Abdul Karim Al Faransi’s ‘Musk Tahara Monoi’ is way too sweet for me but I don’t dislike it. It smells like sugared vanilla coconut. Even though there is no coconut listed, it’s very tropical. If you like it sweetly tropical, and heavy on the vanilla, then this is for you.
Edit: The dry-down just gets sweeter. The coconut/tropical element goes and it just leaves sickening vanilla that just won’t quit and projects like a mouthy mofo. I think it’s giving me diabetes.

I recommend this for guy who likes clean creamy sugary musk based fragrances.
One of the best musk blends i have tried so far. It is very sexy, unisex, adored by women and longevity and projection are just average.

I got my sample today and I really enjoy it. The opening is very warm and in a way very comfortable and velvety soft. I can sense some milky toffe in it and it is at the same time very fresh, like a breeze of beachy air. This fragrance is really comforting and harmonic. It is sweet but in a discreet way. They say it is unisex and I believe so to and I also think that this perfume can be worn by young and old. Very well done by Al Faransi

One word: BEAUTIFUL! I am surprised that this perfume house is not more heavily reviewed. Perhaps it is somewhat of an undiscovered gem.. I discovered it after watching a youtube video in which it was mentioned, so I decided to contact the seller and order some samples. From all of the samples, Musk Tahara Monoi was my favourite, so I went ahead and ordered a full bottle. Firstly the presentation is beautiful. The crystal bottle contains a glass dipper which makes the fragrance easy to apply. The bottle is simple, yet beautiful and eye catching. I have been a fan of ASAQ Misk Jism for many years but AKAF Musk Tahara Monoi replaces it and has now become my new favourite musk. It is a beautiful soft heavenly scent which has a subtle pinch of coconut sweetness in a modern twist. It is subtle and not overbearing. Unlike ASAQ Misk Jism, Musk Tahara Monoi is not sticky and glides easily onto the skin. It smells soft and romantic. I really love this musk. I have been using it for a few weeks now and I am very much in love with it. It layers well with other fragrances too. This house is based in Birmingham, UK and I found delivery to be swift and the vendor to be extremely pleasant and speedy in all communications. I also purchased some agarwood (oud) chips from them which I am very happy with and make my home smell divine. I highly recommend this lovely lovely fragrance and it is my new favourtie perfume..thank you AKAF…
