Description

Yves Saint Laurent presents the third fragrance from the Manifesto line which includes the original Manifesto Eau de Parfum from 2012 and Manifesto L’Elixir Eau de Parfum from 2013. This new interpretation comes in the form of Manifesto L’Eclat Eau de Toilette representing a new dimension with its sparkling, radiant and fresh character.

Perfumers Anne Flipo and Loc Dong gave the composition a new, green and fresh aura that supposedly emphasizes strength, sense of style and femininity of those who wear it. The composition opens with green tea accord along with bergamot, neroli and blackcurrant buds. Translucent petals of jasmine and freesia are joined by red roses and orange blossom in the heart, altogether placed at the base of vanilla, tonka bean, sandalwood and cashmere.

The face of the perfume is actress Jessica Chastain, photographed by Mert and Marcus. The fragrance is available as 30, 50 and 90 ml Eau de Toillette.
Manifesto L’Eclat was launched in 2014.

Underwhelming on me. All I smell is faint citrus and green. Faded far too quickly

Wow Manifestó L’Eclat was a blind buy for me that totally took me by surprise a succulent explosion of Vanilla Currant buds and Tonka bean that enveloped my body and soul… Sensuality in a bottle
Absolutely amazing and warm yet refreshing, the green tea accord with bergamot and vanilla slowly warms ups with the tonka bean, Mysore sandalwood and cashmere woods leaving a woodsy trail.
    Oh my so delicious!
If you are into vanilla, tonka bean and currant buds, this is a must have!
    YSL Manifesto L’Eclat
When it dries up almost feels like ADDICT by Dior.
The YSL L’Eclat maybe a bit fresh and greener but equally just as sexy and enticing
    Sillage and longevity are great!

I bought a 100ml bottle and it arrived broken. But the smell is fantastic. I have no idea how it would be on skin but it smells like a version that you could enjoy in warm weather. I will definetly get another!!

Manifesto Eclat smells a lot like the original Manifesto. Maybe it’s a little fresher. I mostly get vanilla and tonka. The tea-note also stands out, giving the fragrance something soft and fresh. The woods are detectable in the drydown. Sillage and longevity are both average.

To start off this review I just want to take a moment to comment on how much I love the shape of this perfume bottle. I don’t know about you lovely people but regardless of how good a perfume smells if I do not like the bottle it makes it really hard for me to use the fragrance because I always like to create a beautiful display.
I finally blind bought this perfume online after no luck of finding it in any store to sample. This fragrance had been on my wish list for a very long time. I really tried to love the original and elixir because those were the only ones I could find in store, but were just too sweet for me!
I do like gourmands, but really classy well done ones that are not screechy/headache inducing. With that being said, I’m not saying the original wasn’t well done but it was just too sweet for me making the L’eclat a better option for me. L’eclat, although similar to the other manifestos has the green notes in it that balance it more and stops it from being so sweet. Upon initial spray the perfume is a bit loud and sharp, however after a minute or so this perfume turned into the most beautiful, comforting, classy, feminine scent. Indeed this fragrance is the sparkling, luminous, and fresher one out of the three.
I absolutely adore L’eclat! This fragrance is the most beautiful balance between sweet and fresh. Sensual and warm, I think this fragrance is actually perfect for the entire year. I understand why others might not prefer it in the winter because maybe it might not be as bold, but I think a double spritz will make it bold enough and sometimes I actually do love a fragrance that doesn’t project as much silage. I enjoy only having those who get close to me smell it. It creates more intimate moments. Although silage isn’t as strong in colder weather, in the summer I believe it would be just perfect and I cant wait to use it in warmer weather.
L’eclat reminds me of a fragrance that leaves your trail lingering and those who smelt you still remembering you. Perfect for a first date! I’m so happy to have discovered and be a part of fragrantica. I really appreciate all the useful reviews all members leave to help others as this was a blind buy for me and I am very happy. I believe that I have totally found a gem and will buy another back up bottle just in case I struggle getting it again. xx

