Olfactive Inspiration:
Nebula photographs, outer space and synesthesia (vision to smell)
How to translate the atmosphere of a Nebula in a fragrance? Through a
synesthetic process, Oliver immersed himself in his laboratory, exploring
a wide palette of raw materials to link the colors and texture of each
nebula into olfactive notes.
Graphics
A white lacquered bottle with a methacrylate lens embedded above the
photograph of each Nebula. The fragrances are cased in a transparent
methacrylate box and protected with a foam, showcasing each bottle, as
if we saw them from a window seat in a spaceship.
NEBULA 2 – CARINA

An unknown planet, populated entirely by endless
forests, bathed in a cold blue light air filled with
minerals, greens from recently discovered space
flowers, electric yellows, deep chiaroscuros and
metallic reflections. Just one spritz of Nebula 2 delivers
an unprecedented vegetable ecstasy. An adrenaline
effect as if we observed a galaxy not too far away…

honestly I dont like this scent at all, the opening is very clear citrusy scent but smells sweaty dirty man, it is so sour and for me, fresh is not equal to sour. a very wired scent but also makes me reminds of Cool Water by Davidoff

I received my free sample of this about a week ago, and wow. This is…. Very unique. It’s vegetable-y, sweetish, vetiver-y… I could go on and on but the point is this is a very original and interesting scent which I find much more masculine than feminine. Lasted forever on my skin and had good development too. I would recommend it to individuals who want something unique.

My immediate thought was it is a more masculine fragrance; the bursting lime, citrus and woodsy green notes…very fresh, but has an interesting depth to it, and is unlike anything else I have experienced.
The dry down is softer and perhaps more feminine(perhaps some white musk, jasmine or gardenia peeking through) – my scarf smells very pleasant the day after.
Truly intriguing. Now I want to sample Nebula 1!

I just received my sample today. I’ve never been a real big fan of citrus scents, truthfully I was hoping Nebula 1 which would of be more up my ally. So my take on this is is is a very natural smelling citrus, which in my opinion is very good. I get a lot of lime and grapefruit with the lime peel and grapefruit peel mixed with vetiver and woodsy notes with hints of sage. Actually I like it but more for a man.

I received this product through their giveaway (thank you, fragrantica!). It is a vetiver bomb on my skin, and I love that. The citrus notes, especially grapefruit, add a certain sharpness but I still get a damp earthy vibe from this scent. I think it will make a good evening spring/summer fragrance.

Just got my very generously sized sample of 10ml from the giveaway.
This smells like a basket of freshly picked ecological vegetables, very unique and lovable.
A slight comparison to Aqua Fahrenheit by Dior because of the grapefruit, however they are nothing alike in the whole scheme of the picture.
I can only recommend you trying this out, it’s something really different, in a good way that is.

Spectacular fragrance! Recently I had the chance to try it and also to briefly meet its author in Madrid, and I think he made Nebula 2 in his own image and likeness: both creator and creature are full of personality, integrity and an irresistible devotion to explore the unknown. Both are incredibly refreshing. Both have lots of interesting things to say. And both are here to stay.
Rules are made to be disobeyed, but one needs to have talent to do it right, and talent is something you don’t learn or buy. Mr. Valverde has plenty of it.
