It’s not Mandacaru that is based on this flower that has a smell during the day and another at night.
It’s Vitória Régia Flor do Dia e Vitória Régia Flor da Noite.
Each has a different smell. I like the Flor da Noite which is a very delicate floral, smells like clean skin after shower.
Suitable for summer or springtime days.

I agree with the previous reviewers that this scent smells very simple compared to the note list. It’s nice, light, good for summer. I was interested in cereus. The kind SA told me usual “all natural” b***s*** about this flower that has a smell during day and another one at night, but I cannot remember which one is used here. I was expecting more and was somehow disappointed.

The hand cream came with an order and than I bought the scent as a gift. Yep, lovely, conforting, bedtime fragrance. Very cute!

It is a very simple scent despite the amount of notes listed, but very lovely. I keep seeing people ask in the forum for scents that are similar to body lotion. Well, this is it, possibly better. Of course, they also have a body cream from this same line and I think it would be wonderful to layer the cologne on top. Subtle, but not generic. It’s very very creamy and so comforting to smell.

The description mentions a lot of ingredients: night blooming cereus, pink pepper, peach, orange, grapes, jasmine, rose, mimose, violet, lavender, tonka bean, cinnamon, cloves, musk, sandalwood, cedar, patchouli, guaiac wood and vanilla.
    Wow… that´s a huge list.
You know how Mandacaru, the cologne, smells like? Smells like NOTHING. To call it “subtle” is a joke. It´s beyond subtle. It´s so light, that I had to spray a lot of the frag on my skin to (maybe) smell something.
If you like conceptual fragrances or if you enjoy being the Emperor (just like that tale, “The Emperor´s new clothes”), this one is for you.
Update: all you can feel with this frag is a velvety sensation, probably because of the musk. All the other notes are simply not there.