Scent; Vanilla, tonka and currant sing on my skin and it is beautiful! Hints of cashmere woods and zesty tea leaves waft through pleasantly, but the three notes I mentioned leave the biggest impression on me 🙂
Notes/feelings; The combination is unlike anything else, it it even differs from the original Manifesto and other flankers. The perfume has a sweet aromatic vibe to it that I absolutely adore. I tried all of Manifesto line and this stole my heart!
Sillage & longevity; It’s a skin scent, made for those close to you. It lasts and lasts though.
Bottle; I love the soft, angelic tones of the bottle. It’s beautifully cut. Heavy and expensive feeling (which it is!)

L’eclat is 90% similar to the first version of the YSL Manifesto.
Soft vanilla, a bit of tonka bean, a little vanilla pudding, the only difference from Manifesto is that it is less likely to feel that tonka bean and amber. Rose and green tea do not smell standouting here, it is warm, just a shy kind of warmth. In the summer is quite strong but after about 20 minutes soften.
I recommend to people who like these vanillish but gentle kind of scents. With an aspect not bland, not like all others.

I have L’elixir and I love it. So I thought this one is as good as L’elixir and I bought it blind. It’s totally different. It opens similar all Manifesto series. It’s like Burberry Weekend or Armani She for me… I have dissapointment about that. If anyone trade this one with another perfume I’m here. I have a 1.7 oz just one sprayed bottle.

This is the nicest version to me. I found the others too sweet & cloying, this is the Vanilla & Orange Blossom featherbed I had really wanted. Elegant, understated & distinctive.

It is indeed a pleasant ,classy scent.not a let down

It actually smells like a lighter, smoother version of Armani’s Si to me, Si with the sharp edges filed down (both are sweet vanillas with a ‘crisp & clean’ woody/green aspect, note that they share alot of notes in common too), crossed with the regular Manifesto. It is also vaguely reminiscent of Dior Addict 2012, but minus the depth and darkness…this fragrance is all about light and tenderness. It was love at first sniff! But when it got difficult to find, I went for Si instead. It’s that clean, green feel to it contrasting with the loveliest syrupy vanilla that got me hooked…it has this beautiful, ethereal vibe. If I am to be completely honest, Manifesto L’Eclat smells better than Si (going by smell alone)…and it’s not easy to admit that as Si is my signature! If this was more widely available, more concentrated and had better staying power, it would be my signature instead of Si. Now, Si may be abit rougher around the edges and abit less refined, but it wins in the sillage/longevity and availability departments, hands down. Si is also more ‘bang for my buck’ because I don’t need to spray much, it’s more potent and has more presence, whilst Manifesto L’eclat is more discrete and delicate, too balanced and peaceful to make a statement. But by itself, L’Eclat’s longevity is not too shabby, 7-8 hours when I tested it on my skin, with soft-moderate sillage… gets close to the skin sooner than I prefer though. I personally wouldn’t wear this in summer due to the sweetness (we get really warm, sweaty summers here), and it’s too delicate for the dead of winter …but it’s perfect for spring, fall, and winter’s early days.

This is my favorite of the 4 versions, I’ve tested them all. This one is the most uplifting, easy-going scent. I don’t so much sense the citrus, but more the acidity of it.
Still every single one of them made my head go dizzy when I inhaled them up close for too long. They have this calming tranquilizing quality to them, that can be perceived as mind-fogging.

  15. :

    4 out of 5

I get basically no citrus (perhaps a little bergamot) this is blended with woods and a soapy white floral (not jasmine- more of a soapy rose type floral). This only makes up part of the fragrance, I get no ‘freshness’ from this, all I get is a thick syrupy vanilla with a kind of soapy musk. This is pleasant enough but it doesn’t really do anything for me.
Not my favourite- I prefer the original. Longevity very good, sillage moderate, but ultimately not what I was expecting. I expected something lighter and fresher but have actually found something soapy combined with thick vanilla. The original is much more complex and appealing. I like vanilla when done right- but this is overly sweet and not well balanced.
It’s odd because I get more of the citrus and jasmine in the original. Hmm.

