Description

Neroli Sauvage by Creed is a Citrus Aromatic fragrance for women and men. “Neroli” refers to the blossom of the bitter orange tree. This essence was named after a 17th century Italian duchess in the Nerola region of Italy who helped popularize this green and sweet aroma. Sauvage means “wild.”

Neroli Sauvage celebrates this joyous and delicate blossom with top notes of bergamot and grapefruit, middle notes of neroli and lemon verbena, all on a base of ambergris. Neroli Sauvage was launched in 1994. The nose behind this fragrance is Olivier Creed Sixth Generation.

My first Creed! Oh wow, this is a gorgeous fragrance, from the fresh, natural, lemon opening to the soft, gentle, warm ambergris dry down. And it’s actually the dry down that makes me love this scent so much. Yes, the initial citrus blast is fleeting and lasts merely minutes on my skin. But oh, that beautiful dry down is intoxicating to me and well worth the price. It’s interesting though, I don’t get ANY neroli out of this juice at all. And while the bottle itself is very nice, the plastic gold cap feels cheap. I tested this at Neiman Marcus and ordered it at a substantial discount from one of the reputable online retailers, and it seems to be the real deal. It was still expensive though, so I only wear this on special occasions. Just beautiful, so warm and comforting. Well worth the splurge for me. Love it!

Absolutely fabulous opening, sweet lemons (or grapefruit, or whatever citrus). There is no dry down, just an opening and then it’s gone. I’d wear this everyday if you gave it to me but who could afford this? You’d have to spray it on every 1/2 hour…

Just like most of you said below: this is not a beast performer (to put it softly), but the sweet-sour combination adds up to a bright, cheerful, utterly enjoyable juice. I got it at a 50% discount for EUR 88, which was an instant buy for me. I am still to see if performance can be boosted by spritzing it on clothes too. But honestly, this is no issue to me, I usually reapply 2-3 times a day anyway. This is definitely a love for me, and highly recommended for freshie lovers 🙂

I bought a 75ml of this to take to Indonesia for a month long holiday. It was going to be the only fragrance I wore the whole month so in the future I would always associate NS with my time in Asia. Long story short, after a few days I had to go and buy a different scent.
This is a mundane, bland effort by Creed tbh. I know it’s a good 25 years old now, but even as a self proclaimed freshy fan boy, even I can’t find anything appealing about this predictable citrusy scent. I won’t mention performance, as it’s Creed and we all know what we’re getting ourselves in to when we wear their scents.
This will now, go in the glovebox of my car only to be used if I need a respray of something/anything in the afternoon or evening.

Alexandria Fragrances has created their take on this called Dirty Orange that has great longevity and projection. I tried it the other day and it lasted over 8 hours with 3-4 feet of projection for at least 2 hours with only one spray on my arm. It was sunny and warm out, too. Like their other interpretations, this is nearly spot on with better performance, the quality is really good, and, although this isn’t for sale yet, it will likely be a fraction of the cost of Creed.

Man I despise this scent it smells like the field mice that get into my house if Im mis fortunate enough. It’s like if Acqua Di Parma colonia 1916 were over a thousand times more unwearable sharp as hell

Great smell but longevity and projection are joke!! paying too much money for cologne performance is nonsense here.

More nose-ecstasy from CREED! This opens as a complexly green neroli . It soars…… dries down too fast then again- a skin scent………………….
Beautiful just not worth the price for 3 minutes of “love”.

Bright and fresh. I think this is one of Creed’s most underrated fragrances. I don’t know of anyone who would object to you wearing this fragrance that can be worn by male or female alike. the only drawback to the fragrance is it just doesn’t last as long as I would like. I usually get about 4 hours out of this fragrance unless I spray it on my clothes then maybe 5. even though, it doesn’t last as long you’re fragrance smells so good it’s very well worth the money.

Ive sampled the vintage version of this and I own a newer 2.5oz bottle. The fragrances are “night and day” as far as their performance; the vintage stuff easily lasted a workday but the new stuff, maybe til lunch.
The new stuff (with the yellow sticker label) is great! It’s sharp and pleasant and the opening few minutes really do smell quite a bit like Irish Spring soap, which i happen to love. Super-citrus zest and white floral, as time goes by the white floral becomes more forefront, but it all fades away sooner than you’d probably like. Weirdly enough if i applied this scent right after a shower, I seemed to get more longevity than if I sprayed it on before leaving the house, as usual. So maybe walk into your wardrobe while wearing your towel and hit yourself with this a few times, then go get ready for work 🙂
The vintage stuff i sampled so long ago i don’t have a heck of a lot to say, but i recall it was generally a bit more ‘salty’, was less citrus-zesty and 3 sprays lasted a Summer workday. Loved it. Still love the new stuff too. This is somewhat of a hidden gem within the Creed lineup. An easy 8 out of 10 for me, a proper go-to/no-brainer scent for pretty much any season, but the warmer the better.

