[edited] First blast: fresh and citrus,
Patchouli and orange, giving a GREAT fresh out-of-the-shower clean feeling. After a few moments, i can get the spicy side, with a dry cinnamon touch, along with the (also dry) sandalwood. All very synthetic, but still very good.
What makes it a little different from masculine fragrances out there is the tobacco touch. Kinda subtle, but perceptible in the background, warming up the scent. I sense an ambaric warm with the tobacco, but since is not listed, must be just an impression. The tobacco in this makes me remember of cigars (the whisky flavored ones, when the smoke is sweet and warm). Is ashy, but not in an ashtray way. Very “powerful man in a suit, smoking cigars and closing deals”.
Is not a One In A Million tipe of fragrance, and i bet that there must be a similar expensive very better crafted version out there, but since i don’t know it, MD is good enough for me.
You’ll get the ‘i know this one’ feeling, but is a great scent, nonetheless (considering the price, an amazing scent)
In my opinion, that’s the best kind of cologne for guys. Just a nice, clean, fresh scent, great for everyday use, but sexy enough to be used in a night out, or in an intimate moment.
Can’t say much about projection or longevity (cause my skin is VERY bad at fixating fragrances), but both are low. You would have to have it in the bag. I blame the “Mister” side, that evokes a man that does not stand out, but stays classy. You’ll feel it in a hug.
Safe for gifts or for the office.