  16. :

    3 out of 5

Mysterious. Beautifully blended. I get the florals and some citrus but it’s also sweet and somewhat woody. My favourite is still the l’elixr but this has impressed me way more than i thought it would.

A beautiful surprise for me. On my skin is just insanely beautiful sandal wood mixed with some dizzyingly marvelous flower combo work. Loved this one, unexpectedly much!

  18. :

    3 out of 5

This is a delightful, subtle, feminine scent. I can’t take too much flower anymore, so I decided to try this one, since I love vanilla, discrete vanilla. It is sweet and fresh at the same time, with a clean smell. Vanilla is here but not overwhelming. It is light and airy. It is less powdery than the original Manifesto and less strong than the Elixir (in which something is too powerful, maybe the heliotrope?). This one, L’Eclat is perfection!! Nice projection and lasting power 🙂 BEAUTIFUL!

  19. :

This one took me by surprise. I didn’t think I would like it. You see, I used to think that I didn’t like sweet perfumes, turns out I actually enjoy some of them. And this is one of those. What I like about Manifesto L’Eclat is the sweet feel that the vanilla features. This makes it smell sweet but comforting and soft. I think it shares the same vibe as Sensuous Nude by Estée Lauder, not that they smell the same, both have a woodsy undertone that balances out the sweetness, which in Manifesto is due to the vanilla and in Nude is the coconut.
It’s also a fresh kind of sweet that is not fruity, but a bit herbaceous to my nose. It might be due to the green tea and the combination of flowers that give this fresh smell to the initial stage. It dries down to the woodsy vanilla and the faintest sandalwood.
All in all it’s a beautiful warm scent that stays with you all day but doesn’t herald you as you enter a room.

The most beautiful perfume I ever tried. Deep, mysterious and ethereal. Lovely. I don’t think I’ll ever get fed up with it.

I love all things YSL Manifesto but this one in particular stands out and is adored! It has the same amazing fluffy vanilla, the same tangy lime and neroli, the same weighty and grounded sandlewood. The difference could be in the green tea but it’s not the same green tea you find in Flowerbomb or Elizabeth Arden Green Teas. It’s more aromatic. And there is some note of sugar water, like the kind you might use to make homemade lemonade in the summer with freshly squeezed lemons. It’s sweet for sure but not overpowering or heavy. And it doesn’t last the whole time, it’s just in the opening.
The dry down gets back to the more traditional Manifesto which is totally fine with me since, as I said, I love it. They all wear so well and fit plenty of occasions and seasons. I know this seems to many to be a spring/summer flanker, and I can see why since it does feel lighter than the original, but I’d also argue that if you only wanted one Manifesto, this would be an excellent choice and could be worn year round with no problem. This scent makes me happy, makes people around me happy, it represents me well, light but interesting and substantial. Beautifully composed and always makes me want more. My one and only issue is that of all of them, this Manifesto lasts the least amount of time on my skin and requires the most frequent re-application. Yes, I enjoy the opening notes so much that it doesn’t bother me to smell them over and over again, but, it is hard to profess my love for such a divine scent when I can’t wholeheartedly endorse it’s quality. I am certain YSL can find a way to increase its endurance. Once they have done that, I can give a 10/10. Until then, I still give this a very stron 9/10!

I got a decant of this. On my left hand I’m wearing it, and on my right is Valentino Uomo (which I got as a gift). They are identical at first for 10 minutes – hazlenut, vanilla, chocolate. This one dries down to more warmth and sandalwood and vanilla, whereas Uomo gets to something woodier. L’eclat like a hot chocolate and a blanket on a winter’s night, absolutely soothing, but just the slightest hint of freesia to keep it from being too food-y. On my skin I don’t pick up the rose, orange blossom or bergamot. Uomo is spicier and has more green/leafy notes, but still, they are supremely close.
I greatly prefer L’eclat, because it is totally unisex, without the spiciness that I dislike on my skin. I would consider buying because the price is so reasonable, and will absolutely be purchasing for female friends/family who like gourmands.

