Description
This is a story about a man who you may have encountered somewhere near Java. People say he is tall, with skin that has been tanned by the sun and tattooed by the passage of time. His blue gaze plunges into the viewfinder of his Leica, and his white shirt is perpetually wrinkled. He can often be spotted on the plains of the Garut regions, speeding along his old Dutch bicycle.
But who is he? The refined notes of Vetiver and Cardamom that linger around the village bend or beside the rice paddy are a reminder that he has passed through.
Mr. Vetiver is an elegant fragrance revealing the freshness of Vetiver in a spicy and delicate accord.
Mr. Vetiver was launched in 2014.

There’s a reason why there is a “Mr.” in the title (but I wanted to try it anyway). I’ll give the rest of this sample to my husband. As expected from this house, smells like quality with very good performance.

Weak and not a pleasant fragrance IMO. I couldn’t wait to wash it off. Not for me, at least on my skin. DO NOT blind but this one. I received as a free sample and won’t be buying a full bottle.

I agree with Q80 – it is a typical vetiver frag and the chillies and cardamom fight back and forth with the vetiver overpowering it at times. It is a very pleasant scent nonetheless but not a vetiver standard.
Scent: 8/10
Longevity: 8/10
Sillage: 6/10
Cost ratio: 8/10
Overall: 7.5/10
Definitely check it out.

I bought Suma Oriental, and got this for a sample…Hard to detect the vetiver, but overall, it is a good oriental – spicy scent. It’s a so-so to use, but not for a purchase paying full price.

Now Mr. Vetiver is peppery cardamom and vetiver and allot of chilies to confuse the vetiver typical note. Some basil, limes, and geranium to get it out of a typical vetiver direction.
It’s ok but remains a typical vetiver fragrance to me.