I love the fragrance but It has very poor longevity 🙁 very soft, not strong neroli like Ferrari bright neroli. it is classic scent.

I love most Creed fragrances and managed to great a great deal on a 250ml Flacon a few years ago. Although these citrus/aromatic/freshies aren’t my favorite scent genre, I found Neroli Sauvage to be a very nice Summertime citrus fragrance, although it didn’t initially grab my attention as being anything extraordinaire; just a very solid and enjoyable citrus scent. Over the years I have really come to enjoy wearing this one during the warm Summer months.
Unfortunately, the longevity of this fragrance is weak even for a citrus scent (2-hours, 3 if I’m lucky) and, except for the opening, it sits pretty close to my skin. I really like this fragrance, but I cannot recommend it because of performance issues. I’m actually a bit surprised because I have fragrance friendly skin and most Creeds perform well on my skin. A strong like!

This is like falling in love with a high-class hooker. I love it, but it only stays with me for about 2 hours. I can have it anytime I want, but that would get very expensive. Sometimes, I just want it to stay the night, but it’s always gone the next morning. If I’m lucky, I’ll catch a whiff from by clothes, but just enough to make me crave more. It’s a lovely experience while it lasts, but it’s always over too soon.

Neroli Sauvage certainly isn’t a bad fragrance, in fact it’s quite nice. However, it lasts for about 2-4 hours at best (which is disappointing, all the other Creeds I’ve tried last at least 8!), and unfortunately there isn’t anything about the fragrance that especially stands out. I’d happily wear it, but theres no way I’d buy a bottle at retail price!

I sampled this today. Needless to say, Neroli reminds me of Tom Ford’s take with his Neroli frags. Imo, too much citrus = nope nope nope! As much as it is refreshing, it reminds me too much of a lemon cleaner.
GIT’s citrus is nice. The lemon verbena is subtle, yet not overpowering enough to hate it. Plus it has iris, violet, sandalwood, and ambergris.
To NS itself, I find it is suited for summer only. If your a citrus lover, you need this. I myself would opt for VIW if we are talking summer scents.

  18. :

    5 out of 5

I ordered a 5ml decant of this, and Erolfa, because I’ve been craving some Summer scents.
I had previously sampled Erolfa but this was my first time trying Neroli Sauvage, and right off the bat i find the two colognes to share many similarities!! Both open citrusy and salty, Erolfa being a tad saltier, but as they dry down they go in slightly different directions.
I also find a similarity with this to Jardin D’Amalfi, but only in terms of how i perceive the citrus to smell kinda like “orange fizzy candies”.
In summary, I’m actually really glad i tried Neroli Sauvage! For my personal taste, i like it better than JD’A but not as much as i like Erolfa. A no-brainer for Summers near the coast, and seems to be available at a good price. Another Creed that doesn’t get the fanfare it should. A solid 8/10 for me, easily likeable.

UPDATE July 2016 After I wrote this I scrolled down and found my previous review from May 2015. Too funny!!!! My nose is nothing if not consistent. (If you see it, you’ll know exactly what I mean.) Was gifted this bottle a year or so ago. Sniffed at it numerous times, today was the day to wear it. I live in the US- The Midwest. It is a cool 66°, overcast day. I’ve combined this with The Body Shop’s Shea Karite. IMO NS, lends itself more towards the masculine, so I need a facet that would tweak it more toward the feminine and the SK was the perfect touch. NS all over, SK on chest, neck and arms.
The results: fresh, clean, bright with a touch of soft, cozy. It’s a relaxing fragrance and soothing. The NS is a bit aggressive on its own. It says, “wake up, let’s start the day and let’s do it outdoors!” My Combo says, “relax, your fresh and clean. Now let’s cuddle up, indoors or out with a good book.” Or, “Meet a friend for a lunch, al fresco.” I’m really enjoying this combo. Next time I’m thinking of adding something a bit sweeter to NS and see how that works.

