Starts out on me with sandalwood and elemi on initial application and it comes on strong. It softens and the projection mellows a little after about 15 mins. I can then sense the cinnamon which give it a sense of oud but just hints of it. I can smell the resins, amber, frankincense and smoke. Basalica is very similar but softer and without the cinnamon. It is meditational without feeling like you are in a church. It lasts for over 8 hours over all. After about 3 hours, it is a skin scent. It is my favorite SS!