This fragrance is quite spicy, aromatic and woody. I sense lots of sandalwood and woody notes, same jasmine and vanilla too. It’s not that sweet as the other two from that line.
It’s not green or fresh either, more warm and strong.
Wearable, but my least favorite Manifesto.

  25. :

    4 out of 5

I tried this because of the reviews, and maybe it’s my skin chemistry, but all I got was a first strong blast of cotton candy from vanilla and tonka, and later some shy florals. The saddest part of this story is that it lasted about 4 hours as much, at least as perfume and not something I have to bury my nose at my skin to smell. Now it’s been about 12 hours and I catch a slight glimpse of bergamot and neroli, but almost as a thing of my imagination.
Had a similar experience with the original Manifesto. It seems that this perfume line hates me 🙁

  26. :

This is the freshest, most sophisticated spring/summer vanilla I have smelled to date. There’s a fluffy, breezy feel to it that keeps the scent light and airy, similar to the feel of D&G Pour Femme and Lacoste Sensuelle (the scents are not the same). It’s also similar in sweetness.
It’s gorgeous yet so easy to wear.
Longevity is moderate, longer lasting on clothes, and projection is moderate-to-soft. But be careful not to over-spray or else you’ll lose the breezy freshness and get starchy stuffiness instead, trust me.
This is my favorite out of the three Manifesto’s. The original is not very unique to my nose, it’s best in winter but it just doesn’t compete with my Le Couvent des Minimes. The Elixir is too citrus, scratchy white floral for my taste.

this fragrance is beautiful. i am surprised.
the sweet manifesto range is something i would normally avoid, but i took a risk with a blind buy based on what you’ve all written on here….and i am not disappointed.
this is Manifesto gone right. It is slightly sweet (not cloying or sickly or gourmand), it is aromatic in a gentle and fresh way and the florals are blended together to perfection…and they keep on coming. Vanilla can be overwhelming on my skin. Tocade was an absolute disaster! but no…the vanilla is gentle, balanced with the sandalwood and tonka.
…the sillage and longevity on me is not what is to be expected from an EDT, it’s big (like Tocade). so i think i might save this for the cooler months.
on my skin the dry down remains strong and persistent, when most perfumes simply fade on me to soft versions of the base notes quite quickly. it is what i wanted JPG classique to do, instead of disappearing like it does. right now, it smells very similar to the opening of classique on my wrists, yet it is in the mid stage to drydown.
honestly…grab yourself a bottle. why oh why a limited edition when the (IMO) cloying original is still available? there is no accounting for taste (someone once said to me).
this fume makes me smile. comforting and uplifting at the same time. it’s not my usual thing…i happily go for challenging (in comparison) fumes like shiaparelli, boudoir, madame rochas and some of the smokey agent provocateurs. this is something light and fresh and yes, beautiful.

I am amazed at the price of this gem! A huge 90ml bottle for £35???!!!
Very well done fresher version of Manifesto. A lovely zesty opening with fruity blackcurrant settles into a sweet, warm and aromatic tonka – This is one of the few perfumes where I can really smell the tonka in its own right- usually I find it hard to detect, or it blends too much with another ingredient.
The base is very sensual sandalwood with just a tiny touch of vanilla. I like the way the middle notes stay in the background giving a beautiful floral aroma.
Although I cant detect the tea in the beginning I think it`s what keeps this fresh throughout.
The initial blast has good silage and so far this has lasted for about 4 hours – Im still getting nice little wafts as I move around and my scarf is definitely holding it 🙂
I read that people think its a limited edition- Debenhams in the UK still have it but on their website it says limited stock, which it didnt a few months ago- Therefore I think it may be on the way out!!

Very feminine cosy. It reminded me of Escada Magnetism- a lighter version which does not stay on any more than 3 -4 hours..