I usually go head over heels for neroli fragrances, yet this one is so bland. It’s basically just a lemon citrus scent. I’d pick it up if it were $50 or less – but not $150+.

Fragrance Review For Neroli Sauvage By Creed
    Top Notes: Bergamot Grapefruit
    Middle Notes: Neroli Verbena
    Base Notes: Ambergris
With the name Sauvage in the moniker I wondered if it would bear even a slight resemble to Dior’s Sauvage cologne. It’s not a dupe but in a weird way it has something in it that does remind me of the ambroxan scent in Sauvage. It’s as strong too. It has great sillage but the longevity could be better. I would have to say that this is more on the masculine side as it can feel/smell like a man’s aftershave with a citrus scent. The neroli is the major note but it’s also very much a verbena. For a while it begins to smell like pure verbena. It reminds me of a L’Occitane Verbana body lotion I have. It’s very aromatic and citrusy. Each note is detectable. The bergamot orange and grapefruit, the neroli. It’s a citrus bomb. I used to dislike citrus but I began to wear it and got used to it. This is really very nice and the price is good. It’s perfect to wear as a summer time fragrance, something to wear to the beach, or to cool off while drinking mojitos and sweet cocktails. Such good stuff.

Is it me or does Neroli Sauvage resembles Aubepine Acacia and a hint of Royal Water? I can’t put my finger on it but with this one I get some of the same notes that are found in AA.
Apart from this, this fragrance is delightful and stunning, plus it wears well on the skin.

  23. :

    4 out of 5

Creed has the ultimate summer scent in Neroli Sauvage – bright, zesty, and fresh – a real shame then that it’s so very short-lived!
Opening with intensely bold grapefruit and lemon peel with hints of oakmoss, Neroli Sauvage is exquisite. 30 minutes in and the open fades to reveal herbaceous verbena and the ‘fizz’ of bittersweet neroli. The dry down, achieved in less than an hour on my skin, is of subtle and buttery ambergris elevated by the inclusion of more neroli. By the second hour I’m left with little more than a fleeting memory of this summery beauty.
Neroli Sauvage is a sublimely cheerful and very wearable aromatic floral fragrance for the 2 hours it’s detectable. The impression one gets is that the quality of the ingredients is second to none.
Certainly a unisex scent. Suited to warm weather wear.
Longevity is very short, sillage is moderate at open then almost non-existent.
5/10 (a strong 8.5 if it performed better)

This was mainly a blind buy for me, I had only smelled it once on a paper strip at Neiman Marcus. I always have bad luck with heavy citrus fragrances, the last one I had very high hopes for was Chanel Allure Homme Edition Blanche but like always, citrus scents go funky on my skin. Neroli Sauvage was as close as I got to Chanel Edition Blanche with the vanilla being replaced with neroli to impart the creaminess and best of all,, it doesn’t get funky on my skin! This scent smells beautiful the whole way through and I have to attribute that to the high quality ingredients they used and I should know because my picky skin testifies of it. Projection and longevity may not be the best but I really don’t mind over spraying this stuff because it’s inoffensive, pleasant and easily found at a discounted price, plus, the bottle looks great in my collection, I’ll buy one every year if I have to.

Today I had opportunity to spray onto my arm three doses of this middle ’90s Creed creation. It was a brilliant citrusy white flower smell on the first hour what turned onto a kind of warm way and became creamy. Constantly get smoother and softer and after the third hour the fragrance give only simple body lotion type of smell. I did love the begging zesty game, but it didn’t last long and the following performance wasn’t impressive.
I adore Creed, but this is too soft, too week, to silky for me.
It is worth the price? Not at all!

  26. :

Given to me. Grapefruit, lemon AND verbena???? Overkill on the citrus. Too much grapefruit!!!!! Will have to figure out a way to add warmth or sweetness to this by combining another fragrance if I’m ever going to use this. Haven’t figured out what to pair it with just yet. IMO it’s not balanced. Maybe a man could pull it off, as is, but I’ll need a little extra something.

  27. :

    4 out of 5

I like the smell but it literally disappears from me after fifteen minutes, even when I spray it on quite heavily. So disappointed! I was looking for an impressionable citrus scent but I can already tell I won’t be wearing this one much.

