Description
“The garden of memories…where strong emotions flourish; the scent of a place, of a moment, of beloved skin.” Each of the fragrance is inspired by a past love story and a timeless French song, thus making a new creation, “receiving a new life, a new interpretation, through these fragrances.”
Mon Jardin d’Hiver (“fleur ephemere toujours toi dans Mon Jardin d’Hiver “) belongs to the fougere aromatic family of fragrances. It smells marine, salty and ozonic, representing memories of long walks with a lover by the sea.

Heart: lavender, rose
Base: amber, benzoin
The fragrances are available as 100 ml Eau de Parfum. Mon Jardin d’Hiver was launched in 2012. The nose behind this fragrance is Jean Jacques.

I’m generally not a fan of those cucumbery aquatics, but this is actually very nice. Not nice enough to lay out for a whole bottle, but certainly worth a decent review. “My Winter Garden” – yes, it has iciness about it, but also the promise of sunshine on an ambery base, with a wipe of something sweet (Benzoin?) to warm the bitter orange. Cucumber may be a cool “fruit”, but it evokes warmth, summer salads, salty air and sand. The lavender and rose are almost incidental, lost on the oceanic blast. I’m surprised this hasn’t been snapped up from the shelves, it reminds me a bit of New West without the skanky indolic Jasmine note. I can see the bright young things loving this on their acres of bronze skin when the leaves burst green again in Hyde Park. Lazy Sunday. It’s a happy, happy perfume note, goodbye winter, hello fun.
