Description

“MUGLER Cologne is fresh and intoxicating, with light and energizing green and citrus notes. The cologne evokes traditional eau de cologne with its pure fresh scent. But while drawing from the past, MUGLER Cologne is resolutely of the future. Simultaneously elegant and seductive, this innovative cologne perfume balances the crisp sparkle of traditional men’s cologne with a white musk, making it freshly familiar yet sensually unsettling and tenacious. Because of its duality, this unique creation can be worn as a men’s perfume as well as a women’s fragrance. Available in a signature bottle with sleek curved lines to refill again and again and again.” – Mugler official info.

TAKE ME OUT is an intense Cologne that blends the brightness of an orange blossom with the freshness of a shiso leaf. Luminous and sparkling, TAKE ME OUT is twisted by the secret “P” note to release a surging energy that bathes you in light.

The fragrance is available as a 100ml Eau de Toilette from August 1. 2018.

This is the 2nd one I’ve tried out of the new five colognes.
This smells like a girl at the beach. It smells like SPF30 applied over the top of some basic girl’s perfume like Lucky You or something. Very uplifting though, it makes me smile and think of Summer. Performance is pretty light and i had totally forgotten about it after 3 or 4 hours, at which point it was a barely noticeable powdery skin scent.
For me personally this one is too feminine to own, but i could see myself buying it for my wife.

It isn’t a strictly green neroli, it’s a bit powdery and not as straightforward as the real bloom. I find Take me Out to be the least interesting of all the “colors”, it lacks a bit of personality.
A mellow neroli, close to skin, safe and inoffensive.
I haven’t tried yet but perhaps if mixed with Fly Away( yellow) it would give dimension to this sort of flat composition.
The middle and dry down is quite similar to the Pink color, musky, clean.
Of all the five colors, orange is in the bottom.

I sampled a few from this line, and this one was the least appealing to me. It smelled too sweet for me like an orange popsicle. I think there are much better orange blossom fragrances out there such as Jo Malone’s or Serge Lutens if you are looking for that fragrance. This is more gourmand, I think. I much prefer the green, yellow, or blue to this one but don’t plan to purchase any of them.

Take Me Out is an aromatic floral. It features an orange blossom accord that I’d swear was dolled up with a little extra petitgrain, and a splash of the original Mugler Cologne. Not sure about the secret P note. I would think Plum or Plumeria, as I can almost sense some kind of sweet freshening element in the deepest depths, striving to provide a little lift and juiciness.
The orange blossom essence is very reminiscent of Armani Code for Women—giving this fragrance a pretty strong feminine dominance.
The style of composure here has a very distinct profile to it. Very simple—and heady in a potentially haunting fashion. Halloween is coming up. This is the exact type of thing that you get choked out by, while passing some women in public who bathed herself in it, to immensely boost the sense of femininity surrounding her.
I can imagine the nightmare of being in a packed movie theater and not being able to move my seat, and someone next to me has drenched themselves in this. Do it—kill me now!
Not saying that no one will like this. As I speculate, this is a popular style for certain women. Your wife might get in the car one day and choke you out. However, I think this is far too simple to please more sophisticated tastes—or appeal to any heavily worn & weathered sensories.
It’s simple and feminine—and will potentially make you go genderless if you’re exposed to too much of it?

The most feminine of the new line.

Take Me Out (Orange) has a suntan lotion vibe, similar to Coppertone and the ilk. In fact, the moment I smelled this I was immediately reminded of Fire Island by Bond No 9 (another “suntan lotion” fragrance). If you are familiar with that smell, you’ll know what to expect with this release.
Because of this, Orange definitely leans on the feminine side.
Having said that, I really enjoy this fragrance. It’s youthful and fun, and basically smells like going to the beach.
    A very nice summer fragrance.

i know it’s immature of me but i can’t be the only one laughing at “the secret P note.”