  28. :

    3 out of 5

I blind bought this based on reviews and due to the past success I’ve had wearing creeds that most people say has poor performance.
It did initially have poor performance but I didn’t give up on it so soon. After a couple more weeks past letting it sit out and ferment like a peice of fruit, threw it on and BAM! Performance is much improved in projection and longevity.
Don’t ask me how but creeds seem to get better the longer you keep them, well for me anyway.
What does this smell like to me? Starts with a blast of citrus mostly lemon bergamote and neroli in the background but yet noticeable. Kinda dries down with a smoother lemon orange custard with a semi 80s vibe to it. Just beautifully done! This works very well in spring. If youre like me and like sleeper creeds than give this one a try.
    .
    OVERALL: 7/10

. Bitter orange with a old man smell. Quality is there but I will pass on the scent. Orange Sanguine is much better than this. But Creed’s longevity last for hours. Thanks for the sample.

  30. :

    5 out of 5

Used to love this. Now, I’m not too sure.. Its doesn’t just smell kinda soapy. It smells like a lemon dish soap factory exploded.

  31. :

    5 out of 5

Neroli Sauvage is a good bergamot/lemon/neroli combo, so a citrus/soap combination of a warm weather fragrance. Best suited for a summer day, the citrus-dominant opening give way to a neroli- and ambergris-dominated dry down, certainly appropriate for both formal and informal circumstances in the warmer months. It adopts some of the pleasant cleanliness of a bathroom without smelling like cleaning fluid. Certifiably fresh, for sure. Some seem to identify this as a women’s fragrance but it certainly is innocuous enough to work for either gender, though I’m sure opinions on neroli vary.
At the millesime/EDP concentration, the projection and longevity expectations are decently high, so at merely average for both, I found Neroli Sauvage a little disappointing, given the Creed price tag (Silver Mountain Water and Aventus, for example, are other warm weather Creed entries that last and project greater, at least on my skin). One might be better served by Thierry Mugler cologne for something a little lighter and a lot cheaper (or 4711, even lighter and cheaper, to that point), or Tom Ford Neroli Portofino for something more concentrated and even more expensive. It just seems that enough fragrances have gone down the road of neroli to render Neroli Sauvage unappealing in the quality/price spectrum.
Still, an enjoyable scent that, if price were not a factor, might end up in my collection.

This fragrance is highly underrated . Why because it fetches a $385 price tag for a 120 ml? I wore this multiple times and enjoyed it every time , The longevity depends on the climate , 6 sprays and I am good , It has been in the -20s for the past week in Canada and a week ago I used this fragrance , I kid you not I can still smell Neroli Savage on my shirt collar , In my opinion we should wear a fragrance because we enjoys the smell of it , Not because of the hype,$$$ or other peoples opinions .
    Peace,

Very nice fragrance. Strong citrus blast at the open, floral drydown, then a beautiful sweet ambergris that stays close to the skin. Lovely but doesn’t last long. A bit too feminine for my taste.

Neroli? really? this one is just a citrus mass with greenish-rubber burning scent. Very dissapointed.

I bought this stuff as a replacement for their rather weak Citrus Bigarrade, so the joke was on me! NS opens quite a bit weaker than a typical Eau de Cologne, but seems to be more citrus-fruit oriented than blossom-oriented at first. If I smell the spot I sprayed after a few minutes, it seems more chalky than most of its competitors, a bit like smelling an actual bar of (not necessarily good) soap; maybe this is a bunch of powdery notes just starting to break through the citrussy top notes. Eventually it becomes just powdery weak soap, and feels out-of-date and unappealing. Ultimately NS does all of the things that Penhaligon’s Castile does, only 1/10 as effectively. I even sniffed it side-by-side with the Citrus Bigarrade that it was meant to replace, and realized that I had to keep the CB because it was so much zestier and stronger. There’s no excuse for NS to be so weak or short-lived, and I couldn’t even begin to list all the cheaper but more effective citrus/EdC fragrances that you could buy instead of it.

  36. :

    5 out of 5

This is a 330$ joke… And I am still waiting for the punchline. The opening is flaming gay man… FABULOUS however its gone in 30 minutes. If this could be rated on longevity it would be the juice I swear by. But it doesnt deliver. I compare this the super hot guy who still lives with his momma.

  37. :

    5 out of 5

Gorgeous crispy scent! Very fresh with a raspy twist, although neroli is not a main note for me. It’s all about lemongrass and citrus with a bit of salt. I would love this on a handsome Italian man with jeans and a plain white T. Hmmmmmm

  38. :

    3 out of 5

In typical Creed fashion, the name does not reflect the perfume. Don’t expect to smell any Neroli here. Its basically Lemon Pledge furniture polish.
Lasts for 30 minutes, and then leaves you wondering why you just spent all that money for this.
Precisely why you should just get up and go to a store to smell this.

