This one smells oddly of solvent to me. The odd note persists throughout the scent’s development.

A lovely jasmine (pikake) fragrance. It starts out smelling a little strange and musty. Eventually it becomes a resin and pikake perfume that stays pretty close to the skin. I think it’s comparable to Lyric Rain by the same company, but Lyric Rain is more of a jasmine soliflore and seems to be strictly jasmine where Moon Garden is more blended and the jasmine not so pronounced. I adore jasmine and like the stark jasmine of Lyric Rain, but Moon Garden would be a nice alternative.

Moon Garden is a very strange fragrance. It smells like jasmine and well, benzene. Maybe some antifreeze. The jasmine is not at all indolic. It’s clean to the point of verging on soapy.