When the original Manifesto came out, I really wanted to like it. I love most of the notes in it, but when I tried it on I found the fragrance rather boring. I mean I liked it, but not enough to actually buy it – mainly because the drydown contained a twang of something just a little bit too heavy and pungent that kind of rubbed me the wrong way.
I didn’t even know this fragrance had been released, but when I read the reviews, I knew I had to try it – and oh, bliss – it’s precisely what I’d wished the original Manifesto smelled like. This is simply devine, and the drydown is so cosy, creamy and heavenly. And best of all – it’s staying power is amazing for an eau de toilette. In my opinion they ought to include this in the collection permanently.

  32. :

On me, this is like a more wearable and fresh version of Emporio Armani Lei, which I am not a fan of. I realized that when some kind of tea is added to a fragrance, I immediately find it refreshing and interesting. And this one is no exception. I was not very keen on the classic Manifesto but I think I adore this one.

  33. :

First I didn’t like it at all – it was too sweet sickly sugary for me – tried it during the summer. Received it as a present and thought to give it to somebody… Recently (it’s quite cold outside) decided to give it another try – and I couldn’t believe: beatiful, warm, light, cosy feminine scent… Now it’s one of my favourits 🙂

  34. :

    4 out of 5

I love the original Manifesto and while this very similar, it’s a bit lighter. I would describe the original as a woodsy vanilla and this as a green vanilla. Either way, both great renditions of vanilla. I appreciate the way the vanilla is not surrounded by a lot of fruits and florals. Vanilla can take an odd turn on my skin when it’s surrounded by too many fruity or floral notes. This smells like pure aromatic vanilla goodness all the way through. I also love the powdery drydown. The powdery note comes through a little earlier in the original. The sillage and longevity are exceptional for an EDT. I love the Manifesto line, it’s just beautiful.

  35. :

    5 out of 5

YSL Manifesto L’Eclat, when just applied on me, smells different close up and from afar. When I sniff my wrist directly, the leafy, pungent aspect of black currant leaf is dominating. But when I catch a whiff in the air, it’s a deep tonka and vanilla. The differences make it quite intriguing.
After about 1 hour, when the sillage drops, the leafy characteristic also fades. Instead, it’s the juicy, tart black currant fruit that balances with the powdery vanilla. The powdery texture actually feels like powdered sugar. Manifesto L’Eclat feels very fruity and sugary, but cashmere and sandalwood, while complementing the vanilla and tonka bean, also help to keep it from being immature or overly girly. Along with time, the fruity aspect also gradually fades, and it eventually becomes a deep, sensual, yet cosy skin scent of vanilla, with a slight caramel and chocolate nuance.
The sillage is moderate and the longevity is around 8 hours. I only briefly smelt the other two Manifesto, thus can’t really compare. But even though there is promient fruity note in L’Eclat, I sitll find it a relatively thick vanilla fragrance. I’d recommend it as an adult and relatively substantial vanilla to those who have a sweet tooth.

Tried today, it’s gorgeous. It’s a lovely, powdery, feminine scent. A very clean and soft smell. Beautiful.

On me this is less green and softer starting, and then turning into a sweeter version of the original. It is less vanilla and more sugar in the middle stages, almost reminded me of flowerbomb. And yes it lasts much longer than the original.

  38. :

Manifesto L’eclat eau de toilette is a great mix of Vanilla, Tonka and Cashmere wood, warm, sexy, cosy, flrity, womanish. This one reminds me of DKNY Cashmere MIst – but they have different top and middlenotes. They are like sisters in basnote.

Manifesto L’Éclat has all the qualities of the original Manifesto without the bland, dull finish that I disliked. The addition of green tea and white florals makes this version easier to wear in daytime, youthful and even more glamour. And it LASTS. I’m used to eaux de parfum who stay maximum 4 hour on my skin. This is an eau de toilette and one spray lasts 7 hours and more, while creating a great sensual sillage. I’m so happy !

  40. :

If you love Manifesto but find it a bit too heavy L’Eclat is a very good alternative.
When you first spray it . it’s very similar to original Manifesto only lighter and the dry down is very woody and a bit green.
This version is brighter and lighter than the original and can be happily worn during spring and summer.
A SA told me that this flanker won’t be around for longasit is a limited edition, personally I did not get a bottle as it smells very similar to Manifesto which I already have.

