Thank you to Dossage for the opportunity to try all the scents in the collection.
Men’s No. 8 is my favorite in the collection, but the No. 8 for Her is a worthy companion and is my favorite of the three scents for women. No. 8 is a fruity-floral, but emphasis on the floral. The fruity notes here–citruses, currant–are the juicy, natural variety and not overly sweet. It’s a very grown-up fruity-floral that I feel completely comfortable wearing even though I’m in my 40s. (Which is not to say that younger women will be unable to wear it. Perhaps “well-done” is a better description than “grown-up.”) Lily of the Valley is prominent here, softened by a clean, sexy musk that is present throughout the scent’s evolution. I have worn this scent to the office, but I find it’s better suited for dates and romantic occasions, especially if Mr. NLS is wearing the No. 8 for Him. They smell distinct but do indeed complement each other perfectly. Longevity is about seven hours and the sillage is moderate. It’s a pleasure to wear.
