I haven’t wore Habit Rouge in more than two decades, that don’t recall the actual smell of it back in the years. This new edition is nice, I need to see how evolves during the day.
So far I’m loving it and identifying it again. Welcome back Habit Rouge. This special edition is a nice concept, why not.. some people criticized that but I think is nice that Guerlain gives you the chance to personalize your item. Thumps up.

Although this fragrance was not launched until 2014, the batch code on my bottle (authentic from a Guerlain Exclusives counter) said 3Z01, which meant December 2013. I have been wearing this fragrance on the back of my left hand and the regular Habit Rouge EDT that I have from 2010 on the back of my right hand for over two hours now and noticed significant difference in the top notes between them.
While the top notes of my 2010 Habit Rouge EDT is sharp and more lemony, my 2013 Mon Habit Rouge Taillé sur Mesure is much rounder with a more noticeable Bergamot note that is a bit oily and slightly sweet to my nose. The heart of this edition is basically the same as the regular Habit Rouge but seems to be richer with a less distinguishable powdery rose note. The base of this edition seems to be slightly warmer as well with a smoother but richer leather note.
As I am comparing this edition with my 2010 Habit Rouge instead of a newer batch, I really cannot say that this edition is really different from the current regular Habit Rouge; however, I would say I love this edition more than my 2010 bottle.

Is this just the same habit rouge in a new bottle?

Mon Habit Rouge
Taillé Sur Mesure
MAY 2014. This year’s collector’s edition of Habit Rouge lets you do some of the work yourself. The classic Habit Rouge bottle comes in all-black glass decorated only with a thin red stripe along each side, like that on the outer side seam of a pair of tuxedo trousers. There’s no label on the bottle; instead the box contains a set of self-adhesive letters to customize your initials on the empty label space. The fragrance remains unchanged. 100 ml EdT, 86 €.

@ Sandrina – bamb : the bottle comes plain without any letters on it except the word “Guerlain” but a set of alphabet letters stickers are enclosed in order to choose your initials and put it on your bottle and feel it is tailored for you.I think you are right about T.w =Thierry Wasser..you are smart 🙂
