A lovely grapefruit scent, crisp and herbal owing to the basil. As another reviewer said, I thought it was very masculine at first, but it softens into a clean scent. Because it is a citrus, it hasn’t got the greatest longevity, but with a lotion base on my skin, I can get 4-6 hours.
The 7 virtues fragrances are wonderful, with high quality fair-trade ingredients.
The owner was on Dragon’s Den seeking support for her company which funds women’s work in impoverished and war-torn areas of the world. The social conscience of this company is coupled with excellent products. I applaud them for this and thank them for fragrances I will continue to purchase.

9Years ago a friend brought our family some fruit. I talked about it with my sister. We both agreed it is an incredibly delicious citrus. I figured it’s a cross between an Asian Pomello and grapefruit probably grown and cultivated in California as most citrus fruits are.
It tastes sweeter, less bitter and acidic than a red grapefruit.
Trouble was, l was never able taste this again, let alone know the name of this hybrid fruit.
I am grateful l found its name through this perfume! It’s marketed as the Oroblanco (USA) or Sweetie Grapefruit to the rest of the world.
I bought the 7 virtues blend box and the minute cracked it open l could smell it! Taste is highly informed by smell so to me, it’s the next best thing to eating this fruit that has been eluding me all this time!
This particular perfume is very soft and is indeed very fresh in a citrus, herbal, cool, aquatic way. It’s also vaguely musky and is slightly powdery. The Basil note here is rendered quite peppery and mentholated with a bright lemon-lime finish. In the dry down there is a warm ambery mineral smell. This mineral smell reminds me of Terre d’Hermes
This perfume strongly resembles D&G Light Blue without the obvious floral notes. Or Truth by Calvin Klein. And to a lesser extent, any number of Issey Miyake perfumes.
This perfume smells very casual. It’s a daytime fragrance and l can imagine sporty or very active people gravitating to this.
Update: when l put this on skin…. I want to eat it. It’s this fresh citrus, mint like, lemon pepper, salty smell. I think suppresses appetite… At least for little while.

A Very FRESH and herbal scent. I like to wear this in the cooler months and when I want to feel crisp and clean! This perfume makes me feel confident – almost like I have a clear purpose in life.
This is a very unisex scent. I didn’t like this perfume for a really long time, as I thought it was too masculine. But then suddenly it grew on me. I fell head over heels! In my mind its a good sporty scent and/or a great a casual daily scent.I can pick out each individual note and I Love that about it.I also love that you can layer this scent with the 4 other scents they make!
I love the story behind The 7 Virtues fragrance company – I really respect them for what they stand for!
Lastly, I love the fact that this is one of the more natural scents you can buy. I know that I can wear it every day and its not as toxic as some of the other scents out there. *Don’t get me wrong, I still wear regular perfume though 😉
Ps. I am also in Love with the 7 Virtues “Noble Rose of Afghanistan” and “Afghanistan Orange Blossom”!!!

Beautiful scent, great for daytime. It has a slightly retro feel to it, similar to Visconte di Modrone’s Acqua di Selva from 1949. Works well for both men and women and blends well with the 7 Virtues Vetiver.
