tashka – :
I’ve been really impressed with these fragrances so far. This one is predominantly a rose based perfume, plenty of bergamot in the top makes it a little sparkly, there’s no bitterness here as can be sometimes with bergamot, it’s a sweet sparkle. Musk rounds out the rose without detracting from the bergamot, but it’s not a warm or cosy scent. Lotus in the heart gives it a cool translucency that’s unique – very low sillage once again, but has a real strength in the notes that I don’t often associate with low sillage or skinscents. Awesome longevity, and again the heart notes are the real standouts here, rose and lotus are well balanced and it makes a very welcome change to the usual tea notes often used in conjuction with rose in these types of fragrances. In the drydown very light cedar becomes noticeable and there’s a slight amber that grows through the base gently. And presented in another beautiful bottle to sit on my dresser!
