Fresh and green magnolia with a delicate masculine twist and exotic creamy bouquet is a new fragrance of the collection by Tom Daxon. The composition was envisaged to interpret endless alleys of magnolia, perceiving them in full bloom, with elegant and opulent petals, by accentuating their green and fruity aspects by introducing gardenia and sambac jasmine. Masculine tartness originates from cedar which melts in passions and exotic shades of ylang-ylang by creating an olfactive image if creamy and fleshy petals of beautiful magnolia blossom.
The composition of TOM DAXON MAGNOLIA HEIGHTS opens with gardenia, green and elegant notes of violet leaves and ylang-ylang, announcing magnolia in the heart combined with sambac jasmine flowers. The base offers cedar and silky musk as signature of this green-floral fragrance. The delicate spring composition has the goal to highlight fragility and beauty of magnolia blossom, its petals and fresh, green aromas.
According to the sources, Magnolia Heights was launched as the 10th fragrance in the collection by Tom Daxon and its composition was being developed for over two years. Perfumer of the composition is Tom Daxon, who managed to enrich the refreshing, green shades of the flower with exotic, tropical nuances of a floral bouquet full of ylang-ylang, gardenia and sambac jasmine. Characteristic beauty hides in the scent of spring air twinkling with green freshness subtly enriched with silky musky trail.
Fragrance Magnolia Heights arrives in the same bottle form as the previous editions by Tom Daxon, as a 50ml Eau de Parfum.

Such a lovely surprise. Not sure I enjoy the aesthetic that pervades most of the Tom Daxon line – that cold, minimal, somewhat abstract, yet somewhat safe impression – but this turned out to be rather beautiful.
Its a perfume that gives an experience. With good perfumes can always be the feeling of putting your nose inside a flower. This perfume does that in a wonderfully delicate way. It smells so natural. from the outset there is a juiciness that gives the impression of buds ready to burst. Its far from ‘sweet fruit’. Its light, with plenty of ‘space’, it feels microscopic in the nicest way. The thing changes fast, with greener facets come into play, and then after a little time some filtered, restrained jasmines and gardinas. They enhance the magnolia excellently and make it more of a floral than a minimal.
Overall its a delicate rendering. The whole comes off as an impressive study of the magnolia plant. I personally love this kind of scent. For others it might be too quiet, unobtrusive etc. For me, i’ll keep this one on the side. One to study, to remember with.
