Description

Moramanga takes us to the heart of Africa with an aim to explore its best ingredients—velvety vanilla kissing intense tuberose! Top notes incorporate a floral choir leaving an elegant, powdery trail. Flowers of jasmine, gardenia and Japanese iris fill the first fragrant wave warmed with resins in the heart: tolu balm, Ethiopian opoponax and benzoin, resting on a rich and exotic base of tuberose from Madagascar, Polynesian ylang-ylang, Madagascar vanilla and Asian musk. Moramanga was launched in 2012. Moramanga was created by Elise Juarros and Rosa Vaia.

Moramanaga is named after a city in Madagascar (where the famous vanilla comes from) and means “easy to beautify” . It is a very nicely done tuberose that is not so cloying as most tuberose-heavy scents I know. Would it be the iris, the vanilla or the opoponax making this a more accessible tuberose?

One of the best white florals that exist! Gardenia and tuberose galore with a hint of supporting musk. Must love tuberose to love this.

Gorgeous! I’m better at comparing to perfumes rather than notes- so to me, this is like Michael Kors and Lush Lust combined, with a splash of Lys Soleia. So beautiful 🙂 and lasts !

    Moramanga 3.4 oz Parfum
    Square black velvet bottle.
To put Moramanga in perspective, this is what you would get if you decided to combine BubbleGum Chic and Les Nereides Opoponax together and add a huge dollop of creamy ylang-ylang to the mix.It echoes Isabey Gardenia at times with the heavy Ylang presence and white floral but sweeter.
Sillage is noticeable, and longevity on me was 5 hours. On some people it could be considered too big and cloying. So lithe, pared down perfumistas do not apply! This is a full force voluptuous fragrance. Those in search of the most gigantic sweet white tuberose floral experience you can find..it could be Moramanga. Its gorgeous

Oh wow I love this perfume!!! I wish I would have known about it earlier!! I saw moonsparrow mention it on a thread and it peaked my intrest since I love white florals. Then after reading reviews I blind bought a 3.4oz bottle:) At first spray this is Bubblegum chic but intensified by 50%! It continues to smell like bubblegum chic for about 20 minutes and soon starts to remind me of givenchy organza. It opens very bazooka bubblegum like with that minty gummy tuberose. Then gardenia, heady, thick, waxy joined with opulent , narcotic Jasmine and ylang ylang!! I’m mesmerized! The iris gives a buttery, waxy base that I adore. There is a resinous almost smoky vanilla dry down that is georgeous . The Jasmine and bubblegum notes stick all the way to the end. Stunning! Intense, sweet, heady! About an hour into wearing this I smell that anamalic sex note that I love but it’s faint. Long lasting . It lasts 8 hours on my skin and sillage is incredible ! If you want a unique sweet white floral then you have to try this! It was a great blind buy!

With a star lineup of tuberose, jasmine and gardenia you really know what you are in for – a white floral bomb, here flanked by ylang-ylang and vanilla. Sadly it seems to make me a bit nauseous, it’s just too much.

Powerful, hypnotic and super-floral! Very exotic, intoxicating scent that attracts the summer, the summer evenings… harmonious scent particular! I feel very strong tuberose, the drydown but it overshadows doing to support the other notes listed, interesting perfume..! The sillage is enormous, good longevity!
    Sillage: 9./10
    Longevity: 8.5/10
    Scent: 7.5/10
    Overall: 7./10

Moramanga by Coquillete- Moonsparrow! What have you done to me? This is the most beautiful Gardenia fragrance you have sent me yet. Moonsparrow and I are on a quest to find that ONE Gardenia fragrance to rule them all, The ONE Gardenia fragrance to find them all, The ONE Gardenia fragrance to bring them all and in our hearts bind them!
Moramanga is a worthy contender. This fragrance is unequivocally beautiful. It has all the most beautiful flowers in it. It is a flower bouquet of a perfume. It is so gorgeous that if you gathered all the most beautiful women in the world of every nation and every race and placed them all in a juicer and smelled their essence, they all together will smell like Moramanga.
How can such beauty be contained within a bottle and be so liberally sprayed? Anyone who puts this on will immediately become even more beautiful, no matter how homely one could be. It is an absolutely gorgeous fragrance.
Gardenia is paired with other potent and popular flowers here that Gardenia is either magnified or subdued one cannot tell and in any case they each are projecting in equal measure. Most Gardenia fragrances are always paired or combined with other notes most likely Tuberose, Jasmine, Iris and Ylang, But none have been able to create the intense beauty of this Gardenia combination of common floral notes together with the resins and musk. Something truly special is going on here.
Coquillete really created a masterpiece that many folks still do not know about.
I declare that this is the most beautiful fragrance containing Gardenia in the known world.
If you are looking for a Gardenia fragrance and don’t mind it being mixed with a host of other gorgeous smelling flowers, resins and musk, look no further than Coquillete’s Moramanga. A beautiful, elegant and exquisite Masterpiece.
Sillage is Heavy. Longevity is 8 plus hours.
Thank you Moonsparrow for introducing me to this gorgeous perfume. Billions of hugs to you my dear friend.
A roaring standing ovation for Moramanga by Coquillete.

There is no better gardenia/tuberose. Period. And this coming from someone who raved about Estee Lauder’s Tuberose Gardenia, which now seems to me a pale imitation of the ghost of the shadow of tuberose/gardenia.
First beautiful blast is that sly vixen, gardenia, who is so difficult to capture and so desirable it has driven me to madness in the past – trying and discarding one so-called gardenia fragrance after another in pursuit of this elusive vixen. There is NO stinky green, sour, twiggy-smelling nonsense to interfere with the flowers here. It is flowers, nothing BUT the flowers. Tuberose gives the most stunning performance ever here and complements the gardenia’s sweet-n-sultry theatrics gorgeously.
These is a sweet floral to be sure, but I don’t get the powder at all; this is a fresh and refreshing paean to my most beloved flower. Just a smidgen of musk and ylang ylang pull it all together. Some kind of sorcery is at work here and I can’t wait to try Coquillete’s other fragrances.
    Estee who?

Sweet white floral with a tropical vibe. Very prominent gardenia and tuberose with hints of vanilla. The beginning is creamy while the dry down exposes a bit of powder but remains sweet. I don’t really get much of the other notes except for the flowers. It’s not spicy at all, just a gorgeous, sweet, elegant scent.

Coquillete Paris Parfum
Moramanga Coquillete for women and men

I have a sample of this i bought from indigo Perfumery in Cleveland. The tuberose is really prominent when it first goes on me, with a hint of musk underneath it. In the dry down on me the gardenia comes out with the vanilla, and eventually it’s mostly a vanilla. I’m not sure which ingredient makes it smell like peanut butter crunch breakfast cereal during the first ten minutes, but I’ve never smelled opoponax, tolu balm, or benzoin on their own, so it’s probably one of them. Overall it has a sort of creamy, feeling in the nose. It doesn’t project much, but my nose stays sensitive to it throughout. I don’t know that I like it enough to buy it, but it’s very wearable. I generally hate musk because most formulations irritate my nasal passages, but in this one the musk seems pleasant to me. Definitely worth trying if you want to try a newer, strong floral that isn’t Flowerbomb.
