I got this as one of six 4ml sample sizes and it is by far my favourite of the bunch (though I have not yet worn one of them). That’s probably because it’s the most like other fruity-floral scents on the market – it’s familiar, yet still a bit different.
On first spray, I detect violet very clearly, and I like that a lot. I never smell the rose and am not sure what heliotrope smells like. I can detect a clearly fruity ‘overtone’ after about a half hour – in which the raspberry is stronger than the citrus notes. After about 90 minutes the scent needs topping up and it’s at that point that I can smell the amber.
On the whole this is a nice fragrance. It will probably last longer on many other people; I often need to re-apply perfumes after just a couple of hours, even the most expensive. This compares quite well.