  39. :

    5 out of 5

This one has one of the best openings EVER. A very natural citrus blast with florals. However, it is extremely short lived. 15 min to a half hour later it is simply a ambergris skin scent that lasts about 3-4 hours. For the price not worth it at all.

  40. :

    4 out of 5

The opening is super-brilliant–one of the best citrus openings in the business–but super short-lived. Couple that with not much neroli and a high price tag: the juice isn’t worth the squeeze.

  41. :

    3 out of 5

Great smell but short lived. Although the ambergris sticks around on the skin for over 8 hours. Worth the money if you don’t like being loud, also because its of excellent quality.

  42. :

    5 out of 5

Über citrus opening soon gives way to an intermingling with beautifully herbaceous verbena. Slightly bittersweet neroli rushes in to mellow things out. Great warm weather scent, staying intensely fresh despite heat and sweat. (5)

  43. :

    4 out of 5

Ok, if you want to know what this smells like take bergamote and grapefruit with the astringency of the rinds included, put them in a blender and add some very expensive soap into it. This is the first 30 minutes of the fragrance. After that the neroli begins to come through and the citrus dies down but does not disappear. The beginning borders on astringent but doesn’t cross into that realm. I would describe it more like bracing, like jumping into an icy cold pond.
That being said this along with Gucci Pour Homme II are my two favorite scents of all time. I have smelled hundreds of fragrances and even though this is not particularly daring it just resonates with me. It is a bright clean masculine scent that is very high quality and well made. As far as longevity I think that it really depends on the batch. I have been lucky to find that the scent lasts for hours on my skin. This scent, if it last on your skin, is worth every penny in my opinion. This is a personal masterpiece for me.

  44. :

    5 out of 5

Smelled it on a paper strip: One of the better citrus scents I’ve smelled. Very nice. I wonder how long it would last on me? (Most scents don’t last long on me.) The reviews here suggest not long…

  45. :

    5 out of 5

Just received it from the post….the smell is terrific….nice indeed for spring summer…dont know longevity and sillage yet but on the first spray, i noticed similarities with GIT and Eau Sauvage…after the first 10 minutes, the whole thing turns towards a citrus lemon orange lollipop without being too sweet or syropy…it is just right.
Definitely masculine, i dont see a woman wearing this…obviously Creed is categorizing some perfumes like this and MI as unisex but are not….a woman should smell like a woman, wirh gourmand, vanilla, powedery sweet notes and not citrus and aromatic notes.
starting with citurs, i detect some mossy odour as well but this is not old fashioned or too strong…
The idea of this, as said before, is GIT with Eau sauvage…..this compination of two great perfumes make another one very good…but not classic! For the lovers of citrus perfumes…..
i would say that the correct name for this one should be citrus sauvage and not neroli sauvage.

  46. :

To me this fragrance smell more masculine. Dry and serious smell in my opinion.
On a woman, it makes me think it would suit a corporate business executive wearing a severe pant-suit.

Fresh, clean and modern. I do like Neroli Sauvage and was gifted a bottle by my grandmother several years ago. I wasn’t that into fragrances at the time and really thought this was too masculine for me. Sadly, I used a large portion of the bottle as bathroom air freshener as I didn’t know how expensive Creed fragrances were. My tastes have evolved and now I like to wear it on my skin. I do like the opening which is a blast of harsh citrus leaves. I like to wear this more in warmer weather. My bottle is almost empty at this point and I probably would not repurchase a bottle of this, for one the price is too high for what this fragrance is in my opinion and the longevity is poor, about 2 hours.

  48. :

    5 out of 5

neroli suavage is a true citrus scent. Very bold opening and very rich. The neroli in it has a strong presence through out the entire life span of the frangrance but comes out more in about 2 hours. Great summer scent and even great in the winter cause it sparks the feelings of being on the beach. Very natural smelling great sillage. Great longevity. Its not your normal “chemical” inserted cologne that suffocates people, but more of “what am I smelling right now thats soo good?” type of scent.
Don’t like booing but creed has so many people talking negative about it so I will put my 2 cents in here. Tom ford neroli scent is a joke. It smells like plastic slippers they sell at my dollar store. If you don’t believe me compare them. You’ll see im not lieing and there sadly is a resemblance .

  49. :

I bought it and I’m deeply desapointed. The start is so nice and citrus, but two hours later, desapears from my skin.

