This is very nice. I can smell the amber and vanilla notes. A rich warm and cozy fall/winter fragrance.

Lovely high quality woods and spices. It changes character as it dries down.
This is what Charlie Blue aspires to be.

This was one of my first perfumes. Wore it in my twenties and it made me feel verry sexy. Must be the castoreum in the base. Most prominent is the vanilla and animalic combo. I stil have the old bottle (the one in the picture) but also purchased a new 100 ml bottle for only €11!. The new bottle does feel slightly more synthetic and less round. It makes the first few seconds less plesant. But the drydown is almost the same as the old stuff. Witch is what matters most since the juce has atomic strength. can smell it on clothes after two weeks…… just one spray.

One of my first teenage perfumes, the smell lasts for a long time on your clothes but not in an intrusive way

This perfume is not bad at all.. You can buy it for 12,50 euro at a major drugstore in the Netherlands. My husband isn’t a big fan of synthetic perfumes (according to him its best to pay more and smell better, so he tends to buy the realy expensive ones with the only natural ingredients) but there is something about this perfume he likes: I guess its the bergamot. The perfume is a bit too overpowering maybe, maybe a bit too much for wearing in the morning, its a sensual smell. The lasting power is enormous, the smell of the perfume will stay in your clothes for days. Well the best things about it: its cheap and my 4 year old son adores the smell.
The drydown is a bit too heavy for my taste, and this perfume might get boring. But why complain its only 12,50 and you can wear when you feel like! Not a bad buy at all..
We are still in a crises remember?

A floral edt with top notes of bergamot and orange flowers, heart notes of verbena, vetiver and patchouli on base notes of sandalwood, vanilla and castoreum.
    It can not be chypre!!!
It would be vanilla floral if that category existed.

I bought this based on the notes. I find it heavy with nearly cloying suffocating quality right from the start- don’t need to wait for the dry down, it is there from the go- on paper and on skin. Some so called vanilla based fumes have this nature and I find them tedious- not merely linear, but tedious. What ever else may be going on is stifled by the heavy overbearing pounding chord. It is one of a few sorts of chords that some may be tempted to call old or dated, but I do try to be more descriptive than that.

This is another one that developes a very stinky drydown note.

dirt cheap compare to other vanilla scents
very nice to layer with some rose flowery perfumes.
    not for the young crowd.

This perfume is AMAZING!! Very strong in the manner of Venice and Cartier Must. It survives the night and it is a typical vanilla classic. LOVE IT!!!
