So glad I have a FB of this lovely. Starts out mostly like reg. No 1 for women with a little less sillage and a lot more violet. The violet and Orris butter are beautifully blended. I still get a good deal of plum and powder just like the reg. No. 1 There is a woody vanilla and smooth delicate sandalwood in the base. Do I love it more than reg. No 1 no probably not but I love it as much. Longevity is good on this.
