“An unknown planet, populated entirely by endless forests, bathed in a cold blue light air filled with minerals, greens from recently discovered space flowers, electric yellows, deep chiaroscuros and metallic reflections. Just one spritz of NEBULA 2 delivers an unprecedented vegetable ecstasy. An adrenaline effect as if we observed a galaxy not too far away.” – a note from the brand.

Scary robots! Sharply metallic futurist blackcurrant with an undercurrent of aggressively alien synthy musk. As an standard-model Earth-dwelling mammal, it made me uncomfortable – it kept waiting for it to mellow out or present something organic and recognisable which I could hold onto for dear life, but this one is a no-compromise proposition – you have to go all in to really admire it. I just couldn’t find a foothold (nose hold?) on its shiny steely exterior and the sheer ruthlessness of the citrus/melon/florals, which are transmuted into something truly strange, for long enough to relax into it. Bitter galbanum also coming on strong and twisting my arm as usual. Overall just a bit of a bully – projection and longevity both strong – and not really my speed. Certainly bold and distinctive, unisex (gender is irrelevant in scented space suits like this one), certainly forward-looking. It reminded me weirdly of Miller Harris Cassis en Feuille – but whereas that one’s blackcurrant, greens and florals read as stunningly natural, this one really did make me think of space pods and replicators, and not in a good way. Overall it just chilled and alienated me I am afraid.

Definitely different, mix of complex scents but still has that Oliver veggie undertone. Decent longevity and sillage combined with uniqueness make this bottle worthy.

I can’t say this one evokes the storyline for me, either. But it is interesting aquatic themed veggie-tinged icy fresh scent

I am pleasantly surprised to have smelled Carina after having received a 2ml sample with my order of Resina and Vetiverus.
This could be alien intergalactic in the sense that it is an artisanal fragrance pretending to be mainstream (normally it is vice versa) yet setting it apart from either category.
When I spray it, it opens with blackcurrant and white florals swiftly moving into the ozonic realm out of which I can clearly smell the melon alongside a somewhat weakening citrus melange with chamomile and elder flower. Then all of a sudden it moves from ozonic to tranquillity…. which to me is a blend of chamomile, citrus and hints of melon.
When I first saw the picture of the bottle, I was scared and would have never dared to have blind bought it but after having sampled it, I must say it wears nicely on the skin and transitions well; taking Unidentified Perfumery Object status, hovering on oceans and becoming ozonic (Anyone seen ‘Flight of the Navigator’ where the UFO changes blue?) and then finally lands on Earth. Imagine the smell of yuzu and people washing clothes in the stream with soap where there are chamomile flowers growing. The ratio of the soapiness is very low so it’s not as bothersome as I find soapy fragrances to be.
This is what artisanal fragrances should be about. I really like how the perfumer was able to put me into an imaginative mood. Longevity has been great, giving me over 8 hours of creamy chamomile infused with citrus skin. Very nice!

This fragrance truly matches the bottle! You will feel like you are in a sterile space suit in a sterile spaceship in outer space, surrounded by very non-earthly atmospheric gasses that smell weird because they are unfamiliar.
It starts out with a plasticky-ness and a metallic tinge, and it just smells 100% completely synthetic, yet I love it. I love perfumes like that. Well actually, this smells nothing like perfume in any traditional sense of the word. But it’s not too hard to wear because it also has an aquatic cologne sort of vibe, like eventually you step out of the spaceship and onto some kind of planet that is more wet than Earth. It’s entire surface is covered in green trees and lush foliage, and at least 50% of the surface is covered in abnormally clear turquoise water. A breathtaking primordial landscape! The fragrance has a happy and heavenly feel to it.
This might just be the most artistic perfume I have ever worn. Not for everyone maybe, but I personally think highly of it and would absolutely enjoy wearing it.
