Description
“Musk Al-Qurtubi means Musk of Cordoba. To understand the smell of this fragrance, we must go back to the history of the magnificent Al-Andalus which Cordoba is the capital. This musk describes perfectly the charm, sweetness, gardens and Worldwide resplendence of this city whose name in arabic is Qurtuba. This marriage of white musk and 1001 flowers of Cordoba offers a sweet bouquet with a thick texture ideal for both ladies and gentlemen.” – a note from the brand.

This (apparently discontinued) fragrance was included as a free bottle in one of my AKAF orders, and I kinda wish it was still around so I could get the deluxe bottle. It’s fairly straightforward — floral, citrus, musk. That’s it. But it’s executed well. Solidly unisex, but I like it as a man. And on clothes, as it dries down, it takes on a “fresh laundry” vibe. Seriously…that’s what it is to my nose, and it’s great. It surrounds you in an aura of freshness. Very good stuff.

Soapy. Manly. Honey with some lemon. It sounds weird but it’s a creative musk. I like it

Extremely well blended attar a bouquet of musk tart zesty citrus and subtle honeyed florals perfect to layer with MFK AUF or MFK ACF gives both these compositions an added richness and a kiss of sweetness

i adore this one. all of AKAF oils have above average complexity and development, but this is particularly wonderful: starts slightly lemony and rather floral, and then morphs over time into this entirely addictive, clean-sweet-musky skin scent. i don’t think i’ve sniffed my arm as compulsively as with this in a long time.
