Mandarina Duck is launching a new fragrance for men named M+ created as a duo fragrant concept. This concept includes standard flacon 100, 50 or 30ml which will always be combined with smaller flacons, one aimed for keeping at home and the other for work, travelling, gym… – according to the brand Mandarina Duck.
Perfume M+ opens with lemon, grapefruit, black pepper and lavender, while the heart accentuates green and tart scents of cypress combined with essential iris oil and floral accords of violets. The base incorporates accords of tonka, cedar, amber and vetiver. Perfumer of the edition is Veronique Nyberg.
Flacons of the men’s fragrance M+ are available in aluminum packaging, in metallic silver color. The offer includes M+ in the following sizes: 100ml + 30ml Eau de Toilette; 50ml + 30ml Eau de Tolette and 30ml + 10ml Eau de Toilette.
M+ was launched in 2014.

As a huge fan of Pure Black, I was excited to blind buy this as it is really hard to come by.
At first spray its very aromatic, almost dusty, a little hint of alcohol.
Shortly after my nose picks up quite a bit of lavender, a touch of cedar and of course the DNA strand of Pure Black….tonka bean.
On the dry down, still heavy lavender and little tonka.
Honestly I am not stoked about this scent as I feel like I can get the same smell from TJ or Ross for $20.
If I can compare (and don’t take my word for it) I would say it is along the same lines of Azzaro Chrome (More ozonic than chrome) and Billy Jealousy Illicit.
Overall: Lots of lavender and ozonic features. Nothing new. Definitely a disappointment coming from a Mandarina Duck fan.
