This is probably my very favourite perfume. Like a lot of Ayala’s perfumes it’s a real feel-good one. The apricot smells bigger, jucier and riper than apricots ever are in real life (at least in this part of the world) and the rose/aoud/oakmoss/vetiver combination with the fruit just makes it smell yummy. For me it’s more than just the sum of its notes – it’s got a lot of depth to it, and – in the oil version – a lot of longevity on me, much more than many naturals. I get about 6 hours ‘proper’ wear out of it (though the full dry-down with the vetiver lasts even longer), and I have very fair, dry skin. I agree with the people who said the other formulations don’t last so long – I tried a sample of the extrait and only got a couple of hours wear out of it. I think oils are usually the way to go for people like me.
I don’t find it like an aromatherapy product at all, but I do agree that it’s a calming, happy sort of scent – and, for me, more than worth the price.

The best of her chypre’s in my opinion. And one of the most strong of the bunch of samples i’ve ordered . I’m in the minority here cause i find it to have a decent sillage. And the oakmoss for a fan like me is very clear. ther’s also a huge terpenoid note, a powdery peach and of course my favorite perfume material, vetiver. Is unisex and my husband also test it and went mad from happiness.

My sample pack of Ayala Moriel arrived yesterday. I orderd 6 samples. I consider these more like scented oils then as perfumes.
starting with Megumi. This opens very sweet and a bit woody, vetiver and mossy. A very nice and pleasant smell. Comforting even. But I cant say its really a perfume. More as Kterhark said for aroma therapy.
I dont think I should where it as that.
The sillage is average. staying power not as good as well
For a scented oil I think the price is to much overated

Today my samples from Ayala arrived, and on the back of the package it said: “Aromatherapy samples”
If you approach this line with that in mind you’ll be OK, if you think you are ordering perfumes you’ll be in trouble.
Meguni. This is a scent that is evoking a memory. When I first moved to Colorado I rented a room in Evergreen, and lived in the first floor of a home that was visited by very large elk every evening. My roommate worked in a spa, and always had Aveda products in our shared bathroom. One of those products smelled like Meguni.
And that is my ‘complaint’, this wears like a fragrant, homeopathic body product. That aside, is it a pleasant body smelling product? Yes indeed. I would love, really, really love, to be surrounded by this smell while sitting in a spa and getting a massage. It is calming, mysterious and joyful.
Just in the process of sampling it I feel relaxed and happy. That alone is worth a recommendation. I suggest if you can to try the solid form, because I read that it lasts longer. Peace.
