Finally Fragrantica is listing this great company which had it’s ups and downs but still produces some of my favourite nostalgic perfumes , which I have grown up with like any other Egyptian 🙂

Chabrawichi is an Egyptian Brand, it used to make many perfumes back in the days but it went thru many changes over the years, it has a very famous cologne called “555” which is available in Every house in Egypt, a lemon scent that is used as a refreshing cologne or a sanitizer sometimes, this scent was used by mainly all the elder woman in the family, last of them was my grandma till she died in 1989.
This scent is discontinued, i’ve only seen pictures of it, never got the chance to try it. Surprisingly i came across this post because i was checking their website today and found that they are presented here by 2 scents. Also surprisingly i learned that they have new perfume editions on their website, but over the past few years i was never able to see any of those in the stores, only the 555 and the Lavender Cologne are sold on supermarkets.

OMG, nicoleta1, you are right! My mother had it back in Russia about 35 years ago. In my memory of this perfume it was strong, unusual and very good. It was an Arabian perfume, not French. I was waiting for someone to put it here. Wouldn’t it be interesting to try it again?