I am fond of perfumes and i could say it is one of my passions. My daughter received this ysl perfume as a gift and when i smelt it i found it very nice vanilla, powdery perfume and some how like the (La Vesta Bel) from (Lancome) and better than (Armani) (Si) and it last for a good time refering to the last perfume.
I really love to wear these soft perfumes though i am an adult man for i love the smell of perfumes whether they are for male or female, for the basic raw materials that have been used in their manufacture like white florals or tuberose or gardenia or freesia or sandalwood etc. have no gender or lets say this scent is male or female one.they are lovely and beautiful poem for our nose and a good symphony for our minds which we fly with them in our minds to a magical world of fantasy ,this world belongs only to those who appreciate the meaning of good smell to be part of our soul inspiration.so i adore all kinds of perfumes soft or strong or what ever they call them.

Such a shame this is a collector edition, it’s the best one, just collected mine today

  43. :

For me, this version is the best between Manifesto line, for those who find regular Manifesto and L’Elixir versions too flat and boring, this one has more depth.
Jasmine, tea, neroli notes make this perfume very aromatic and rich, perfectly blended with vanilla tones and cashmere woods makes a great finish. Very sophisticated and upgraded version of Manifesto. Staying power & silage is better as well.

Manifesto L’Eclat is the fresher, chicer twin of Manifesto. It’s fresh, modern and sophisticated, and I immediately think of a very powerful young lady when I first caught a whiff of it. Definite powerhouse in any young woman’s perfume cellar.
It opens very bright and fresh, the top notes amalgamating into very seductive mix. The freshness of its opening, however, dulls down into this very confusing residual dry-down. It’s neither sweet nor bitter, neither heavy nor light, but one thing for sure: it’s rather overwhelming and dizzying. Lots of vanilla with potpourri, yet it’s not light or sweet. Thankfully, this only appears after one or two days, so you’ve got all the goodness of L’Eclat before this sinister side rears its head.
Overall, I feel that L’Eclat is a very lovely addition to the Manifesto range. Bottle is modern, chic and beautiful, and it does justice to the juice it contains. Just make sure that you don’t use too much of it; two in the right spots are more than enough to last you all day, and more will result in it wearing you instead of the other way round.

I love this one. A sweet fragrance, still not cloying and floral. This one is a must have fragrance. Light, sensual, feminine and has the qualities of perfume perfect for evening wears.

I really like this one (leaning to love). I can’t explain why, it’s neither unique nor will it stop people dead in their tracks. But it is extremely lovely. It’s sweet (leaning to candied), rich and feminine but clean at the same time, so it doesn’t get cloying…best of all it has SUPERB longevity for an EDT and leaves a lovely trail behind you. I was most impressed that it lasted all day on me when I tried it, and though there may be a few smell-alikes out there, this one wins extra points for developing beautifully over the hours (instead of just fading off into some typical sweet-musk base too soon)…a quality product. I do sort of agree with the reviews comparing it to Addict (especially the new one), it’s like a softer, sweeter and fresher version. Or more accurately, it is a cleaner, ‘spring-time’ version of the original (which I love as well but often find too sweet), though I would wear this one all year round. So bottom line, if you need something sweet, candied, flirty but also clean, grown-up, sophisticated and non-cloying (with sillage and longevity powers to boot), this is your lady. Signature scent material.

I am wearing this today, I have tried the original but found it too sickly sweet and it only lasted about 2 hours. The éclat however is a much more beautiful fragrance. It is still quite similar to the original but it is less sweet and somehow seems warmer and just nicer to my nose. I wouldn’t say it is lighter but perhaps it’s the addition of the green notes that are making this more appealing to me. It is a beautiful subtle vanilla that is not overpowering and would easily suit any time of day or occasion. I would love to have this for the cooler winter weather. I sprayed it 4 hours ago and it’s still going strong!

