This is a good fragrance for the price.
Sour citrusy and strong opening with smooth ambroxan base. Maybe because of the ambroxan / salty accords people are saying it is invictus clone while in fact it is a defferent scent. The powerfull sharp lime and bitter yuzu balance the ambrox bubblegummy sweet effect in a good way.
It is pleasant, modern, fresh, complements getter and affordable at discounters.
    Acceptable performance and longevity.

Uhm, I’m a big fan of original L’Eau Par, but this lacks depth for me. It’s fresh, yeah, slightly sweet undertone with some woodiness to it. Easily unisex spring/summer fragrance. But it smells so flat and non Kenzo to me.
    To me 4/10.

We need to have an option to keep a record of people who leave misleading opinions. If you think this smells like Invictus or is a 99% copy then I can’t take your reviews seriously

It has zero similarity to L’eau par Kenzo pour homme. Zero! Nada! So I can’t understand why it’s called L’eau Kenzo Intense.

    Yes!
I must admit that it makes the impression of being a new and likable summer scent. It is not weak regarding longevity so that’s a plus as well compared to other options from this house.
To my nose this is not comparable to PR Invictus. Yes, it is a sweet scent as well but the depth is different.
Nonetheless I’d rather pass on this because I’m not a fan of too much sweetness going on.
If you can ignore or get past its syrupy kool-aid notes then it really is a nice minty, cedar, yuzu combination.

Nice begining, excellent top notes. However, after 40 min becomes a simple generic scent – fresh wood. Good longevity, limited sillage.

Released this year (march of 2015), this version was introduced in the market as a fascinating and refreshing fragrance.
L’Eau Kenzo Intense is a limited edition of the L’Eau Par Kenzo collection, which was launched almost 2 decades ago. I don’t know why they changed the name. However, if we translate, L’Eau Par Kenzo means “water by Kenzo”, while L’Eau Kenzo is closer to “Kenzo water”, which means that, what was once an interpretation, now became an affirmation. Either way, it’s the kind of change that I think is unnecessary.
The official composition brings marine accord, lime and yuzu, in the head. Then, notes of black basil and Lotus flower are blended in the heart. Finally, cedar and vetiver at the base.
The result is an aromatic and floral fragrance (in my opinion), that reaches the skin in a sour and slightly minty manner. It is very easy to notice the nuances of yuzu and lime at this stage. After a while, a drastic change occurs and the scent shows itself more floral, with great presence of the Lotus flower. When it reaches this stage, does not change anymore. I haven’t met the female version yet, but this one can be easily worn by women.
With respect to the projection, is very good at the start, but then, almost disappears without a trace (literally). But I can’t complain about the longevity, since the scent got stuck on the skin for many hours, albeit very close.
The bottle kept the pattern, with a dark blue color, becoming very beautiful. Unfortunately, is another one of those fragrances that are coming to market with the promise of more intensity, but do not match expectations. Works very well as an Eau de Toilette, but the term “Intense” only serves to draw attention.

Sadly i agree, this is so close to Rabanne Invictus, maybe some notes are in diference, a sweet overdose in invictus, and maybe an stronger floral vibe in kenzo, .. strange coincidence.

Recently purchased this, and it is a solid and inoffensive spring/summer fragrance that starts off with a burst of yuzu before settling down pretty quickly (at least on my skin) to a moderate vetiver and cedar in the base. Longevity and sillage are both weak to moderate. Smells really pleasant and is perfect for casual wear in the heat. 7/10

A 99% copy of Paco Rabanne Invictus. The differences are almost non-existent. An overdose of modern salty aquatic molecules. This is absolutely not the style of Kenzo!

I was stearing at the boxes of this perfume on a store shelf for few months. somehow Kenzo distributed them a way before it was supposed to be presented, that is why testers were not supplied. for me, as a l’eau par kenzo fan, it was truly hard to visit the stores every week to check the availability of testers, because I gave myself a word not to make a blind purchases so many times. finally this week testers have arrived. disappoinment. complete. probably it was my mistake to expect a intense version of the first l’eau par Kenzo. this one has nothing in common with the original. however, if someone will be seraching for a new perfume, it will be ok. I couldn’t understand the idea. why Intense if it’s a first among L’Eau Kenzo (without “par”), and why it’s completely different if it’s a Intense of L’eau par Kenzo. well anyway, don’t make a blind buy.
