dannysmom, yes!!! Thank you!! I am so glad I am not the only one who immediately thought of Clinique Happy with this!! Nashi Blossom is nice enough and a safe frag, but having worn Happy (many bottles worth) when it was new to the market, and while this scent has a slight ‘happy’memory for me..but Nashi Blossom is nothing new. There is also a Tory Burch frag that is also similar, and a few others. So while Nashi Blossom is a nice, fresh, clean, crisp scent, it is nothing new or original. Not great on longevity, but at least you won’t have to worry about filling a room with this one. Would work really well in the heat and humidity.

Boring and normal at the first sniff, nothing so special, but you will miss it for a while…
I got this because it’s limited edition and I’m a Jo Malone lover. I used to collect Jo Malone. Youtubers recommended the 2016 version so many times, then luckily re-launched this year. I blind bought it, and leave it for a while. Until one day I smelled this on a lady standing next to me on the bus. I felt like it’s so fresh, clean and cute. Yes, “cute”, the lady was wearing sporty outfits and definately not young, like aged 40 or up. I still thought that’s a cute scent and I remembered that’s my Nashi blossom cologne. Fresh, clean and powdery makes it has some depth to it. As a clean scent, rarely I got powdery feeling, also Nashi blossom blended it well, very much in balance with all the notes, I think that’s why I felt normal at the first sniff, no “ wow” for me. But very much like a go-to scent, perfect pick for summer, not childish or native coz that powdery hint into it. I could say it’s a cozy scent and unique as a limited edition, I got one more a big bottle backup while on sale online, very good deal.

So I got samples of each blossom limited edition scent and so far tried this one and cherry blossom! Cherry blossom wins over the Nashi

To me, this one is considered a “safe” and “soft” fragrance. If you are used to “heavy”, strong and “intense” scents, of course this one will not get your vote for sure 🙂 Although there is nothing special or unique about it, compared to other well known Jo Malone ones, and it may remind people of many “similar” fragrances out there, Nashi Blossom still floats on top among other well done perfumes for its QUALITY.
I have tested a lot of fragrances from different brands (much cheaper in price compared to Jo Malone’s) and they may seem to smell “similar” to this one in scents or notes, but the way each fragrance develops and “fades” can set them apart from each other. “You pay for what you get” actually still applies in this case 🙂
Reviewing Jo Malone fragrances is like reviewing any popular CD album. There will be hit songs and there will be mediocre ones in that album. But overall, is it still considered a great album in general or not?
Athough this one can not compare to many other famous and well done colognes from Jo Malone perfume house, it is still a good fragrance compared to many other brands (with similarity in notes and smell). I still like and enjoy it very much. Of course, once again, I tend to like fragrances that are not a crowd pleaser anyway 🙂
Nashi Blossom and Silk Blossom are my favorite ones out of the Blossom line because of their “alike-ness” in scents (Sakura Cherry Blossom, Plum Blossom and Osmanthus Blossom are TOO loud and sweet to my nose). Nashi Blossom is very fresh, bright and up-lifting with light floral scents and just gently “sweet” with a touch of powdery effect in the dry down. It is NOT a “fruity” or heavily “sweet” fragrance with heavy flowers as the others Blossom.
Nashi is SIMPLE, pleasant, leans more toward the feminine side (I would NOT recommend this one as an unisex fragrance), cheerful and perfect for spring and hot summer as a non-offensive daytime fragrance when you can’t quite seem to make up your mind yet about what to wear. Its longevity lasts well and stays lingered on my skin for hours. Sillage is a little “shy”, because again, it is a LIGHT cologne! NOT everyone can easily spray on an intense fragrance on a daily basis 🙂 And I think half of the population is the fan of “tuberose” while the other half may prefer “crisp” scents (like this one perhaps) 🙂
I believe a new relaunched Nashi Blossom just came out as a limited edition (3.4 oz 100 ml clear bottle with Neon Green label and a White cap). I’d rather buy this one than any one out of 5 from the new release “English Field” Limited Edition.

My husband brought it today as a gift. I loved it. Sublte and pleasant. Confortable to wear.

I was not impressed at all. Fresh perfume, nothing special, there are many similar fragrances on the market. Definitely it is not worthy to spend money on it. Scent is very cheap, reminds me perfumes from Marshal’s stores. Save your money, and invest in exclusive fragrances.

I reluctantly tested this today, knowing some of Jo Malone’s most alluring scents evaporate as quickly as I fall in love with them 🙁
It’s delicious and fresh, but of course, is gone within an hour. I’m now left behind with a wisp of pretty, musky flowers~
I didn’t get a ton of citrus, lemon seems to not be very prominent on my skin – I mostly felt the bright pear blossom and softness of the rose. No dusty roses here, felt like the dewy pink kind of rose you can smell first thing in the morning when the mist is still covering everything.
It took everything in me to NOT buy this! I think it’s beautiful, sheer and just graceful.. sigh.. I will say there’s something SO familiar about the opening, which was not there after the first half hour. Don’t think I was getting Clinique’s “Happy” but someeeethiiing definitely felt familiar. Which I don’t mind, but it’s sparked my curiosity.
So sad to watch this beauty fade

I bought a bottle of Nashi blossom today, it’s a pleasant, clean smelling summer/spring scent. It starts off with pear and green apple notes then dries down to a soft musk. Very light and fresh, not over powering with citrus which is a good thing. I do find some similarities with similar “clean” type scents such as Happy by Clinique and maybe even Calyx. I think Nashi Blossom will be good mixed with other Jo Malone colognes such as Wood sage and sea salt, Peony and blush suede and even white jasmine and mint.

What is happening to this company? I LOVE Jo Malone. The old scents are fantastic, and even the latest releases have been different and exciting. I was incredibly excited to try this one, and it’s such a let-down.
Basically, it’s a watered-down Clinique Happy. I have nothing more to say..

I’ve finally tested this out, and I’m disappointed. I get too much citrus, and even though the notes say “lemon”, it doesn’t really come across as lemon to me. Even upon drydown, I can’t catch enough of the pear blossom, which is what I really, really wanted. Normally, my skin doesn’t cling to any citrus, but for this one, it did. I feel bad. I had put one on order. I’ll test it once more since the weather has turned really warm. Maybe this will change the perfume’s character.
It just occurred to me, and I’ll have to try them side by side, but Kiehl’s came out with a Nashi Blossom and Pink Grapefruit a while back. I was not impressed by their line of scents either, but I want to see if these are similar.

I’m very excited to try this new Jo Malone cologne. I’ve been a bit obsessed with Jo Malone fragrances lately and this sounds nice and very wearable for spring and summer also would be good for mixing with other Jo Malone colognes…can’t wait to try. I think it’s limited edition?
Update: I bought the 100ml bottle as it is limited edition. It is a lovely fresh scent – it is in line with Happy or Calyx by Clinique except that the dry down is a bit musky.
