Elegant flower. Not standart. Smells so good, turns into soapy in the end. Floral but very good chic style. Woman perfume not girlyy or manly. Its not that comlepx who adds this stupidy unnecessarily notes?

This is absolutely divine, had a sniff of it the other day in Ulta. I was never a big fan of Tuberose until i tried this one. WAW!!! The most beautiful white floral i’ve tried. The tuberose is so light and is in harmony with the aquatic notes and the yellow floral, with the soft cedar and sandalwood base. what a masterpiece! <3

Top notes of fresh marine accords, bergamot, lemon and mandarin were beautiful on my skin. It smelled so clean – albeit a little sharp with an alcohol note to me.
A few moments later, blending with the first scents, the floral “heart” notes of geranium, jasmine, lily of the valley, honeysuckle, rose, tuberose, marigold, and ylang-ylang made me feel so feminine and sexy!
With my heat chemistry, I wish the notes would have ended there. Clove, cassis wood, cedar, sandalwood, vetiver, heliotrope, amber and musk as the base notes were just too much for me. Notes of amber, any woody notes, and musk make me nauseated. Eventually, all I could pick up was a powdery, mature lady scent. I had to wash it off with soap and water.
    It’s a no for me.

When I think of the master of the white floral, I think of Michael Kors. So many of his fragrances are gorgeous white florals, and Sheer is no exception. I do detect a faint hint of citrus in the background. This is a warmer white floral than many of his other offerings; I feel like I almost pick up a bit of a Cashmeran note..? Perhaps that is the ‘animalic’ accord or the amber or the musk notes..? A soft musk appears on the dry down for me about 2 hours after applying, but this is still a soft white floral with a bare wink at the citrus notes. But it is not heavy on those notes at all, just a slight hint of each of those notes to me. So the white floral is not screeching, at least not to my nose. Perfect for the heat and especially the terribly high humidity, which we get a lot of where I live. Longevity is not great, not an all day fragrance, but not terrible either; I would say I get about 4 hours before this becomes a very soft skin scent.
When I want a nicely done, simple, everyday type of fragrance, more or less fairly casual, ‘no thought involved when wearing,’ just an easy-breezy, fairly safe, crowd-pleasing white floral, I often turn to Michael Kors…..and Sheer is a lovely addition to my collection. I don’t see any similarity to Amarige, Amarige is a little more complex, imho (and Amarige for me is much longer lasting, and a little powdery); but for me this is more like the original Michael Kors…But to each their own. 🙂 But I would say: if you like fragrances along the lines of Gucci Bloom, Diptyque’s Do Son, Burberry’s Brit EDT, Mugler’s Alien, Tocca Florence, Britney’s Curious, the ‘original’ Kim Kardashian perfume, the original Jennifer Aniston perfume…and of course, the ‘original’ Michael Kors perfume..if you like those kind of fragrances, you will *probably* like this…Not that any of those are dupes, but more or less “if you like that, you might like this…”. I would also say if you have one or more of those, you likely don’t need this..unless maybe like me, you just love white florals and can’t get enough, especially when warmer weather rolls around.
I quite like this (a lot!!!), I just wish it had better staying power…but that seems to be the case for me with a lot of fragrances heavy on the white floral.

My favorite one from MK tuberose fragrances. Very gentle and delicate (but not light as in “body mist” or “being watered down”). It is just simply “sheer” (like a “veil”) for “sensitive” people who are more “shy” with tuberose than others, people like me 🙂 All the notes are coming thru like a mellow creek in spring. I enjoy and love it so much, better than the original MK perfume (with very strong and cloying tuberose, almost smells like “rotten” flowers).
I like wearing it on our walk at sunny, breezy weekends. It pleases my husband very much, anytime he catches a whiff of a soft white floral trail. Such a lovely and peaceful fragrance!

Gorgeous fragrance! I get a really sheer tuberose and a sheer jasmine. Feminine and sensual, but light. Great for spring and summer. If it would only project better and lasted longer…
But one can’t have it all.
Final conclusion: Another great white floral from Michael Kors. He is the best in this category.

Michael Kors’ Sheer opens with light and clear tones like fresh ocean air, which melt into wafts of sweet, clean linen. It is traced with beautifully concocted accords of champagne and sherbet composed of the numerous elements the perfume possesses. With an alluring heart of a fantastically crafted combination of florals and woody spice, this perfume speaks true womanhood. The warm, intoxicating and heady shades of cedar, amber, and vetiver tantalize the senses. Sweetness of golden honey, juicy burst of orange, and bitter edge of bergamot; Sheer is a perfected and seamless fusion of scents. With all components together, it is one body. All together a simple fragrance, but mysteriously complex.

I have the Michael Kors Eau de Parfum, which doesn’t appear in the list of his fragrances. I don’t remember where I got it! I obviously didn’t test it because it is too flowery for my skin and kind of Fracassy 🙂 I guess I will try it again in the summer.

One of my all time favourite summer frags. Beautiful, delicate & sexy. Such a shame I only discovered it just before it was discountinued. 🙁 I used to get compliments every single day (if meeting new ppl) when wearing this. It reacted magically with my skin and stayed with me all day… smelling utterly delicioius. Spellbinding.

This is a lighter and more watery version of the original Michael Kors. Tuberose is still the feature to my nose but I couldn’t help but smell similar notes from Marc Jacob’s original scent in this as well sans the gardenia. In fact if I had to give a quick synopsis of it I would say it’s a cross between the two. This is especially beautiful in the summer but can be worn year round.
I purchased it hoping some of the listed honeysuckle would come through but sadly none ever materialized. Overall though this is a wonderful variant of the MK original and definitely worth a try if you can find a bottle.

I love this fragrance. It’s much smoother and not as intrusive as the Michael Kors original. The bergamot is beautifully balanced with the soft jasmine and warm tuberose. Now if Kors would just bring it back on the market all would be well! It’s rarely available.
