Mawaddah is a super long lasting attar. It’s a meditation on rose, and an extremely well blended and clever composition. It starts as a beautiful fruity rose/oud that morphs into a powdery ambery pink rose. Periodically during it’s development the fruity rose comes back and transitions again into the ambery pink rose. Over 24 hours later I can still smell the core accord. This playful scent is made more interesting by the woody oud note, which may have some of the fruit elements that appear over the length of the composition’s duration. There was a beautiful floral aroma around me hours after I put this on, which garnered compliments. For lovers of roses with amber and musk, and pink roses.