Nothing notable at all. If you want a top notch neroli, try Tom Ford.

This is a very nice summer scent. With that being said, I have only purchased it once, which was 7 years ago. It is unisex, but I can see where it can be more masculine. There is a note that I cannot detect, but it is more for a man than a woman. Otherwise, it is a nice summer scent.

  52. :

    4 out of 5

Neroli Sauvage is a nice fresh citrusy floral. Neroli is beautiful here, smells a bit herbal to me. Contrary to some reviews, I do not see it being too feminine, but probably unisex. Very appealing to wear during summer, although it is suitable pretty much for any weather.

  53. :

    5 out of 5

I liked Neroli Sauvage even before my passion for neroli, but compared to other scents on the same type I’m sorry to say it is not lasting at all! It seems to fade away from my skin within minutes! Same with Spring Flower 🙁
The scent itself is very fresh almost pungent and I would say even masculin. Nice for a hot summer day, but at that price???

*Thank you to Nattonline and Lana Lool who BOTH sent me samples of this interesting and wonderful scent*
NEROLI SAUVAGE (or “wild bitter orange blossom”) is truly wonderful. Not because it is complex or all that daring and groundbreaking, but for its simplicity and quiet elegance. On first applying it, all I could smell was ALCOHOL…this evaporated in a flash (literally) and the scent of tart bitter grapefruit and clear sharp bergamot greeted my nostrils. This is a citrusy scent, however there is something else in here; something almost “vintage” in the way it FEELS (like an old school fougere almost, but not quite). As it begins to smooth out, dry neroli and warm orange flowers blend to create a very unisex aroma framed with a beautiful verbena scent. Now it is more subtle (than sauvage) but utterly gorgeous. More floral than citric, with just enough “green” to be down to earth. It is almost like walking through a citrus grove in bloom, on a VERY hot day (so the scent hangs heavy but itself is NOT) as a warm wind caresses you and the sun shines on your face. The warm (almost powdery) amber gives it a very comfortable ending and it rests softly, but persistently, on my skin. Many citrus scents fade quickly, and my skin is notorious for eating light springlike florals; but here all the players get “equal time” and after the citruses begin to fade, then the blossoms fall off (as blossoms will) and the utter beauty of the surrounding greens and sweet crumbly resin remain close to the skin with a clean and comfortable scent. Despite the “floral” name, NS is good for anyone; and if you are looking for something nice, not too loud but still natural and refreshing with quality and a hint of nostalgia…you may like this one. I do…I just wish it “stuck around” longer!
    Sillage: okay
    Longevity: fleeting

Is this worth the full price of a bottle at retail? Well…that depends: if you are buying for projection and longevity, probably NOT; however, if you want something that is amazingly natural smelling and utterly gorgeous…then YES! NEROLI SAUVAGE, to me, is more something I would wear for a “pick-me-up” scent and my own private pleasure, as opposed to something that makes a statement or garners compliments.

Creed NEROLI SAUVAGE is a cheerful, clean and refreshing aromatic blend which would be great for the hot summer just around the bend!
Neither very wild, nor very neroli, however, NEROLI SAUVAGE opens with a bright burst of bergamot tempered with a bit of grapefruit. The drydown is very smooth and lightly floral with low sillage and, as advertised, suitable for gents and dames, guys and dolls, lads and lassies. Hermaphrodites and transvestites, too!
From the name one might have expected–I certainly did–a heavier presentation of neroli. Not so. I actually found the opening neroli of FANTASIA to be much more pronounced than that of NEROLI SAUVAGE!
Quibbles over the name aside, I find NS to be a pleasant, entirely enjoyable and wearable aromatic floral. Unfortunately, the beauty is shortlived, so I won’t be adding this happy omnisex splashable frag to my collection.

Although it’s not very creative or original, Neroli Sauvage is a superb citrus fragrance. It starts with a giant blast of what smells like oranges and oakmoss, which instantly makes you feel cheerful. The citrus lasts about an hour, drying down to a very nice sandalwood and oakmoss accord. My only complaint is that Neroli Sauvage only lasts about 4 -5 hours on my skin, and that’s with 6 or 7 spritzes. However, this is definitely a worthy purchase, as the materials it’s made of seem to be of exquisite quality. It’s one of the best citrus fragrances I’ve ever smelled, right up there with Eau Sauvage and Eau du Sud. I’d give it an 8 out of 10.
