrance, it gives me great pleasure to see unexpected creations like this. Right off the bat, we have the acidity of two kinds of lemon with the juicy note of melon, normally used in fruity and fresh fragrances. The lavender is not sweetened and the nutmeg gave a spicy aspect to the scent.
Then, the body (or heart) of the fragrance brings warm and bitter nuances. On my skin, I noticed a lot of galbanum, clove and Balsam of tolu. The initial acidity merges with green, bitter and resinous nuances. Quickly, the base notes appear and the evolution is shown, almost instantaneous, with the sweetness of the honey and the open smell of the Cedar. All this occurs in about 30 minutes and then, the scent becomes linear until disappear completely.
There is a kind of “déjà vu”, but it’s hard to describe. When I wear this scent, the same olfactory memory comes to my mind: seems they took Animale for Men and applied bitter nuances, removing its aromatic side.
The bottle follows the standard look of the collection, this time emphasizing the color of gold, and features the same rectangular design of the latest perfumes for sale.
I loved this creation and it’s easy to understand why the founder of the House informed me that it was the biggest seller for a long time and, even today, fights for a position at the top of the requests. But not everything is perfect, because the projection is low and the lasting is average, especially for an Eau de Parfum. Still, this Noble perfume (pun intended) deserves public attention.

Nobre is a perfume discreet and balanced, can be part of the nobility.
Opens fresh and floral while lavender giving the rhythm but with a balanced citrus tone has something tasty discreet together.
Has a floral white chord together that makes it very clean, delicate, like that bathed aspect may be the lily perhaps, and brings the feel of clean cotton clothes.
But there are pinches spicy, cinnamon or cloves that foment and slight warms heart, and refers me to Tommy classic, of course, improved here, a journey through my teenage years.
At the base a woody and creamy slight chord, only to close the majestic and noble way as the name says.
