Description
Prada expends its Exclusive Collection with the eleventh fragrance that bears the name of No11 Cuir Styrax. From 2003 until today, the fashion house of Prada presents its prestige and elegant fragrance creations as parts of this collection, available only in exclusive Prada boutiques.
Cuir Styrax is a luxurious, mystical and sophisticated blend of leather and resins that radiates subtle but present confidence. The composition is blended of neroli and orange blossom, as symbols of desire, animalistic and spicy styrax, Honduras wood, leather, white musk, incense and vanilla notes. The creation is signed by perfumer Daniela Andrier.
The fragrance comes in minimalistic designed bottle and box, available as 30 ml pure perfume.
No11 Cuir Styrax was launched in 2011. The nose behind this fragrance is Daniela (Roche) Andrier.

My experiences with Prada have been more on the freshie/designer side–which is not my favorite scent genre–however I am huge fan of Amber Pour Homme Intense and have a couple backup bottles. Imagine my surprise when I discovered this little sample sitting in one of my shoe boxes filled with perfume samples I have been collecting for years.
The opening wasn’t too pleasant as it reminded me of AquaNet hairspray. However, I attribute this harsh opening to my tiny LuckyScent sample and the fact it was probably stored more than 3-4 years. Regardless, I was eager to try this fragrance and it didn’t disappoint…animalic-leather, musk and incense wrapped in white floral tones is what I get out of this scent. Offhand, it reminded me of a toned-down, airier, alternative to Dior Cuir Cannage, which is a beast on my skin.
Anyway, I like it…not a review as much as a first impression since my sample was so small and, perhaps, a bit stale. Offhand, I doubt that I will order a sample since I am perfectly happy with my bottle of Cuir Cannage. However, No11 Cuir Styrax may be worth checking-out if you’re into these animalic leather scents that doesn’t go overboard on the skank. Cheers.

This is fun to try out but I couldn’t really imagine owning it. It is deep and resinuous but little leather, there is a sweet leather that smells very little like actual leather but you know it’s there. It’s warm and slightly oriental but not really in a spicy sense. Animalic in a good way

Smell like air. Nothing. On my skin doesn’t last enough neither to pronounce a judgment.

This reminds me of the scent of Morrocanoil hair products, but better. It’s not too sweet or too woody and the styrax is wonderful. To me styrax smells just enough like cinnamon to make you think of it without actually smelling like cinnamon. I find styrax very attractive – keep wanting to smell my arm. This perfume has so far been very hard to find. Hoping that either the Chicago or New York boutiques have it and that they will mail it to me.
Additional comments: Cuir Styrax has a light touch with sweet elements (orange & a tiny bit vanilla) and smoky ones. Combined with with the spicy character of styrax, it makes a scent that is deep, rich and warm. Longevity is fine, sillage is light (I think).
Update: it’s only available in the Beverly Hills Prada Boutique. They will mail it to you (for a fee of course) if you live elsewhere.
