Fragrance Review For Mysterieuse by Guli
Top Notes carnation, coriander, saffron black currant
Middle Notes Jasmine Rose lily, honeysuckle ylang-ylang
Base Notes Musk, woody notes, sandalwood cedar
This is a hard to find treasure. It’s not as mysterious as it’s moniker. It’s a floral chypre of touching sweetness and beauty. It opens with a carnation and saffron a touch of spicy coriander and fruity black currant. There is a lot of flowers to enjoy: jasmine, rose, lilies, honeysuckle and ylang ylang. They are each detectable but the rose plus honeysuckle note are strongest. I also really enjoy the jasmine scent. The dry down is woodsy incredibly woodsy. It’s got so much wood that it wears like a man’s cologne. The sandalwood is amazing. There is also musk. It’s a fragrance with a male and female dual nature. It’s very unisex. It smells expensive, glamorous and perfect for formal evening wear. Beautiful.
