L’archétype du flacon boudoir des années folles.
Le paroxysme du parfum des courtisanes dangereuses des années du début du XXème siècle.
Je meurs d’envie d’en déposer quelques gouttes sur mon corps afin de revivre ces années folles dans tous les sens du terme où un homme pouvait se ruiner pour une femme… Non pas que j’en rêve (loin s’en faut d’ailleurs étant donné que je suis folle amoureuse de mon Gilles chéri) mais je trouve cette période fascinante tant par ses excès que par sa beauté.
Ce flacon pour moi, symbolise cette période.
Reste plus qu’à le sentir… ;O) Hé oui…. Du rêve à la réalité…hahahahahahaaha

I wore this last night for New Year’s Eve, and what a great scent for a romantic evening at home. I don’t have an extensive leather perfume collection, but I honestly think this is the most beautiful one I now own.
You would think that floral lily scent and leather would be too much contrast, but it totally works. It’s so artfully blended that there is never an an awkward transition. The lily and jasmine are prominent at first, but then the beautiful leather accord created by labdanum, hay, and tobacco takes over and creates the most lovely scent.
This is an extrait so it’s very longlasting, but not a high projection. I wouldn’t wear it out for an evening expecting others to catch it. To me it’s perfect for close encounters. We found it very sexy and earthy and well worth the money. This comes in a limited edition Art Deco style, high quality glass bottle in a gorgeous box and is on the expensive side and is sold only in France now, but if you can track one down it will be a treasure.

This is a beauty !
A nostalgic, touching, velvety dark with a sparkle, animalic beauty. A free horse with flowers in the mane – white lilies, narcissus, labdanum make for a soft and quite wearable paradox of a musk.
I love it and already wish for a full bottle.
