The opening of this fragrance on my skin is intensely mossy. It was like a throwback to the heady fragrances of the 1950s. But the sanalwood and patchouli quickly make their presence known, along with a warming amber. The fragrance that remains is a wonderfully contemporary and wearable woody-patchouli–particularly perfect for a sunny spring day or a warm wintry evening at home.

Mix 10 opens with soft amber, and this time it is accented with a sensual woody touch. Sandalwood is a little more present than patchouli, but both are understated and quietly seductive.
As this warms on the skin, sandalwood becomes like a beautifully dense carpet of lush velvet–very soft and naturally luxurious.
Platinum J fragrances are very simple in the number of ingredients, but are well layered and seem to linger while gently swirling, giving me a feeling of romantic deja vu.
