I’ve never written a review before but I feel so strongly about this perfume products, I had to take the time to tell my story.
My best friend is a perfume fanatic and I have purchased duty-free and difficult-to-find perfumes for her over the years while cruising on ships and in foreign ports. I never wore perfumes because they always had that sickening chemical smell gave me a headache. Over the years, I’d sample perfumes and always ended up having to go home and take a shower to get them off of me. (I can’t be the only person out there who had the same problem.)
One day I hugged my friend and she smelled delicious.
I asked her what she was wearing and she said she had found a new company, Paragon Perfumes, and had purchased a perfume named “LSD”. I thought the name was a hoot and she giggled and said it was an abbreviation for “Life’s Splendid Dimensions” and added that it was definitely her new ‘drug of choice! She said each time she orders a perfume, they send her samples of their newest creations.
I was willing to smell the samples but reluctant to actually put some on my skin. Much to my surprise, I fell in love with “Ambergris” and “Honey Rose”.
I finally took the plunge and tried them on my wrist. I found myself constantly smelling myself (no kidding). I had no negative side effects. I begged my friend to give me her samples and I kept wearing them until they were completely used up. I went online and treated myself to both perfumes.
I wear the “Honey Rose” daily. Anyone who comes near me comments on my perfume and wants to know what it is. I smell like warm honey and fresh rose petals. I wear the “Ambergris” at night and on special occasions. I love the scent and so does my man! With my last purchase from Paragon Perfumes, they sent me a sample of “Night Blooming Cereus” and I’m in love all over again! These perfumes don’t change on my skin and they last all night long!
I never dreamed I’d get hooked on perfume but I’m addicted. I don’t know a thing about how perfumes are made but there must be something completely different about these perfumes. The only word that comes to mind is “natural”. I especially recommend Paragons Perfumes to people like me, who are chemical sensitive and have never been able to wear perfume. You’ll fall in love, I promise!!

I bought a bottle of this for my wife and then all of her sisters and Mother started fighting over it, so I had to buy dear Mom a bottle too. I just ordered more on Amazon for all the other sisters so this is their Christmas present. This is really a neat scent on my wife and I admit I wear it too. The company usually sends free samples with the orders so I have smelled all of the other juice. My personal favorite is the LSD,(short for Life’s Splendid Dimensions) apparently it is a floriental, (actually advertised as being in the ‘Hallucination Fascination’ family), but it just happens to smell great on me. I find however all of the scents are pretty amazing and last a while on myself and my wife. I also happen to like the Haunted because it is a Russian Leather; although advertised as a Scottish leather. It has just the right amount of leather and spice for me so it is my second fav. I am very critical over fumes but I give this Perfumer and her creations 5 out of 5 stars. I am definitely keeping an eye on her to see what she is going to design next. On a side note: Fragrantica has this company and perfumer listed as being new and apparently they are not. They have been doing business since 2000 and have had perfumes on the market for quite some time. This perfume was actually launched as a solid in 2006 and the edp was launched in 2008 and the perfumer even talks about it in her book, The Rogue Perfumer, also on Amazon and published in 2009. I haven’t read the book yet, but it is on my Christmas wish list. Maybe my wife will read this and get it for me. lol!

I actually have been growing ‘Queen of the Night’ since 1999. It has a very subtle almost faint aroma in itself. It’s known as a ‘flavournoid’, and this is more of an addiction rather than a fragrance. The Christian Audigier fragrance ‘Born Wild’ EDP is the closet I have smelled to QON. I have not smelled this the one above fragrance, am unsure if it is in fact available in Australia. I am extremely familiar with this plant and it’s scent. I have images documented over 15 years of the blooms. The bloom when picked deteriorates incredibly fast. It wont keep even in water. It does in fact only bloom once and at night hence the term Queen of the Night’ though with a well grown and undisturbed and protected plant there can be up to 20 or more blooms present throughout it’s lunar cycle, as this plant is sensitive to the moon cycles.
It’s category is ‘Zygo Cacti’ Though in it’s natural habitant. The Brazilian rain forest. It is actually an ”epiphyte’. Meaning it lives off the debris of other plant species. Somewhat symbiotic and parasitical.

Wow, this Night Blooming Cereus is an amazing eau de parfum, (more like a pure perfume), beautifully orchestrated and well worth the money to buy it at etsy at the Paragon Perfumes store. I don’t anyone else on the planet making this exquisite parfum and I have searched many hours on the internet. You can also get this at the website, ParagonPerfumes.com. It is so lovely on my skin and my whole family can wear it, even my husband. I love to smell it on him. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this to anyone and everyone. . .

Wonderful fragrance and it is my new favorite! Love love love it! I could buy gallons of this. I am so glad I bought it on etsy’s website and it is well worth it. You can buy small samples of the parfums to try first. The perfumer really knows her stuff.

YES! I finally got the juice. I grow these strange and different plants (really not a pretty plant) which at one time bloomed with over 30 blooms over a weeks time in P.A. I cannot recreate the same blooming in G.A.? I do have to say this is the closest I have found to that exact scent. Very sweet and slightly spicy with a creamy feel. I carry the solid to refresh during my time at work when I need to escape just for a moment. danda74 I think this will make you happy, look on ebay she sells trial sizes also. I don’t find it a sillage monster but on my dry skin it lasts around 5 hours.

I have not made a comment on this board before, but I had to say something about this solid. It is sweet Night Blooming cereus smell for sure. I do love it, I use it as my comfort scent. Close to the skin. I am hoping to get it in parfum soon.
