Oh~ how I LOVE Africanimal!!
The opening of Africanimal is very strong! Blast with honey and pepper, almost kike a spice-honey bomb drop in front your nose. But soon, it settles into something warm, sexy and exotic!
This perfume is quite liner as the notes are simple but still, in this one the honey and pepper blend so well together. The wood and bergamot are noticeable but the tend to hide behind the scenes.
I try to use this one during the summer time, but since the weather in Taiwan can be very sultry, I personally prefer use it during fall or winter.
Projection is good, longevity is 6hrs+.
Best M.A.C perfume ever!

Wow! An intoxicating smell, that’s what it is. On me, it smells 70% honey, 15% pepper, 10% woods, and 5% bergamot. Interestingly, the initial spray is an overwhelming honey which only amplifies with the rest of the notes when one after another they surface. Pepper is the most noticeable among them and gives an unusual combination of peppery honey for most part of the dry down. I’m surprised to see the amount people suggesting it for summer use, but I’ll give it a try and see what happens in the heat. After all, there must be something in it if even the name suggests a hot savanna.

An african animal must smell wonderful if they smell like this! With it’s honey and spices,it’s sweet and exotic!
I really like the honeycomb motif on the bottle. The colors remind me of a giraffe, which ties in with the african animal theme. And it’s very long-lasting. This is a definite must-have!

I was expecting more honey/beeswax, but no! it smells like floral, bergamot, dash wood & honey with pepper spiciness. (Not my style as don’t care for pepper notes). This would be perfect for those who like Armani code, jimmy choo etc.. I have FB up for swap – contact me.

Smells like pepper-spiked honey, sweet and spicy at the same time… Super long-lasting and not too bad on the ol purse either lol…

This perfume smell like beeswax, perfumy beeswax.
It is not something I would buy as a perfume for myself. Maybe as a showergel or a body lotion or maybe even a splash. But for me it is too singular note smelling for me to use on a perfume-basis. I also got tired from the smell after about 20 min.
If you love the smell of honey and beeswax this is a great option. It is long lasting and not very expensive.