L’Eclat is a lovely new addition to the Manifesto family. It’s quite an unusual fragrance; feminine and subtle, yet very recognisable with a nice modern edge. Whereas the original Manifesto, as well as the Elixir edition are both very sweet, with a dominant powdery vanilla note; L’Eclat offers a good balance of sweet and fresh. This version is a lot lighter, more versatile and easier to wear. If you find the previous two a little too sweet and heavy- this EDT edition might be perfect for you.
The opening of L’Eclat is absolutely divine. It’s very distinctively aromatic, sweet and green all at the same time. In fact, if the opening notes persisted throughout the entire composition, this would probably be one of my favourite fragrances of all time. It’s a real shame that the scent dries down so quickly… The transition from the opening to the drydown is so quick, that I’m not really picking up on the heart notes in-between. There are some soft floral accords lingering in the background (namely freesia and orange blossom), but they are very faint. The drydown is still very pleasant, with the familiar vanilla and tonka bean smoothed out with cashmere and sandalwood. It’s sweet and powdery, and very light, with a hint of something fresh to keep it interesting. It’s recognisably from the ‘Manifesto’ family, but a little shier and gentler than its antecedents.
The only real criticism I have of this is the longevity, which isn’t great (the scent becomes very faint after 2-3 hours). Thankfully I got the largest bottle, so I can keep respraying just to get to smell the divine opening… Also, I normally don’t go into price tags, but this time, I have to say I was surprised. A full, 90ml bottle of this version was cheaper than the smallest bottle of the original Manifesto (at a full price before reduction), so it might be worth looking into. I strongly recommend this to all the Manifesto fans; but also to those who are just looking for a lovely, soft and sweet fragrance for the spring and summer months. 🙂

Pleasant surprise! I’ve tested the other two Manifestos several times, and I wanted to like them, but an unusual plastic note always distracted me from buying them. I don’t find this annoying note in this version, but still reminds me of her “big sisters”, only in positive ways 🙂 Soft, gourmand, yet fresh, modern and feminine, well-blended fragrance. Most wearable perfume of the Manifestos. Usually I like the heavier, sweeter and more concentrated ones better, but this time I’m falling for the EDT 😉

At the beginning, it smells so much like allure- eau de parfum with strong bergamot, freesia and vanilla notes but after a while it transforms in baby talcum powder with lemon…

Fresher than the original Manifesto, the opening is very promising, but quickly settles to a sweet musky smell (I know musk isn’t listed as a note) that is very generic and uninteresting.

Somewhere in the middle of original and elixir. Less green than the name suggests, very vanilla and also a little flowery. It is not necessarily a summer fragrance, even though it has been released in spring. But if you love the other two but find them to heavy for warm weather, this one is a tad fresher!

Very sweet at the beginning, very pleasant and cozy all the time! Good choice for autumn and winter, because it will wrap you like a warm cloud.
    And, very ladylike.
Update: I’ve tested it again and yes, it is very nice, but aromatic green note bothers me a bit. Greens definitely don’t like me.

Finally! A Manifesto that I love! Fresh, clean a little green and long lasting; it won’t overpower but it will get noticed. I bought it and everyone wants to know what I’m wearing 😉 A must try for those who think the first 2 offerings are too sweet!

I like Manifesto, I love Manifesto l’elixir, I adore Manifesto l’eclat! It has a green note that makes it more ” wearable” . It’s not headache inducing, for sure!

This is a rich full-bodied vanilla tonka experience. Sensual and intoxicating. A toned down version of Dior Addict without any sharp edges. The best Manifesto so far. A bit too sweet for my taste though, but a very interesting flanker worth checking out for those with a weakness for seductive scents with character and a bit of sweetness.

Too much vanilla, not a very impressive perfume …
On me it remebers a lighter version of the very first Dior Addict Eau Fraiche

Tried this today and can’t really detect much difference with the original Manifesto. Maybe to a trained nose they are different but to me they smell quite similar. If you have the original then you don’t want something that smells 90 % identical, I know I don’t!
