Very disappointed , expecting an ozonic note , but just smell coumarin and it is intensely sweet and heavy a bit like Amen , ThierRy Mugler (SORRY if my spelling bad) . I dont understand what is masculine about this fragrance. Yeah it smells like you are on a mountain standing down wind of someone who just bathed in a ton of Amen mixed with Pure Game by addidas.

Mountain Air goes on masculine, and is probably the closest Demeter offering to the Aromatic Fougère group. A clean outdoorsy lavender-citrus-oakmoss with freshly grown herbs sprinkled in. It wears close, so easily wearable for a woman also. In situations where the Eternity for men or Drakkar’s of this world are too intense, this is a refreshing alternative. The spice scent-scape on this one reminds me a bit of ‘Sander for Men’ by Jil Sander.

A nice smell, sort of a love child of Bright Chrystal and Aqua Digio. Fresh, soft, slightly sweet. Becomes more and more sweet on the drydown.

I bought a few different Demeter splashes that sounded aquatic/marine/ozonic, and Mountain Air was one of them. I think it actually might be my favorite of all the scents I’ve tried so far. It’s cool, brisk, and ozonic, wet. Not necessarily airy though! It’s pretty strong in terms of longevity and sillage, so use sparingly. Although fairly unisex, I will say it does settles down into a “men’s cologne” smell, but I don’t mean this necessarily pejoratively. It’s a perfect day cologne for the old 9-to-5 or running errands on the weekend. Nothing extraordinary, but neither is it a miss. It’s just… refreshing. This is one to take on trips or keep in your bag.

I love Demeter’s outdoor scents like rain, snow, and ocean, so when I read about this one I had to try it. It came in the mail yesterday and I’m very pleased. It’s definitely a unisex scent. It reminds me a little of some men’s colognes, but in a very natural, fresh way. It’s pretty enough for a girl to wear, too.

I love this. It’s very very ozonic but it does sort of smell like fresh air. Very refreshing and light.

Has anyone given this a test drive? Any feedback?
